Village News
The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Name: Tenjin
Canon/Custom:Custom
Rank:S
Type:Offensive
Element:Onmyoton
Range:Close Range
Specialty:Genjutsu
Duration:Until the story is completed.
Cooldown: 1 per month
Description: This jutsu is caused by any conventional ways in which to trap someone in a genjutsu: such as their 5 basic senses. The jutsu is utilized in both Genjutsu and the physical manifestation through the Onmyoton element. The user creates an intricate story that entraps the foe(s) in the epic dialogue and must complete the three chapters to escape the jutsu. In the genjutsu, the foe(s) must complete three chapters with a boss at each end of the chapter to escape the Genjutsu. Any NPC or pre-determined "dying" character(such as a member decides the character will die in the thread) will be subject to the hidden chapter, the Epilogue: this Epilogue is an instant death.
The creator of this jutsu narrates the story and cannot be seen or touched in either genjutsu or physical version of this jutsu. In reality, the creator accomplishes this story by separating the affected area of the story by a barrier erected at the start of the jutsu. This barrier is the same rank of the jutsu and can only be seen by someone with a chakra sensing doujutsu and can only be broken by someone with another S Rank jutsu. Breaking the barrier does not dispel the physical manifestation, but makes anyone who wanders into the affected area subject to the story.
Chapter 1:
Chapter 2:
Chapter 3:
Epilogue:

Reality:

Limitations:This jutsu can only be used once a month IRL & leaves Sheffield in a severe physical and mental state. She loses her memories for 4 days and cannot remember who she is, the jutsu causes a sickness akin to a serious concusion and leaves her unable to use jutsu or battle for the whole month while she is recovering. This jutsu costs 125 chakra to cast.

Setting

Sheffield stomped her foot in the sand, a small sand cloud kicked up nd was carried away by a whirling wind that stretched across the desert area. The wind current took the sand cloud and turned it into a dust devil as it travelled away from where Sheffield had stomped in the sand. Several other peculiar scenes did the same around her, the wind hit this sandy desert pretty hard on a daily basis because there were no mountains or tree lines to provide a windbreak. Some months the sand would be on the majority of the left side of the desert and sometimes the majority would be on the right. It all just depended really, the wind was a wild and free thing, not able to be controlled by for brief instances where a shinobi expressed their willpower over the wind with some Fuuton jutsu.

This was a desolate place with no vegetation, no life and no water. Sheffield had brought her own water in the form of a large leather patch, in-lined with a plastic bag which held her large amount of water and kept it cool. She was planning to be here for a few days while she trained and she had stocked up on food as well, the food was stored beneath the cooled water to keep it from being ruined by the heat o the desert. Mostly it was just nourishment, easily packable stuff and ready to eat. Nothing cookable or immediately perishable. She wasn't here to enjoy food, the scenery or to relax, she was prepared to train to her heart and mind's content until she could successfully finish the jutsu she had been working on for a long time.

She had spent three weeks in advance resting, hydrating and preparing for the trip out here to this forsaken desert. She made sure her pupil, Yuri Onmyoton would be okay while she was gone for a few days and then she had sent a message to a friend, VIA a Genjutsu.

Now she was here and exactly at the time she had told her friend to meet her here, it was difficult to know exactly where "here" was and her friend was just as likely to get lost thinking he was in the right spot, just as much as she could be lost and think she was in the right spot. She was fairly certain though, so she unloaded her pack and began to set up camp. There was no shade here, so she would have to make some, fortunately she had brought a tent, a couple chairs and a shovel.

She set about, setting up the camp as she waited for her old friend to arrive, she roamed about the immediate area until she found a flat and solid section of sand. She took the shovel and began to dig, she dug for several hours and drank water often to replenish the moisture her body had lost from the brutal heat. She kept digging and didn't stop until she had dug a good six feet below the surface of the sand and into the solid dirt beneath. Patches of the sand had fallen don into her hole and she threw it out and widened the hole enough to the point where the sand wasn't near the hole.

