Personality: Ray remains to be a very serious, albeit good-natured boy. He holds honor in high conduct, believing that honorable opponents are the best anyone could ask for. He holds his clan in high regard, assaulting anyone who would speak bad about it to him. Ray appears to be a very friendly and nice person,but still giving off a distinctly cold aura in the form of "anti-social" mannerisms and the possibility of having a strong form of jutsu,thus,usually making people feel uncomfortable around him. He also has some weird afflictions, liking powerful things and violent techniques. He finds himself at ease more at night, so he seems very withdrawn in the morning.

Likes: Ray likes animals,especially dogs. He believes in honor,and thus likes people which would not cheat,and would fight with honor. He also likes darkness. Ray also has shown an affection towards powerful jutsus,and weapons. This stems from the fact that almost every single ninja strives to have a very powerful jutsu. He has also shown a growing affection with 'evil' things, such as dark backdrops, the night, and such. He also loves animals, especially dogs and lions, whom he shares a special bond with. Ray also likes to be praised, or do his duty well, which will ensure his work to get better.

Dislikes: Ray dislikes very sunny days,people who insult his clan, and cheating opponents,whom he considers as immoral beings. This hatred for such people started due to Ray's father, who always used to tell him that such opponents were the scum of the earth. Ray did believe whatever his father told him, and thus looks upon such opponents with disgust. He hates the color white, and any area with a lot of light, as he finds it to be very useless to hide against. He also dislikes people who lie, as lies create many problems for the world. He doesn't like being lazy or sitting without work, thus many people call him a workaholic. He also doesn't like people who put down other people for their own success.

Motivation: Ray's one true motivation towards becoming a stronger ninja is avenging his father's death,by finding out and killing those who were responsible. This stems from a very old clan trait, which fills the heart of each clan member with vengeance and revenge. Ray wants to do his father justice by avenging those who killed his father in cold blood, but to do so, he would need to be stronger, therefore he is motivated to one of the highest possible levels. He also wants others to respect him and his clan. Also, one of the most motivating things is his unwavering sense of duty, that he must protect the kage no matter what. This drives him to work harder than he ever has before, to be good enough to be able to protect the most important shinobi in the village.

Fears: Ray is afraid of spiders,as he has arachnophobia. He is also afraid of being lonely and having no friends. Also, he is afraid of not fulfilling his promise to his father, of avenging his father's death. This fear has prompted him to push himself to do better, always. His fear of loneliness is due to the psychological trauma inflicted by his father's death, making him think that he was lonely, and thus needs his friends to remove that feeling. Another one of his fears is failing in his duty, which would mean fatal harm to the kage, as his duty is to protect the kage. He also fears enemies which are a direct threat to the kage, but will cast aside that fear to protect the kage.



Bloodline Name: Explosion Release: Choy-Li Fist

Bloodline Ability: In the past Explosion release was a relatively widespread Kekkei Genkai. It is the ability to use earth/advanced nature chakra to create explosive offensive techniques. The Kesu clan specializes in the combination of short range Explosive jutsu’s and their own unique Taijutsu style. When a clan member with the blood line ability is born, they are made to master the Kesu‘s Choy-Li Taijustsu before learning how to control the close quarters Explosion Release techniques.

Location: Boufuu

Clan History: In the days gone by, the kekkei genkai Explosion release was relatively widespread; there were several lineages capable of using said Explosive techniques. However through time and the hardships of life, many lineages became obsolete. The origin of the Kesu clan comes from the amalgamation of two separate lineages. In the outskirts of Boufuugakure there existed a small and relatively unimportant Clan of taijutsu practitioners, who from an early age were trained in the Choy-Li style, a mixture of hard and soft techniques. Though not a large clan, their style had been acquired through centuries of battles and competitions with other taijutsu practicing clans, giving the Choy-Li style a very strong and honed finish. The other lineage were a clan of nomadic shinobi, years of travelling and disease had decimated their clan, almost eradicating their kekkei genkai (Nature transformation: Explosion release), they settled in the Heat country, not knowing they were far from Boufuugakure or the Choy-Li clan.

The two clans unison was not recorded in any of the Kesu records how it occurred, and it has been often rumored a story made to romanticize the clans history; a young man of the Nomadic people had fallen in love with the chief heiress to the Choy-Li clan. Both had kept this secret from their representative clans, in fear of persecution. However when the heiress became pregnant their love could no-longer be hidden.

The Choy-Li’s headmaster, the heiress’s farther, while hard spirited and rigid in his ways could not help his compassion when he saw the newborn child. The child served as a symbol of unity with the now combined nomadic and Choy-Li clans. As the child grew he was taught both clans lineages of techniques, during his final days of training the now teen prodigy combined a Explosive jutsu with one of the Choy-Li’s taijutsu attacks, the compatibility of the techniques shocked everyone there. The Boy was named Atamanoiiko (Bright child), as time passed and he garnered experience Atamanoiiko was chosen as the new head of the united clans. Upon his appointment declared the disbandment of the clans, in order for a new clan to rise; the new clan was named Kesu, which meant “to improve”.

