Personality: Kotaishi is a laid-back individual and has always been that way since he was little. It is one of his many defining features that makes him the young Chuunin that everyone knows and loves. He takes most jokes with a soft smile and nod and enjoys cracking a few back when in the mood or the time calls for it. He can be seen most of the time reading small novels of adventures or epics poetry, he finds the tales of the old heroes the most interesting as they predict events that humankind tends to repeat. His face is usually positioned in a soft expression of contemplation though, many would mistake this for day dreaming.

Kotaishi is often mistaken for docile or meek, because of his outer appearance and custom of having his head in a book whenever he has free time. This is usually cleared up on the first challenge he receives. Kotaishi was instructed strictly by his father to never allow disrespect to come his way, so every now and than he has to stand up for himself and show the power of the Uchiha clan to those that has forgotten its precious and legendary history. In other words, Kotaishi knows when to get serious and when he does he turns into the Uchiha that he is.

Kotaishi is extremely loyal to his clan. It is for the Uchiha that he had begun his journey as a ninja. He wishes to bring its name back to the forefront of the ninja world. He sees his clan as the strongest, even stronger than the once fabled Senju. He refuses to deny a challenge for that simple reason, if only to spread the name of his clan around the world. Kotaishi protects his clans name vehemently and will approach anyone who bad mouths them.

Likes: Kotaishi enjoys reading a good book, whether its for recreational purposes or training requirements, he's more than happy to open the first page. Another like of his is training, his father as a young age piled the knowledge and training techniques of the Uchiha into his fragile mind and now he finds it somewhat relaxing to do. He finds peace in the meditation and clarity in the vigorous physical strain. Besides that Kotaishi, enjoys laughing, drawing, and taking pictures.

Dislikes: Kotaishi finds bullies utterly disgusting, they're less than scum and more of crap to his eyes. He has a natural dislike for the Senju clan as clan resentments runs deep within his family. His body is naturally attuned to the warm weather of Shippuugakure, so when in cold or windy areas he often caught shivering. And lastly but not least, Kotaishi hates when other badmouth the Uchiha clan. He is more than willing to prove them wrong and anything they have to speak on.

Motivation: His motivations are simply. He wishes only to spread the Uchihas name to the four corners of the world again. He wants them to have the glory they once had and to be none as the greatest. He, himself wants to be the Umikage of Shippuu so that he could announce the clan's rise to power. To a lesser degree he wants to prove to his father that he is the Uchiha that he wants him to be. Even though, its near impossible to the be the perfect Uchiha child.

Fears: He fears that the Uchiha clan will be forgotten by world. That his royal and prestigious clan will never be remembered for there strength and power. The Uchiha clan was the only clan that could stand up to the Senju during their times. And is often known for their great roles in the world's history. Kotaishi is also afraid of disappointing his father, as that man was the main reason for his resolve now.

History: Kotaishi is thought to be a prodigy among his generations Uchiha pups. Which isn't a surprise considering that his father is a famous Anbu known as Kaito Uchiha; formally known as " The Crimson Wave " . He is a Uchiha well verse in the art of ninjutsu and has mastered several jutsus with his copy wheel technique. Many stray clear of him when on missions, because he can be hard to work with. His strategies on the battlefield has led many of his missions too success. His iron-clad will and determination makes him a great leader, if only that held the same results with his son.

Kotaishi was sensitive boy when he was younger, he could barely take the harsh conditions that came with being an Uchiha. He was expected to be a notch or two above the regular ninjas' of Shippuugakure. It was this belief that is father tried to pound into the boy, but all he did was effectively drive him deeper into seclusion.

It was his mother Asuna Uchiha, medical ninja of the storm that inspired him and got him out of his odd ways. She spoke on a softer, more loving level than the father could, and explained to him the importance of being a ninja and carrying on the Uchiha name. After that she would sit out and watch him practice with his father; this in a way provoked him to drive further into his abilities and vehemently pursue any quest or training his father sent his way. This in time proved to be especially helpful as it molded him into a child prodigy.

Kotaishi graduated from the academy at the top of his class at the age of nine. He was considered to be a prodigy but never really cared for such a title. Afterwards he was placed in a team residing of three other ninjas and his captain Yukimura sensei. The small group went on several missions together, this is where Kotaishi's personality really started to come out. It was obvious that he was very protected over his comrades and would gladly let the mission go if it was between one of the two. Other than that though he was very persistent in his goals and missions, wanting to finish them even if it was decided a failure. His feverish pursuit of his enemies and beliefs is what describes him on the battlefield and made him a noticeable ninja in the village of Shippuukagure.

Three years later, Kotaishi took part in the Chuunin exams and along with others battled to gain the title. Even though his reputation had been one of high regard, even Kotaishi found himself tired after the second exam and wishing to be done with it all. The third exam brought physical bouts something that he was more use to than problem solving and sneaky strategies.

Kotaishi survived to the semi-finals of the tournament his strength well recognized by many and he has become a . Until he was met with a equally genius genin from Kusamuragakure. The two fought fiercely and desperately against each other and oddly enough Kotaishi hadn't felt pressured or tense as he thought he would. Instead he felt relieved, possibly joyous. The fight was one that filled him with excitement and spirit, one that was jaw-dropping at the least and caused many to choose sides. In the end the Kusamura genin had won but only by a finger ( literally) They both had collapsed but he had enough strength to raise his index finger and Kotaishi didn't. When the Umikage had finally announced the winner both Kotaishi's and the genin's were called, along side another that he hadn't taken the time to remember. Now that he's a Chuunin he can't wait to get to doing higher ranking missions.
