Village News
The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Mingo Sato Tellme11

Personality: Some of the things he does makes many see him as a great role model or a bad one, that many shinobi should grow to be or not be. But like every human is this world a person has his stretghts and weaknesses.weaknesses. Mingo having many more weaknesses than others, but who really cares. Migno was taught not to hide how he really felt about things. Since he is a shinobi he doesn't always speak out to what his higher up tell him, unless it is something that really goes against what he believes is right. Mingo from growing up showed that he was very perceptive than he seemed, and often tell people or comrades what they needed to hear instead of what they wanted. Hence, he is seen as one of the more hardened shinobi in Boufuugakure and can often be called a very scary person to have a heart to heart conversation with. Going back to showing his emotions, being capable of crying or losing his temper, which results in Mingo's short fuse and subsequent beatings of people, but he doesn't hold a grudge.

A great flaw that Mingo has is simple; he is a very lecherous pervert, and can constantly being caught doing things that many would frown upon. But he acts this way due to his only role model being his Grandfather, an even more lecherous pervert. He was taught that women are the most valuable things in the world, mainly the beautiful ones, but Mingo loves all women. Beauty to him involves them having a great body, but they only need a kind and loving heart for him to be attracted. Due to his love for women he made a vow to himself, that he would never kill a women.Kill because in the life of a shinobi a person of any gender can be your enemy. His love for women could be taken advantage of, if used correctly. The women can have him take on a task ,free, in return he can ask any favor, almost always the favor in return is what he didn't have in mind. His only thing is that the task must not  involve him going against his village or comrades. He is very amorous, constantly flirting with any , mostly attractive, woman he sees,  Mingo gets even more perverted when he gets older in age, making lewd faces when he so much as thought of beautiful women and acting strangely when he got close to 'real' women, causing others to question about his health. He's also known to show jealousy towards others when their luck with women appears better than his. He has sworn to never let women be insulted or injured while he can still stand, regardless of how attractive (or unattractive) they are, even in life-or-death situations. This is often problematic in his fighting as he cannot strike the killing blow on female opponents as he would rather die than hurt them (though that does not mean he will not resort to blocking their attacks). All of this is apparently the result of his Grandfathers strict upbringing. Conversely, Mingo is very abrasive and insulting to many other men, thinking he is better looking and more skilled than they are.

Likes: For what he picked up from his grandfather Mingo has become fond of Women,Drinking,Training, and setting the example.
Drinking:Even though he doesn't do it that much, and only with his Grandfather, he loves it. Even though when he does it he can't really remember what happened after he takes a sip of Sake.
Women:obviously he loves women from the way he acts around them, and the pervy things that he does.
Training: Growing up he loved it when his Grandfather trained him, physically or mentally. SO he decided he would always find time to train, or rather their was always to train.
Setting the Example: He likes it when those around him consider him the leader and follow his example of what a shinobi should be, or what a person in general should be like.

Dislikes: Those who break their word/promises, and unnecessary cruelty. He just has a plain dislike for people who don't or can't keep what they promised, no matter what it is, or something they said they will never do. Unnecessary cruelty is just not needed, he knows that every will die some day but causing unneeded pain that wasn't deserved is uncalled for.

Motivation: What truly motivates him is to keep everyone that he hold dear safe. But another thing that drives him is that he wants to prove that a shinobi can be great while only using Taijutsu.

Fears: Not being able to save someone if he is able to. This is from him not being able to save his teammate,Jun, from dyeing. And also feeling that if someone who is innocent is in danger, he should be able to save them as one of his duties as a shinobi.

Mingo Sato Histor11

History:
Birth of a Legend:

On January tenth Mingo was born in a small home that was lit with candle light, his mother and Grandfather the only ones in attendance. His father having gone missing a few months before Mingo's birth. Mingo was the first and only child of his mother she dyeing two years after Mingo was born ,from an unknown illness. So that left Mingo in the care of an old and talented man, his grandfather Genso. But in short time she had with her son the mother thought he would always be and do something to change the world, often telling this to the grandfather even the day she died. For the years she was alive though she always was with her child, knowing for some reason she wouldn't live for long. Going to the day she died Mingo cried, being two at the time, since he had never been away from his mother. This only seemed to be a problem till he got used to being around his grandfather.