She pulled out the tend and set it up, then proceeded to stake the pegs and poles into the sides of the dirt hole. She set the tent up just at ground level and set the roof to overlap the upper section of the immediate area. Thus creating a shaded section where she could relax above ground as well as a sleeping place below ground. Below ground was much cooler than above ground, so she stored all the supplies beneath the tent and returned topside to rest in the shade and contemplate on the best way to start training the jutsu as she waited for her friend to arrive. She sat in a chair and watched the distant sandy horizon, she had sent the message to a man through her Genjutsu that allowed her to travel in people's minds during a Genjutsu, daydreaming or even sleep. Hopefully he had caught the importance of the message in the dream and understood it was more than a dream.

He was a talented shinobi, with a rank far above the average ninjas. She needed his expertise and intellect to help her with this special genjutsu. This Genjutsu would be like no other, unrivaled and truly feared.

{WIP}Legend of Tenjin Empty
PostSubject: Re: {WIP}Legend of Tenjin   {WIP}Legend of Tenjin EmptySat Jul 05, 2014 5:36 pm

It had started as a night like any other, no different from the countless others prior to itself, and of little importance on its own. Or so it seemed at the time, though soon that view would be altered forever. For this night Andeddo would have a visitor in his dreams, disturbing his otherwise peaceful night. This would set his course for the inhospitable wastelands he now found himself traversing. He knew why she had chosen him specifically, knowing without a doubt he would answer the call, irregardless of the circumstances. A problem he had, worse whenever the person asking for the favour was female. And She bloody well knew that too.

So Andeddo had dragged himself out to this place, with actually very little detail as to why, only knowing that Sheffield thought it was important. And of course, that was more than enough of a reason for Andeddo. So here he was, wandering through a lifeless dessert, looking for literally one person amidst a sea of sand, following her directions to the best of his ability, which meant little out in this featureless place. And of course she had given him a specific timetable to keep. He scoffed at the idea, a scarf wrapped around the lower portion of his face to keep the blowing sand out of his mouth. Time became meaningless out here, where nothing changed but the direction of the ceaseless wind.

It didn't matter, he was already out in this decrepit landscape, and he would find her, and see what this was all about. It was only a matter of time. He chuckled at the thought, considering his thought not moments prior. The man continued his trek through the featureless expanse of sand. He knew vaguely what he was looking for, being of course Sheffield herself, who had called him out here to begin with. And assuming she had beaten him out here, which she most likely would have, he was keeping an eye out for any shelter she would have made. He pulled a waterskin from beneath the loose fitting shirt he wore, and took a deep swig from the unfortunately warm water. He replaced the cap and hid it once more beneath his clothing.

The man rested his hand on the hilt of his sword, and he ascended a sand dune, cupping his other hand around his eyes, scanning the area ahead of himself for any signs of life. A small abnormality ahead gave the Seinin a glimpse of hope, thinking he finally found Sheffield's camp. Though due to the type of terrain, and the lack of any features he couldn't even guess how far ahead this was. In fact as far as Andeddo knew it could have been nothing more than a mirage, a trick of the heat on his vision. Regardless Andeddo had very little choice on the matter and continued onward, hoping against hope that what lay before him was in fact real and not a mirage.

He slid down the opposite bank of the dune, and the sand cascaded around his ankles, tripping the man up momentarily. He stumbled forwards slightly as he reached the bottom of the incline, but caught himself before he could face plant onto the ground. He sighed lightly, and dusted himself off, not that it made much of a difference. Andeddo slowly came closer to what he now recognized as a tent. coming closer still the man could make out that the tent was in fact covering a large hole, which he could only assume was used to keep things cool during the day, since dessert temperatures at night dropped drastically, and sleeping below ground would be unwise.

He was on the opposite side of the tent then the one who had called him here, or so he assumed, since he didn't see her. A small smirk appeared on his face, obscured behind the scarf wrapped around his face. OF course she would be on the other side, the sun was casting shadows away from Andeddo, meaning Sheffield would be resting in the shade, away from the harsh light of the sun. He quietly circled around the tent, spying an occupied chair, and approached it, standing behind her he cleared his throat quite loudly, knocking on the chair itself with his knuckle. He smirked again, though she wouldn't see it beneath the protective clothing.

