Description: This is one of the genjutsu passed down since ancient times in Kusamuragakure. The user first disappears from plain sight in a mist-like fashion in order to approach the target without being detected. Once close enough, the target will then be completely robbed of their mobility as they see the mirage of a fast-growing tree coiling itself around them. Given that the subject remains conscious, this technique proves extremely efficient for information-gathering. Once the target is immobile, the user can then attack the enemy, usually after emerging from the trunk of the tree. Though the technique is a powerful one, its effects can be reversed at the user with the power of Sharingan.

Description: A technique developed by the current head of the family who is now a rogue, this is a specialty of Kallen Senju's being the manipulation of vines and those that can be concurrently seen as if from the user's body. By utilizing the aspect of nativity of the wood and also the aspect of the Wooden Body techniques, Kallen developed a jutsu to create vines out of one's own body. These fines originate from only a select few key places and upon activation there are holes, or rather seals, in the select places. Each hole is 2 centimeters in diameter. There are three holes in a triangular fashion each on the forehead, in the palm of each hand, and the sole of each foot. There is also a single hole of about 6 centimeters diameter located at the belly button of the user. Each hole takes on the form of a black circle seal with the kanji for vine at it's center.

These seals produce a single vine each in green color with purple lines. The purple lines have a fine edge allowing them to be useful to cut, slice, and stab targets. Now, each vine is only able to go so far from the user as per the rank learned. Vines can grapple like a hook, act like a spear/sword, but are no more than an extension of the user to which anything the vine feels they do as well. Each vine has a diameter of the hole-seal it came out of.

E- The initial creation of the seals, this does nothing for summoning the vines or creating them, merely allows one to utilize and then create the seals, this is the only portion that is Fuuinjutsu oriented. Once done once, it never needs to be learned or performed again, the body is physically changed due to the use of this technique.
D- The user can utilize all holes but the ones at the forehead and belly button to create the vines and can manipulate them to up to 20 feet.
C- The user can utilize all holes but the ones at the belly button to create the vines, can manipulate them to up to 30 feet, and can hold off up to D rank physical attacks only.
B- The user can utilize all holes, manipulate them up to 40 feet, and create defensive barriers with them that can hold off up to C rank physical and chakra attacks that are not Katon oriented.
A- The user can utilize all holes, manipulate them up to 50 feet, and create defensive barriers with them that can hold off up to B rank physical and chakra attacks that are not Katon oriented. Katon techniques are extinguished up to D rank.
S- The user can utilize all holes, manipulate them up to 60 feet, and create defensive barriers with them that can hold off up to A rank physical and B rank chakra attacks. Katon techniques are extinguished up to C rank.
