Auron sat in a small building on the edge of Tsuki. It was a moderately comfortable setting, accompanied with a desk at the far end. The walls were a very tranquil blue with a picture of Tsukigakure's symbol set in a golden frame on the wall behind the desk. He sat in front of the desk, his arms limp against the stool. He was calm and composed, pleasantly thinking of what he was going to have for lunch.

The next moment, an old man walked through the door that was set in the back and to the left of the desk. The older man approached the desk without a word and gingerly pulled the chair out before sitting down.

'Hm.' He muttered.

Auron looked him in the eyes and began speaking in a polite tone. 'Thank you for taking the time to meet with me.' Auron courteously extended a hand for him to shake. The older man grasped his hand firmly and shook.

'It is my pleasure. This will be a brief meeting so there will be little need for formalities.' The man got out a stack of papers, placed them on his desk, and took out a pair of reading glasses. Auron would never have said out loud, but he very much felt like he was attending a doctor's appointment for some kind of malady. The man looked very clean, smelt like he'd overdone it on the cologne, and was wearing a very casual elder's outfit. Auron waited the brief moment before he was done reading

'Now than, the reason I have called you here today Auron is that you have been nominated by the council of elders for a promotion to Jonin ninja of the village of Tsukigakure.' he said. 'We have reviewed your mission history and it is our judgement that the skills you have displayed meet the established criteria that we look for in esteemed elite jonin ninja. However, due to your age and your past within the village, we shall be keeping an eye on your next few missions to be sure that you will continue to meet our standards.'

'Do you Auron Hinamura agree to adhere to the established protocols that have been henceforth handed down by we the council of elders. Do you agree to serve the village to the best of your abilities and to abide by all laws and regulations of the Jonin code of conduct?'

Auron held a moment after the man was finished to begin speaking, 'I do sir.' He walked to the desk and signed the paper that the man offered to him.

'From this day forth, you are henceforth to be considered a Preliminary Jonin of Tsukigakure. There will be a review of your performance in 3 months that will determine your status for full Jonin Rank. You will receive your Jonin vest and attire tomorrow and you are to report for your first B-Ranked mission. That is all. Meeting adjourned.'

The two of them parted from their seats and Auron walked out the door. A happy feeling welled up within his stomach as he was finally one of the recognized elite ninja within Tsukigakure. It wasn't the end however. He still had several things he needed to do, but now was a good day.

He walked into the open, looking from a hill upon the village. He smiled joyously and began to jump over the rooftops.