{WIP}Legend of Tenjin Empty
PostSubject: Re: {WIP}Legend of Tenjin   {WIP}Legend of Tenjin EmptySat Jul 05, 2014 6:10 pm

Sheffield waited patiently, her request had been a few days ago... but it was still pretty sudden. Asking the Seinin in a dream to meet her out in the middle of nowhere, and especially in a desert. They knew each other vaguely, but enough to know each other's simple mannerisms and she knew that even if she was a wanted shinobi who was an outcast from her village; he would help her, he understood that she had her reasons. If the two of them ever clashed in battle, they would go at each other to the death, but also with the highest level of respect for each other's determination and choices.

Still, she was a paranoid assassin, someone who had been raised in utter darkness and spoke very few words at all until she had been chosen by her clan to be a spokes person. Being out in the open like this with nothing but sand and harsh sunlight, was quite the contrast to her usual bearings. She had given the man detailed information(as detailed as a desert gets) about where she would be and how to find her. She felt vulnerable, knowing that there was always that small thought in the back of her head, thinking that he might arrive with ANBU or something to kill her. She trusted very few people and she didn't really trust this Seinin even though she somewhat knew him.

She had a pupil in Tsukigakure and she didn't even trust the younger prodigy she was training. She was slowly breaking down the clan's years of brainwashing and making the girl think for herself and be willing to openly admit that the clan elders were wrong in their doings. It was a dangerous game, because technically Sheffield wasn't allowed inside Tsukigakure, yet that is where she was residing currently... with a pupil even! The sad truth was, that she had assumed the face and identity of another Onmyoton shinobi in the clan and had subtly influenced the clan leaders to allow her to take up a pupil. Of course she had picked the new generation Onmyoton prodigy, she would influence the girl and turn her against the clan elders- they Sheffield would go about "freeing" the clan from their chains of darkness.

Whether her pupil hated her or not afterwards, that was up to her; but for now, she didn't even know that her teacher was the notorious Sheffield Onmyoton. Sheffield looked forwards to the day where she could reveal her identity to her pupil and expect more than a kunai to the throat or being revealed to the clan elders.

For several hours, Sheffield waited in the shade of the tent roofing over-stretching the sandy area; she daydreamed about how different things would be inside Tsukigakure if she could kill the clan elders and free the clan from their dark ways. The ways she had been very much a part of until she was betrayed and nearly assassinated. Even still, while she daydreamed, she remained guarded and watched intently for any kind of trouble. It came as no surprise to her as Andeddo appeared almost out of nowhere beside her, tapping lightly on the chair next to her.

She had seen the dust being kicked up and carried past her by the wind, so she knew in which direction he had been coming from. After checking it was just him and not a squad of ANBU, she waited patiently for him to approach. Now that he was here though, she turned and looked up to him as she took a swig from a water skin. She patted the chair next to her, which was in a deep reclined position- Welcome to my little training camp, Ande. I appreciate you coming out to this insufferable place on such short notice. Now, take a seat and relax for a bit, I have some food in the tent if your hungry.

{WIP}Legend of Tenjin Empty
PostSubject: Re: {WIP}Legend of Tenjin   {WIP}Legend of Tenjin EmptySat Jul 05, 2014 8:23 pm

Andeddo considered very few people his friends, simply due to the nature of friendship. Sheffield however did not rank on that list of people. She was skilled, no doubt, and insufferable sometimes, such as now, bringing him all the way out here without even having the decency to explain why prior to his trek out into this Gods damned place. But friendship required more than skill and mutual respect. That much made them acquaintances, but nothing more. Friendship required trust and openness, something neither person was willing to fully surrender to the other, simply due to their natures. Andeddo had lost too much to easily make friends now a days, and Sheffield herself was technically an outlaw, who he should be attacking on site.

Since they both knew he wouldn't, there was no point on even dwelling on this fact, simply because it just made the situation awkward. He didn't need to know her past, and she wasn't about to start spilling it. Andeddo was content with that, and she seemed to be as well, this wasn't the first time one of them had called on the other for some favour or other. However, this was the first time that she had brought him out to the middle of nowhere, and that should have set off little alarm bells. Andeddo believed though that if she intended him harm, she wouldn't have sent him warning. She was too much of a professional to give herself away like that.