A youths challenge:

Since the age of three, when he was in the care of his Grandfather, he never left that mans side. Genso in the beginning loved this and started training the child when he turned four. But when Mingo turned five, Genso made put him in the academy. Thinking that if he grew to clingy to him he wouldn't make any friends growing up or be strong. At first Mingo was a quiet and antisocial child, crying every time his Grandfather dropped him off at the Academy. Hating not being by the only family he had made him a little bitter and had no way to let out his displeasure. But that soon changed when he was made fun of, not wanting to be embarrassed again he vowed to make them pay. But that kind of thing wasn't in Mingo's nature and he ended up befriending every person in the academy, his best friends being the ones who made fun of him. While he spent his time in the academy Mingo didn't slack off because he made new friends, because he didn't have a choose to. His grandfather didn't want Mingo to show that he wasn't smart and punished him for acting if he wasn't. But his grandfather wasn't good at punishments so he would just give empty threats.

For some strange reason he didn't have the knack for Ninjutsu or Genjutsu only being average at Taijutsu. Due to this flaw Taishoku had to make sure, even at his young age, to become at what he could do. And soon passed being one of the top students within his class, even though he could barely do Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. When it was about a week before Mingo was about to graduate his Grandfather asked him a series of questions, mainly about his dreams and future as a shinobi. The answers that Mingo gave his Grandfather made his heart swell with pride and more love for his grandson, stating to him that he will become a great shinobi one day. Mingo still had to deal with the challenges of only using Taijutsu, but he never gave up. He continued to perfect his taijutsu and his physical endurance, but he never attempted to use or practice Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. It just seemed like on rare occasions some inspiring shinobi couldn't do something.

Joining a Team:

Mingo was put into a team of people who didn't specialize at all in Taijutsu, and the worst fact to him was that they both were men. Katsuo thinking that this was the worst team to be on challenged both of the guys to a fight, thinking he was superior to both of them and Taijutsu was superior to their Genjutsu and Ninjutsu. But soon found out it was the other way around. After challenging both of them to a one v. on bout Mingo lost horribly. His teammates names where Rikki and Jun; Rikki being a member of Hasegawa and Jun a member of Ko-Seido. After being defeated by the two Mingo would become really depressed and angry, not anger at them but himself. But he didn't feel that way for long because after that fight his comrades hadn't thought of people who used only taijutsu to be effective shinobi, but Mingo showed them different from challenging them. And from that day on the three teammates were as close as brothers. And if they had some physical similarities people might/ would think they were.

Even though they joked around with each other, they never hated each others company. Even though Rikki disliked the other two perverseness, thinking Jun and Mingo didn't know how to act around women. But that was only one thing that the would spark an argument between them. And honestly they had happy times with each other and their sensei. Mingo can help even though he only used Taijutsu, by thinking of strategies they could use to help better carry out a task/mission they were given. But their happy times together soon turned to dark days. On one mission they went on a very dangerous one their sensei thinking they were ready. At the beginning the mission was just to recover a scroll that a rogue ninja had stolen, it seemed simple even though the sensei told them to stay sharp. But the boys became cocky from the other mission they had successfully accomplished over the years. And that heavily played into the teams tragic event. The rogue ninja knew that someone would be coming after him so he set up traps and asked for protecting from a fellow missing nin, who was way stronger than him. The traps set up seemed to be horribly made and place, but they served a purpose to alert the guy where Mingo's team was. Shortly after the traps were sprung the guy with the scroll came with is buddy at the team, the sensei taking on the other missing nin as Katsuo, Rikki, and Jun engaged the guy with the scroll. The sensei had too much faith in the boys as he lead the other missing nin away from them, becoming to far of to come and help for was about to happen.  The boys were successful in taking back the scroll, but the guy put up better fight then they thought he would. The mission had been a success but the cost may have been to great. Jun having died in the battle to save Mingo, who was stuck in genjutsu. The error of him not attempting to learn about or practicing anything that dealt with Genjutsu caused what had happened, and Mingo had to live with the outcome for the rest of his life. But at that moment he thought he would only have to deal with what he felt for a sort time, as he wasn't that to familiar with that feeling of great lose since he was way younger.

