Helping on the Farm = Link

The air on a farm in the land hidden in the glacier seemed that much fresher. It had a hint of pureness to it, something that could not be found in most places. It was here that Lee had been assigned yet another mission that others would name mundane at best. He had grown to live with these missions as they were the stepping stones to his future goal and even greater wonders. He did not wish to take on anything higher than this for the moment for when he started to rise, he wished never to stop till the sky itself broke.

But, the task at hand was far from it as the voice of another broke him from thought "Ar' yew dat feller dat's suppos' ta help me?" Lee turned his attention to a man, not nearly as old as he was thinking him to be but was not going to question a mission "I am. Lee Ketsu-" "Nah, don't need yer name. Work. I needs y'all ta till soil for da corn, pick some fruit, make a fence for the cattle ta graze in, chop some firewood and dig a trench for the watering hole. Chop chop, daylight an't forever."

The man turned and walked away, looking to finish work elsewhere he assumed. He turned and looked around and figured that they didn't have to be done in any special order. He held his hands together and four water clones formed quickly at his sides. He wanted to make sure that the job was done before nightfall and the more hands, the more work. But, he had to make sure that the jobs were simple enough to be done without supervision. So, one would make the firewood and the other three would begin to dig. Each task simple and straight forward though it did leave him with enough work to keep himself busy, he would just have to make sure that he kept busy for the day as well.

Fruit picking would be up first, then tilling the soil and by that time, he would hopefully have a clone finished with the firewood to help making the fence. The fruit was simple enough with the aid of a latter, most of it being apples and oranges. He might not be a fan of fresh fruit himself but he had to admit, he wished that he could turn his own tastes toward such things. The majority of them looked ripe and so, he picked them and placed them into the basket he had at his side. He had thought about simply tossing them into the basket whilst it was on the ground but bruising the produce would not bode well with his employer. It was a wonder that such things grew here, the area must be close to the sun and the farmer must really take care of his product.

With the picking out of the way and several barrels full, it was time to move onto the tilling of the soil. There was a tiller and as if on cue, the farmer returned with ox in toe "This here is betty, she's easy ta scare so no funny stuff round her, ya hear?" Lee nodded his head to agree not to try any of this so called 'funny stuff'. The farmer put the tiller onto the ox and after explaining the basics of what needed to be done and how it was to be done, the farmer left once more. Lee placed his hands onto the tiller and began and, as the farmer spoke, it was simple enough, with the help of the massive ox and that the clone that was chopping wood had finished and began to dig holes for the posts to be placed into.

As he finished tilling the soil, Lee was going to start on the fence but found that the water clones that had been digging the trench had finished and were now finishing the fence and with Lee's help, it was done all that faster. The farmer was actually surprised with the work that he had done and that he had done it in such a small amount of time. With the farmers thanks and gratitude, Lee was on his way to collect his reward.
