The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

- Shy: He is a very shy individual, excessively shy would be a bit more appropriate. Even with those who belong to his own village; his peers; comrades and superiors, he takes his time to get used to them. If he’s used to them he’s still reserved and is blushing most of them time. With strangers, multiply his shyness with a million. Usually he’d be hiding behind someone or something if he’s confronted with people he doesn’t know. If he can’t hide then he’d be at least hiding his face or keeping his eyes closed, if he can’t close his eyes then he’ll constantly look down. With the opposite gender, it’s a whole new level. His face is red all the time, he’s nervous the whole time and he begins to stutter as well. That all happens before he’s had any physical contact with a woman, if somehow physical contact happens: even a mere touch; he has a high probability of fainting.
- Optimistic & Strong Willed: Never does he lose hope, even in the darkest of hours. Even though his shy nature clearly contradicts it but he has a very strong will. He never gives up and keeps on struggling believing that in the end everything will turn out okay. As long as he keeps on trying and keeps giving it his all, there’s nothing that can’t be done. A practical living example of the phrase: “all’s well that ends well”. It may even appear that he’s naïve enough to not grasp the reality but he does and he keeps on believing. What he doesn’t believe in, is the concept of impossibility.
- Kindhearted & Gentle: He is kind even to those who are mean to him and have evil intent to him. It may be right to say that he doesn’t have it in him to take a life. He has the passion and will to save one and has the gentleness to protect and cherish it. His demeanor towards those who are weaker than him is very gentle and kind. He never shouts nor does he speak in a loud manner, ever. Normally he wears a warm and welcoming smile on his face. He’s the kind of person who would listen to all your worries and when you’re done talking to him you’ll find yourself truly relieved.
- Caring & Loving: He cherishes life, not just his own but everyone else’s as well. The smallest of flower, the weakest of people, all are important and worth caring for. Everything has a reason to exist and thus deserves to be cared for and has a right to love and be loved: that’s how he perceives things.
Quirks: Meiyo is a quirky character, he has not one but quite a few of them. One of his noticeable habits is apologizing for almost anything and everything. So the most frequent thing you'll hear from him is "Gomen na sai". The other thing is the use of honorifics, he uses them excessively. He even refers to inanimate objects respectfully. For example: "tree-san", "ground-sama" and the likes. So if he's talking to his enemy, he'll obviously refer to him/her with an honorific.
Likes:
- Flowers: Loves flowers, all kinds of them. Cherishes their color, scent and their weak little bodies. - Cats: From his eyes, cats are majestic and beautiful creatures that are as gentle as himself. - Gentle and Respectful people: He respects people and has a very gentle personality, so he’s attracted to people like himself. - Admires people of strength: He doesn’t consider himself that strong and thus he admires those who are noted for their strength. - Just & Strong Willed: People who live their way by doing right and standing up for the rights of others, he always admires such people.
Dislikes:
- Battles/fights/violence: Even though he’s a shinobi, he doesn’t like to get into a fight and won’t until and unless he has no other option. - Dominant and pushy people: He is shy and submissive but people who are overly pushy and dominant are just mean and rude in his opinion. - Loud sounds/ noises: Neither does he make any loud noises nor does he like them - Evil doers: People who have evil intentions towards others or intend to cause others harm, he hates them.
Motivation: He wishes to learn more about his clan: history; origin; abilities and everything. Being aware of the strength that has been bestowed upon him because of his clan, he wishes to fulfill the responsibilities that came with it.
Fears:
- Loneliness: Being alone is a fear that sends shivers down his spine, he can’t fathom being alone. - Snakes: The hissing sound of a snake makes him shiver and the sight of one can most likely make him faint. If he doesn’t faint then he’ll most likely run from the situation. Some situations though just can’t be avoided, in which case he’ll avoid the snake as much as he can.

Bloodline Name: Meikai no shugo-sha (Guardians of the Netherworld)
Bloodline Ability: Members of this clan are half-phantom and half-human. Although this is true, it also caused their Chakra pool to be completely removed from their body and deposited at a mysterious orb-like spirit of varying colour. The spirit orb can only be seen only by the members of the clan or someone who has seen death happen in front of their eyes. They have a very high level of concentration.
Genin, Chuunin: During this level, they have to concentrate and absorb chakra from their spirit half. This makes it quite troublesome for those who want to be quick on their toes in battle. Although, they can use E~C rank jutsu’s with ease.
Sp. Jounin, Jounin, S-rank: During this level, jutsu’s ranging from A~S rank will backfire on the caster if it involves chakra but to counter this disability members of the clan are able to merge with their spirit half for only 15 posts. Thus, letting them access Jutsu’s from A~S rank. Note that if the jutsu involves absorbing chakra from ones spirit half, it would require two posts for A~S rank unless stated. This can be used once per topic.