The Kesu clan remained small and unimportant, and through the centuries it devoted itself to furthering Atamanoiiko’s techniques and style. The explosion release bloodline had no specific requirements for passing down generations, only that the parents bared the Kekkei Genkai before them.

The virtue of the Kesu clan remains as strong as ever, the clan still aims to maintain its stoic and self preservation like nature. As such despite the clans relatively powerful techniques and martial prowess, they are not regarded as an important clan within Boufuugakure.
The clans primary heir Furen Kesu firmly believes in increasin the Kesu's involvement within Bofuu. Perhaps the time has come for Kesu to rise up and aid their village, whatever fate holds for them, it is certain that the clan will be affected with what is to come.




History: Being part of a hidden clan was never easy. Even though the clan was based in Boufuu, it's members were never known by the general public. Sure, from time to time people would speak about the clan, but nobody, except the kage, knew who it's members were. And being the son of the clan's head, a genius in his own right, was all the more tougher. Expectations would always linger upon Ray, no matter how good he was. And these expectations would not only come from his father, but from the other clan members and the kage as well. Ray was always looked down upon, and was told that no matter how hard he tried, he would never come out of his father's shadow.Only his dad would put faith in him, and train him, no matter what.

One day, Ray's father told him that he would be gone, to fight the new band of missing ninjas wreaking havoc on the surrounding areas. He told Ray to believe in himself, and keep on training. And Ray did exactly that. He trained for days at end, only resting when his mother would compel him to do so. Even though he trained so much, the other clan members still saw him as unfit for being the next heir to the leader's position. After all, only the best of the clan should go forth, shouldn't they?

Then, the accident happened. Ray went home one day, from a particularly hard day of training, to find out that his mother was lying on the floor, a pool of blood surrounding her. The blood seemed to come from her neck, which upon closer investigation revealed that it had been slashed. There was a sign on the wall, a sign of the leading criminal organizations. They had targeted his mother due to her being the wife of the head of the Kesu clan. Ray fell down on his knees, letting out a feral cry which alerted all the clan members. Ray had stopped talking to everyone, even after a whole 2 months after his mother's demise. He would just train, all day long, going weeks without food. And then, once in three weeks, he would have food, just so he wouldn't die. The clan members, were surprisingly concerned about Ray's well being, although they didn't show it to him. They were under strict orders to alienate Ray, so that he may turn out to be stronger than what he was before, unlocking his potential. Ray continued training, keeping mum throughout the span of his training.

One day, while training, Ray noticed that all of the clan members were around him. Ray turned to them, acknowledging their presence for the first time in five months. In hushed voices, they told him about his father's demise, brought on by the same organization which killed his mother. Ray couldn't believe it, his family was...gone. He fell down to his knees, and a single tear rolled down his cheek. The other clan members further put forth that he would have to fight the next best candidate for the position of Leader, his own cousin, Shoryuu. The fight began, with Ray still in an emotionally unstable state. Shoryuu seemed to be frightened, there seemed to be something wrong in Ray's eyes. They were red, and glowing. Ray unleashed a flurry of attacks on his cousin, all of them with the savagery of a feral beast. His cousin managed to block some of them, and countered, angering Ray further. Ray had gone completely beserk now, his mind now giving in to instinct. Shoryuu blocked some more attacks, however, one hit him directly over the heart, causing him to forfeit the match. However, Ray made his decision that his cousin would be the acting head of the clan, while Ray trained and became good enough to continue that legacy.

Ray then embarked on his journey in the world, beginning in his home village, Boufuu.

Ray cursed softly, his footsteps were making a lot of noise on the wet trees as he followed a man walking his route. The man was a supposed leader of a small time crime organization, and Ray's assignment was to show him that such a business wouldn't be allowed in Suna. It hadn't been much time since Ray had begun to work for Suna, he had done so because his father would always say that the village came before everything. Ray readied his sai, as he saw that the man was coming to a rest, his footsteps were slowing down. He assumed a position on a branch, and looked down at the man. He was about 6' 3", well built, and seemed like the type of person who wouldn't care about any implementation of law in the world. No wonder Ray had been chosen to make this guy understand, after all, Ray's methods were a bit different. Ray circled an Explosive Tag around his sai, and taking careful aim, chucked it near the man, causing a small smoke explosion. Ray jumped down into the explosion, arriving with style. The man broke into a smile.

"We have been waiting a long time for you, Suna-nin. Time for you to realize that we are not a small organization to be played with'.

Seven people came from behind the man, all wielding swords imbued with an element. Ray smiled, they had him underestimated. Doing three hand signs in front of him, he said softly,"Kokugan, Activate.". His eyes turned blue, with black pinwheel markings over them. He felt his muscles tense, as now he could move faster. Taking out a kunai, Ray smiled, before vanishing to the naked eye. Seven distinctive slashes could be heard, as one by one the seven people dropped to the ground, all painting the muddy floor with their blood. Ray then moved fast, kicking the man in the face, toppling him. He kept the kunai close to the man's throat, saying sharply,"It was a big mistake, calling those goons onto me. You should've thought before doing anything. Now rest in peace". A scream could be heard throughout the forest as Ray started cutting the man's throat, finishing it in a matter of seconds. Ray's kokugan deactivated, as he got up, a serious expression on his face again. He needed to know who the killers were.
