It was after noon when Isais decided to wake up from his sleep. He spent most of the night before tossing and turning, being tormented by his own thoughts. He has killed many in the past but that night seem to be the night where it all just caught up with him. That was the night that followed the day he killed the intruder of Tsukigakure.  Isais would rise out of bed as his bare feet would hit the cold floors of his room. Instead of brushing his teeth and grooming himself as he usually does when he wakes up, he would walk the cold halls of his palace. He hung his head low, deep in thought as he slowly made his way to the frozen chambers of the palace. This chamber was built by Tenzou himself as a means of preserving the bodies of his victims or lost relatives.  There was where Isais had kept Semasu’s body for preservation. As he stood on the outside looking in the floor would get noticeably colder for him as he would flinch at the sharp, freezing sensation that would rush through his nerves.  He would place his hands on the door as the blue light coming from the room’s window would shine down the dark hall. Isais would not crack the door open rather he would replay the moment of Semasu’s death in his head.  Why was this bothering him so much? He figures the difference between this one and the ones in the past is that with this one, he is left with many decisions to make. Decisions that frankly won’t have a right or wrong answer to, but as a leader the aim is to always be wise rather than to be right.

He holds still and he thinks, “Young lady, dark hair, Ranjuko clan, member of Tsukigakure. Was this a planned assault? If this ninja was on a mission, then what was it to do?” Isais would push the door open and walk right in to stare at the frozen body before him.  He would speak gently, “Now what am I to do with you? Should I keep you, or let you go? What was your purpose?” Isais would fall quiet as he would shift his eyes towards the shadows behind him and speak a command, “Go and get me the Fubukikage and if you can, members of the organization that I’ve established the night before. Get me the members of The Machine. We will have our meeting here and then we’ll know wither or not this body will ever be in the possession of Tsukigakure, again.”

Xavier would be resting his chair within the office of the fubukikage, as was is title. He was staring out the window and letting his mind wonder about, neglecting the paperwork that he had previously been working on. He couldn't help but find time to let his imagination find time to do whatever it pleased. He would collect himself and release a stiff yawn and proceed back to work. He would pick up a file labeled "clan hierarchy and bloodline updates". He would flip it open and skim over the contents. It seemed to be information sent in from the clans residing within Hyougagakure, keeping the kage up to date on how things were going in the clan and if any new additions were added to the family tree. He sifted through it until he landed upon his own clan, the Deventris. He read over the report briefly and sighed lightly before returning the contents to the folder and filing it away. He would stand up and stretch, pushing the chair out of the way as he did so. He would walk over to one of the windows and open it up, letting a chill breeze find its way into the room. It was quite a relaxing feeling. "All this paper work is making me old I swear" he would chuckle slightly in response to his own comment. He had been so coped up lately, attempting to catch up on paperwork that had been unattended to sense Isais' rise to the throne, that he had little time to go out and socialize... Not that he knew many people anyway. He would shrug the thought away, nothing he could really do about it he was a kage after all.

He would return to his chair and would set his focus back to the work on his desk. As he did so a knock could be heard from outside his door "Enter". One lone ANBU member would enter his office before taking a knee in front of him and Xavier would speak once the door closed behind him "What is?" he would continue going the paperwork but he would be listening intently as the ANBU would speak. "Sir. The Emperor has requested your presence at the Palace, I am to escort you there" he would fall silent after saying this awaiting a response from Xavier. He would release yet another sigh before rising from his chair again and grabbing his hat from its stand. Signaling for the ANBU to rise he would speak to him "lead the way" he would nod his acceptance before leaping out the window onto a near by rooftop. Xavier would look back to his paperwork, he should really hire someone to help him with that nonsense but that was a situation to be dealt with on another day. He would climb out the window himself, not being one for the theatrics, and close it behind him. Following after the ANBU for some minutes they would arrive at the Palace. They walked through the multiple corridors that made up the interior of the structure, it truly was a sight to behold. They soon reached a singular long corridor with a door at the end of it, it was opened as far as Xavier could see. The ANBU would turn and bow "The Emperor is within" and he was gone. Xavier walked down the hall with a bit of a pep in his step as he crossed the threshold into the cold room. He spotted Isais standing in front of a frozen figure. He would approach him, examining the room as he did so. "You never told me you had your own freezer, and for people no less. That's kind of weird dontcha think?" he was kidding ofcourse, there were multiple secrets about Hyougagakure that he knew nothing about but that wouldn't stop him from teasing his best friend, even if he was the Emperor of the country. "So what's up? What's this all about?" he would remain quiet as he waited for Isais to respond.
