The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

This oasis, that was previously private to the royal family, is now open to the citizens of Hyougagakure. A path from the oasis was carved to make it more easily accessible through the underground part of the Palace, and that opens up on the surface near the entrance to the Palace. Anyone that needs some meditation or serenity is welcome to venture through this underground path to get to this peaceful oasis that holds the spirits of the Ocean and the Moon. Once in the oasis, a small bridge has been built that connects the path with the small, tropical island in the center.
Possibly one of the best theaters in the world, it is incredibly large with several theaters inside. The theater is supported by upper class Hyouga citizens. It was recently renovated and anyone who comes here almost always seems to comment about how delightful it looks. Besides the amazing looks the plays are always marvelous.
In the base of a mountain is an enormous cave always surrounded by a cool mist. Heating vents inside the cave cause the ice to melt and the water to become the mist inside and outside of the cave. This place is highly dangerous. Some brave ninja come here to train in one of the harshest environments the hidden glacier village has to offer.
Hyougakure's outer wall is the city's thickest layer of protection. The wall is huge. Easily a hundred meters tall and perhaps fifteen meters thick. The wall encircles all of Hyougagakure. It is considered indestructible and is commonly drawn on maps as a terrain feature. It has never been breached. Kazangakure has mounted a continuous assault on the city to little avail. The council mandates that soldiers and sentries be placed on the wall at all times, with many of them even living in built-in homes inside the wall.
This massive stretch of arctic tundra covers most of the surroundings of Hyougagakure area. The treacherous terrain makes it impossible for anyone to live here. Only highly skilled, arctic hunters travel on the terrain, hunting the animals hat live there, and they never stay longer than a few days at a time. Heavy winter blizzards constantly pelt the tundra, and unstable ice sheets often give way under he slightest pressure. Due to the harsh terrain surrounding the village it is a too life risking task for outsiders to enter it.
A vast open plain of ice and freezing cold water that can freeze a man all the way through in mere seconds. The blocks of ice floating around are spotted with dozens of glaciers thousands of years old and multiple stories high, it is beneath these mountains of ice that a demon swims seeking out food.