And he was too honourable to have brought anyone else to this meeting, despite his misgivings. It was no secret neither of them fully trusted the other, and that given even the slightest indication of trickery or betrayal this meeting could turn sour in an instant, and only one of them would walk away alive. Andeddo snorted lightly. He didn't think she wanted him dead, but this was just a hunch. However he had left a note in his home, addressed to his pupil, who he was supposed to meet up with in a weeks time, that if he wasn't there he was to send the note to the ANBU, and they were to send out a unit to his last known location, also inscribed on the note. Andeddo wasn't a fool, he prepped for emergencies, in case the worst should come to pass.

And of course she was lounging when he got to her, he wasn't even surprised by that in the slightest. He snorted lightly again as he circled around her, pulling out his own water skin and taking another swig to quench his thirst and keep his body hydrated. He couldn't believe that she chose this god awful climate. Though he knew she would have a perfectly good explanation. Or so he hoped. If she dragged him out here for nothing he wouldn't be happy. So Sheffield had better make this meeting worth something, or Andeddo wasn't sticking around for very long.

He approached the proffered chair, and practically fell into it, sighing as his legs gave way beneath him. He lowered the cloth from his face, unwinding it from around his head. He turned to face Sheffield slightly, not saying anything yet, just examining her. She seemed to be as he remembered, no missing limbs or anything, so it didn't appear to be a life or death situation that she called him about. At least her directions had been sound, else one, or both, of them might be lost out in this wasteland dying.

He relaxed a moment, letting silence sit between them after Sheffield's words. He shut his eyes and breathed deeply. HE cracked one open a slit, and peaked over at Sheffield. "Why in Fenrir's name did you drag me out to this inhospitable wasteland for Sheff? It better be a damn good reason."

{WIP}Legend of Tenjin Empty
PostSubject: Re: {WIP}Legend of Tenjin   {WIP}Legend of Tenjin EmptySat Jul 05, 2014 9:32 pm

Sheffield was here for one purpose only, anything else did not interest her; to be killed or to kill was not her intent. Her and Ande had an unspoken truce and she would honor the truce just as she hoped he would. Her reasons to be out here and to request his presence out here was more simple, but also more complex. It was hard to put into proper words without making it sound too easy, because as soon as she told him what their goal was; he was going to think it would be a simple matter.

She turned and looked at him, he was tired and just now relaxing- she figured it might be best to just take her time and explain it and give the man some time to rest. He hadn't been training his body to handle the desert after all, and it was likely affecting him differently than it was affecting her. She had trained and acclimated her body for this severe condition, so him meeting her here on such short notice was a big favor. She would have to find a way to pay him back, maybe if he needed someone assassinated... or to do a sensitive job for his village even if they wouldn't request assistance from Ouroboros.

Well, Ande. I requested your assistance and company now because I need to use that brain of yours, as well as have you witness my new jutsu I have been making. It's a very complicated jutsu and I need someone with keen eyes and a sharp mind to pay attention and tell me what they think about it. There really wasn't any other way to put it, that was the short and simple of it- she could go into a much more lengthy detail about the complicated ratios on the two different advanced elements Inton & Yoton... but there was no reason to confuse the Seinin with unnecessary details. This was a jutsu not teachable to others except those of her own clan... and no one had a better understanding and capacity to utilize the Onmyoton clan element like she could. Being the first generation prodigy and all.

Sheffield would let Ande relax and replenish himself, she had already invited him to any food inside the tent- before she could perform the jutsu, she still needed to practice it some more and work out the inconsistencies in the Yoton and Inton elements. Ande could sit and watch as she focused and combined the ratios for a bit, it would do him some good to relax his body and mind for a while. Trudging through a harsh desert made people imagine things and often become delirious, Ande would do her no good if he couldn't think with that sharp mind of his.