Virtues: Chastity – Increases jutsu damage by two fold. Temperance – Dispels Genjutsu every two posts. Kindness – Heals the user passively but at a small amount. Charity – Has the ability to sap your life in return for an increase in power Diligence – Able to continue a battle after being landed a critical hit Patience – Increased focus, insight, foresight and senses. Humility – Does not feel fear or pain when used.
Vice: Lust – Has the ability to sap life from the opponent to heal yourself. Gluttony – Loves to drink blood, the more blood, the more power. Envy – Has the ability to copy the shape and effects of other weapons but its strength is 80% of the original. Greed – The more Ryo one has in hand, the more powerful the weapon Sloth – The being of slowness can have a very slow movement but very high damage output Wrath – Increase all stats by two times but at a cost of your sanity Pride – Being as pride, it does not like other chakra except for its owner, thus it will push aside all other chakra.

Clan History: Long ago, war broke out. Countless lives lost in the blood stained grounds, bodies rotting, souls left unrest. Scarlet flames swirl in wake, devouring anything in its path. Merciless. Unforgiving. It comes after each battle. It’s fate? To cleanse! It’s desire? To give peace to those who have passed on.
In truth the clan was just scattered bits of nomadic people. They have no intension nor relation to what happened to the outside world. They preferred to throw everything not normal to them and live in peace as they travelled from place to place, gaining knowledge on much of the geography of the world, not to mention some well hidden ancient temples, shires and hideouts. They also have wide knowledge over many rumours, myths and legends that held were around at that time.
Among every mystery, one of them stood out the most. The legend of the temple of judgement, Tamashī no handan. Although, none of the seven members founding members of the clan went there as of yet, the legend spread like a virus, unrelenting, ever putting people in a trance state of desire. Everyone thought it was salvation and eternal bliss that will be found inside but the clan founders stayed away, fearful that the corruption will get to them.
Alas, they couldn’t escape the fate that which the temple already predicted. Soon, all of the ten leaders and their families meet at the temple. The famed mystery of the temple of black and white. One side it was rotting with darkness, malice and sin, the other with pureness, clarity and virtue. Stunning it was, but something or someone stood out. A certain elderly caretaker, stood to greet them. Unknowingly, their life had already been changed when they first came to know about the temple.
Time passed and each of the founding members changed, their families were told to wait for them far away, at the nearby river they all meet. Soon a ritual started, the caretaker revealed to be an immortal lady named Shikieiki Yamaxanadu, her job to get people to help her judge the living and send souls to their final resting place. She granted each of them a power they will never forget. Separate souls representing seven colours, their heirs having the colours of their respecting souls and weapons each depicting a vice and a virtue. Their goal was simple; to help people leave behind regrets and finally leave the world in peace.
Shocked by their predicament, each of them went down the path and the only way to move on was forward, but slowly, each member found themselves ever tied to this path. Unable to run away. “The truth is that peace is always within..” Shikieiki said before the seven founding members left the temple and it will forever stay the same as time goes on for eternity.

Born in a family of wandering nomads, he was always clinging to his mother. His parents were pretty old when they had him, the only child the two ever had. The family was always moving with a caravan, the caravan moved from village to village trading. His parents were both former shinobi but had abandoned their ways and lived a more peaceful and quiet life. It was for his twelfth birthday that he received the two weapons. He was far too young to know what they were or what was their use but he was curious. His parents had gotten old enough, life wouldn’t be loyal to them for much longer. So they told Meiyo every little detail they knew about the clan’s origin. However, it wasn’t much and really didn’t tell satisfy his curiosity.
The next year he pestered his parents so much that they allowed him to travel on a different path then theirs. Even though he was never taught, he still was able to tap into chakra and use some jutsu. He was a natural shinobi, both his parents had sensed it. For the next year, just so he could protect himself, he was taught how to use jutsu and perform various simple jutsus. The weapons were complex for him to understand but he was given knowledge about them, regardless. He was taught the very basics, what a normal child would begin to learn in the academy. Some time his mother would teach him and some time his father did, both were skilled in ninjutsu and bukijutsu. Neither of them were harsh on him, they were both loving and caring. Being a natural at molding chakra, he didn’t give them much reason to be harsh either.
At the age of thirteen, when the caravan arrived at Shipuugakure he parted from his parents. By then he had learned the jutsu that were taught in the academy and was now equivalent to a genin. Sad about going a separate path from his parents but happy and looking forward to what the world held for him. This is where his new journey begins.