She sat up from her reclined position in the chair and sat in a comfortable position with her back straight and her hands upturned in her lap. She could sort out the chakra ratios invisibly in her body, but she wanted Ande to understand the gratitude of how complex this jutsu was. Normally, as an Academy student, the trainees focused on visible chakra ratios; in that regard, Sheffield was starting out with the base element to crafting a new jutsu. Ande would be very fortunate to be able to witness the creation process... and likely warn his own village of the dangers once her jutsu was complete. They had a silent understanding, but that didn't mean he had to keep information from his village, or Tsukigakure for that matter. If he thought her actions would go too far and create irreparable damage, she expected him to report such to any village necessary.

To her, she didn't mind. Ande served as a check in her power and was a reminder to help her keep a firm hold on reality and right and wrong- still, she often chose the wrong for a better future.. but people still frowned on such. People never liked the person who took the harder route, all they ever saw was the wrongness.

Two different colored chakras formed in her hands; one hand held a massive ball of black chakra, while the other hand held a massive ball of white chakra. The size and density fluctuated often, growing bigger and smaller, thicker and thinner. Several times Sheffield tried to combine the two sources of chakra in the center, but failed every time. She let the chakra return to her body and paused for a breather, she took a long swig of her water and wiped a bit of sweat from her face.. more from the heat rather than the difficulty of the work. It was more of a mind exhaustion rather than physical. As you can see Ande, this jutsu requires a massive amount of chakra and is quite delicate. Even the slightest difference in the ratio compound will result in an unstable result which will nullify the whole effect.

Sheffield had another way to do this, but it was a bit extreme; she would prefr to do it this simple way... but she might not have that option.

Andeddo took his time in answering, though no actual question had been posed to him. He looked over at Sheff again, his breathing finally calming down completely, once more maintaining regular levels. He smirked lightly, wondering what exactly this new technique of Sheffields could do. IT had to be something major for her to call him out here like this, esspecially on such short notice. He looked forward to the experience. "So you called me out here to just watch you with a jutsu of yours? You wanted professional input and critique? Well you came to the right guy, but did you have to make me come all the way out here?"

Sure he whined a little at the end, but by Fenrir, he had the right to complain, he wasn't used to this climate, whereas Sheffield herself obviously was. He wasn't hungry, so the food proffered to him never even crossed his mind. He was here on business, and would focus on that. Right after he relaxed a bit. He sighed heavily as he sank gratefully into the chair further, watching Sheffield out of the corner of his eye.

However this position didn't last long as Sheffield began to build and gather chakra in her hands. He sat up and turn the chair to face her, keeping a close eye on her actions, since that was why he was here afterall. This would be useful for him, regardless of the fact he couldn't use it, he might find weaknesses and ways to counteract it. Sure, he would help her with making it better, but he would still learn ways to fight against this jutsu of hers, she was no ally to Kusa afterall, despite their unusual arrangement.

As she paused again he nodded slightly, watching the chakra dissipate as she released it. He didn't comment, as he merely watched her drink and relax between attempts.

{WIP}Legend of Tenjin Empty
PostSubject: Re: {WIP}Legend of Tenjin   {WIP}Legend of Tenjin EmptySun Jul 06, 2014 12:40 am

This was the best place for me to train this jutsu, anywhere else and I would have been noticed and hunted by any one or more of the village's ANBU & Tracker-nins. She didn't mind his whining, he had the right in fact. This desert was second-best to hell.

After conversing with Ande some more, listening for useful tips, constructive criticism and his curious tone; Sheffield was determines to try again... and this time with success. She reformed the two chakra balls of opposing color and tried several times to mesh them together, at first peacefull and then violently. This was draining her mental willpower, it seemed impossible, it was like trying to combine light and darkness together. Good and evil into one.... Into one! That's it!

She turned to Ande suddenly and dissipated the two different chakra again, she looked at him like a madman with glee who had just discovered some secret that had eluded humanity for years. She continued to explain as she moved her hands and began to reform chakra. The issue is not combining the large sum of chakra at all, it is how I implore them to mesh! To iterate her point, she no longer help both hands turned up, but rather she held them in the air and facing inwards to each other. Black chakra flowed from one hand and white chakra flowed from the other; both colors suspended in the air in between her palms and began to swirl together.

The air around the immediate area hummed with energy as the chakras fought for supremacy but to no avail; their waging war inside the growing sphere of chakra only rekindled itself when one color seemed close to overpowering the other.. and then the other would come back forcefully and reclaim its space within the large chakra orb. Sheffield moved her hands to reposition the orb so Ande could have a better view of it, she felt the heaviness in her hands and thought it was just from exhaustion.. but rather, the massive amount of chakra in her hands had made the air much more dense. Just like good and evil, light cannot exist without darkness. Trying to combine two separate elemens such as light and darkness without first being one and the same is probably impossible. If I combine them together in the initial shaping and creation of the medium, I can mix them together without failure. Granted they are still constantly fighting for supremacy, but the goal is accomplished.

Next came stage two of the jutsu, after successfully combinging the chakra- it felt as if she was holding the world itself in her hands; teeming with life and energy. She closed her hands together suddenly in a loud clap, forcing the massive ball of ever-changing white and black chakra to disappear between her hands. A small shockwave shoot her chair and threatened to blow the tent down, but it remained steadfast. She was unsure how to use the jutsu at first, so she focused with the sound into the form of a Genjutsu on both herself and Ande.

The possibilities flooded into her head as the sentient chakra took solid form and life before her; she recalled a story she was move interested in since a young girl. A scholar warrior who sought answers and was betrayed, exiled and killed. When he died, it stormed very bad for weeks; the rain threatened their livelihood of grain and their abodes, lightning flashed across the sky and set many lands ablaze. He was reborn then as a god named Tenjin, the od of scholarship.

She decided, Sheffield would shape this jutsu into a story of sorts- one that portrayed those involved into the Genjutsu to play the main role of Tenjin. To live through his betrayal, exile and death. In their minds, Ande and Sheffield could see and converse with one another, on a separate plane from the manifestation of her Genjutsu. The desert began to change drastically, fields of rice appeared where there had once been sand, houses sprouted up here and there, animals appeared from nothingness and then humans took form and began to go through their everyday lives. Sheffield and Ande touched down on the round and watched silently but curiously at the events that took place.

The beings around them seemed to not notice or interact physically with Sheffield and Ande, one woman walked straight through Ande's body as if she were a ghost. Sheffield snickered at his reaction, apparently they were not able to interact with the inhabitants of this Genjutsu. She looked at Ande almost as mystified as him. Her intent had been to create a Genjutsu with the legend on Tenjin... but her Onmyoton ability had literally turned this desert into a civilization. Sheffield and Ande stood in the center of a rice field with a large feudal style civilization all around them, complete with samurai on horses wearing demon masks.

Curious about the limitions of this jutsu, she walked to the outside of the village and tried to walk away from the area. She was instantly repelled by a barrier, it had been invisible until she touched it- then it had rippled every so slightly and revealed its presence around the civilization. Ande, please see if you can break this barrier for me. Give it your best shot. She wanted to test the durability of the barrier which separated the civilization from reality, though she would soon learn, that it takes an S Rank jutsu of great magnitude to break such a barrier.

Reardless of them being there or messing with the barrier, the main character Tenjin was going through his life events. "So... if I use this Genjutsu on someone in particular with the intent to trap or kill them... then they become "Tenjin" and must survive his life... interesting.

Andeddo had to concede to Sheffield's point, had she set up anywhere near any of the villages she probably would have been made into a target immediately. He knew for a fact that if she had tried to use Kusa, or the area around he himself would have lead the attack on her. She most likely knew this as well. He chuckled lightly and nodded. ”You bring up a fair point.”

Andeddo had once more sat back in his seat, as Sheffield continued to attempt to merge the two different chakra natures, and not having much success, until she cried out suddenly, and turned to face him just as suddenly. He leaned forward again, catching the gleam in her eyes, and he knew she had had a breakthrough. He eagerly watched her hands as she moved them into position. However unlike the last time she no longer held them palms up, instead Sheffield faced them towards one another, as her chakra began to mix and mold between her two outstretched hands. Andeddo could practically hear the humming of the energy as the two polar opposite chakra's repulsed each other and sought control.

Andeddo was intrigued by this small scale war happening within Sheffields hands, and watched it closely as the two chakra's vied for dominance. He looked up at Sheffield's face as she spoke nodding his head in agreement. Her points were valid, and he appreciated the insight they gave, and stored it away, in the back of his mind. His eyebrows jumped up as she suddenly brought her hands together, slamming them over the chakra sphere. Andeddo felt the shockwave that this created, it even blew on his clothing, the loose fabric becoming taut a moment.