From his first impression he deducted the girl to be more mature than others of her age. Actually she felt like a more mature shinobi, due to the fact that she hadn’t just bluntly attacked him when he stated that he wasn’t from the village. Some shinobi would consider it an attempt to steal the village’s secrets and thus would attack first and ask questions later. This shinobi was calm in her approach and heard what Kakusa had to say. Even though he was a devilish fiends with mostly evil things going through his mind, this time he had no intention of doing something of the sort. He merely wanted information, data and knowledge about clans and the jutsu of the village’s founder. Of course after attaining that information the evil things would begin to form in his mind.
Due to the fact that he wanted to keep his identity hidden, he had decided not to take along anything suspicious. So in his large bag, all that he had was clothes, some bottles for samples and a notebook that would contain his data; not intentions, only data. If in case he encountered someone who preferred a more direct approach and he had to leave the bag behind, it would give no clue of his identity. Even though the way he fought he did require a bunch of tools but so far he had been doing okay without them. So this journey would prove to be a test for his deceptions skills and if the situation demanded it, it might even test his fighting skills.
Her next question was in accordance to Kakusa’s perception of her, indeed she was a mature one. Kakusa nodded , ”Very true but I can only establish my ‘real truth’ once I have the facts and figures. You see, I can only rely on precise and accurate data, only then do I reduce it to what I can call the ‘real truth’.” He wondered for a moment what purpose would that question serve her? was she trying to make sure he was who he was? Or was she merely interested and wanted to question someone from his line of work. Regardless, he chose his words wisely and it should be enough to both answer her question and damper her doubts about him.
Due to his history, Kakusa wasn’t one to notice but if he was he would notice that the girl dressed a bit ‘inappropriately’. He hadn’t once felt anything about the opposite gender, the only person he felt attached, to was now dead and the one who killed her was him. Ever since then he had devoted his skills to himself even more. That is why he didn’t even look at her body and only looked at her face, the whole time.
Her words were a bit alarming, especially the “detrimental” part. Could it be that she was suspecting him to be someone who could cause harm if he wanted to? If that was the case then it meant that his disguise had failed. However, it was too early to jump to that conclusion, he could still sway her by his words and actions. All he needed to do was be more careful from here on so her thoughts could be diverted. ”A genin would know a lot more than an outsider, no? I merely wish to gain knowledge. The ability to mold chakra and the various implications that come along with it, this has always fascinated me. More ever, the clans with unique abilities are even more interesting since they can do a lot more than what a normal shinobi can accomplish. So, whatever you will tell me, I’m sure it’ll be of great importance to me”.
Kakusa glance followed the direction where she pointed and he listened to her tell him about some useless graves. He didn’t care who was lying there and why they were there. Sure, even the dead body of a shinobi can provide a lot of useful information but a dead body in a graveyard? It’s highly unlikely that it would contain any. Otherwise it would have been hidden and secured. ”Grave robbers have no soul, the disrespectful sin they commit by digging up the dead, that is just unforgiveable.” Kakusa tightened his fist as he muttered those words so as to appear extremely frustrated. This was another attempt at deceiving the Uchiha genin, he wanted her to think of him as a kind and noble researcher. Only after gaining her trust would he be able to attain some useful information.
”Based on your explanation, it appears to me that the Uchiha clan has accomplished great things in the past. That really peeks my interest but the fact that you mentioned the word ‘taboo’ means that there are some forbidden secrets. I’m not sure if an elder of the village would appreciate me asking about the clan. I suppose the respectful way to deal with this would be to not ask at all”. He had noticed that the girl loved her clan and had a certain feeling of pride for being an Uchiha. Only by showing his respect to the clan would he be able to gain her trust and that’s what he was doing. ”It’s already gotten dark, would you be kind enough to lead me to an inn where I could stay for the night? I’ve been travelling for a few days and would like to rest.” He asked from her but his eyes kept staring around the graveyard, the luminous surroundings were indeed captivating.