However his attention was almost immediately grabbed by the changes being wrought to the environment around them, which were drastic. No longer was there a dessert surrounding them, now there were rice fields, men and women working them, horse riding samurai. Andeddo tightened his hand around his blade, prepared to face this people should Sheff lose control of this technique of hers. Though none of them seemed to even notice the pair of shinobi. In fact one of the female apparitions walked literally through Andeddo himself, causing him to jump to the side, looking himself over. He scowled and looked over at Sheffield.

Whatever she had done, this technique was incredible. It looked and felt so real, and had not one of the inhabitants just walked through him he would have sworn he could reach out and touch her. IT was such a surreal experience. One moment they were alone in a barren wasteland, and the next life is sprouting around them, entire beings popping into existence who until that moment, had been nothing more than an idea in Sheffield's mind. It was incredible. And terrifying. The Seinin immediately began to mentally take notes on this place, his eyes drawn to the horse riding warriors. He shook his head in resignation. This was why he didn't mess with Genjutsu.

Andeddo caught movement from the corner of his eye and he watched Sheffield walk away from the village they now stood in, past the buildings and towards the outskirts. Andeddo took off in pursuit, leisurely walking after the woman. He watched her bump into a barrier of sorts. He rested his hand on it, watching how it rippled from his palm, distorting his view of the surroundings. He turned his head to Sheffied as she asked him to test the barrier, give it his best shot at breaking through it. Andeddo grinned, and followed the barrier away from Sheffield, giving himself some space to work without fear of hitting her in the process.

The Seinin began to build up large quantities of chakra, and quickly performed handseals to shape the chakra to his will. He grinned once more, then from the clear sky a bolt of lightning struck down, hitting the Gray Maned Wolf head on, charging his body with it's power. He rolled his shoulders and breathed out, and the electricity pulsed through him, exiting his body at ground level, creating a static field around him. The electrical current moving through the air, instantly ionizing the molecules of the air, heat radiating from the circulating current. This field surrounded the man, striking the barrier constantly. The energy coursing through the field passing straight through the barrier, using it as a conductor.

The barrier couldn't seem to handle the electrical current, and shattered. Andeddo smiled, and turned to Sheffield, giving her the thumbs up as his jutsu wore off, the ground scarred and malformed by the heat and current. "One barrier down. No problem at all."

Sheffield took a couple steps back as Ande's lightning jutsu took effect. Lightning arced around the area as Ande focused on destroying the barrier; his lightning fought with it for a short time before the barrier suddenly shattered and disappeared. Sheffield turned around and watched the civilization and people in the area- nothing changed. The scene didn't collapse and it didn't expand past the limits of the barrier either.

Sheffield did notice something though, all around the outside of the barrier, it was still the desert; sand kicked up a ledge of a sand dune and blew it into the scenery. The sand floated across and got caught in a woman's eye as she was tending to the rice field. She stopped and rubbed her eye for a few minutes and went back to working.. So.. this jutsu has manifested in a physical form, and once the barrier is removed- anything outside the barrier can interact normally with anything inside the barrier. Interesting.

There was one more thing to try, Sheffiled focused on the chakra used to enact this jutsu and dissipated it. Immediately everything in the area returned to nothingness; it all went up in a cloud of smoke and disappeared. Leaving Sheffield and Ande back in the desert by her tent. She was suddenly very tired, she fell back onto her chair rather hard and began to breathe heavily. I must thank you for coming out and helping me Ande, please consider something I can do for you or your village in the future as a way to repay you.

She felt suddenly quite sleepy, she drank from the water skin she had with her and then walked over to the tent feebly. You are welcome to stay here until the morning, I plan to leave myself then once my strength returns. this jutsu requires a lot of chakra and mental willpower.

With that, she went inside the large tent, crawled into her cooled sleeping bag and rifted off to sleep. She trusted that Ande wouldn't kill her in her sleep, he was an honorable man and she could rest safely for the time being.