The death of Jun hurt Mingo mainly because it was his fault, and because he had lost another person that he believed was part of his family. A hole was left in his heart, that when could never be filled. Two years later the sensei had the remaining two take on mission that were not at all difficult. Mainly due to not wanting to lose another member of their team, if they took on a difficult mission that involved fighting. Mingo always would show his frustration with taking mission that were not difficult, but he would seem to be the only one that would feel that way. Both the sensei and Rikki came to the conclusion that if Mingo was better in Ninjutsu and Genjutsu Jun would still be alive. Mingo also believed this, even though he never told them. So he would secretly study different Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, but still never practiced it to learn them. He still thought it would be foolish of him to practice something he could never be good in or master, so he picked to learn on ways to not have it be strong if used against him in combat. His mindset was that every jutsu can be countered by his drive to win.

Finally a Chance:

After another year Mingo finally got them to see life in his perspective. Even though it seemed to late and the two boys had to wait again before participating in the Chunnin exams, missing it because of their sensei not thinking they were ready. Mingo wasn't angry about participating because he would be able to take on difficult missions once again with his team, and this time he had something to prove. Even though the team hadn't been on mission that prove to have any danger Mingo always trained to make his body ready for when it came time to fight. He usually did his training alone but some time would do it with his team or even his Grandfather. His training didn't always consist of pushing his body to the limit before it gave up on him, he also trained his mind. Doing that by reading books and watching other teams train, spying on them, while they practice jutsu they would use in the Chunnin exams. The purpose of this was to learn more about what techniques fellow shinobi possessed but also convince himself that he could always find a weak point in a jutsu, that he could use Taijutsu to exploit it.

Finally the Chunnin exams had come around once again and Mingo was ready, his teammate following right behind him. After they had first met Rikki was undoubtedly stronger and smarter than Mingo, but that had changed since the death of Jun. Mingo had improved his skills tenfold and felt that nothing could stop him. This was because Mingo came to the realization that he was still alive toady because of the people who had died for him; he would be the one to live on for them and someday do the same for someone he cared about. The first part of the exam the two easily passed, but later in the exam there would be a seeming dark time to come. Mingo knew this because he had a talk with his grandfather, who at that time became severely ill. What Mingo's Grandfather told him is that he could feel something bad was going to happen soon, but you shouldn't see it in that way. But see it as something good that was long over due. And after that talk Mingo's Grandfather condition seemed to get worse.

Mingo's goal in these exams were to pass, but to also have his teammate pass. He though he was constantly worrying about his Grandfather. The dark time the Grandfather talked about didn't come till the last part of the exam, which was a team battle. The other parts of the exam didn't put up a challenge to the two and after this last part they would be able to become Chunnin. Their opponents were extremely strong, but that didn't faze the outnumbered Mingo and Rikki. Rikki and Mingo were able to take out two of the members of the opposite team, the last member primarily being a Genjutsu user. At some point Mingo seemed to be caught in a genjutsu, and this made Rikki have an emotion breakdown as he thought another one of his teammates were about to die. But Mingo would go against what was about to happen, breaking out of the genjutsu and taking out the last enemy. After they had become Chunnin Mingo had a talk with his teammate, and it didn't end so well. Mingo told Rikki about how he shouldn't have broken down and continued to fight, the conversation ending with Rikki saying it wasn't so easy and Mingo not understanding what he meant. Mingo realized that his team was hurt from the death of Jun, but didn't know how much they hurt. This was the dark time the Grandfather was talking about which was how the boys were not talking about how the death of their teammate affected them all and should have been talked about after it ended. It was obvious that they should have talked about from how the three acted. Their sensei sometimes staring blankly out in the distance, probably thinking about how he could have done something. And Rikki thinking he was helpless to save his comrade. And Mingo not wanting to talk to anyone at times because he thought about Jun. So one day Mingo got feed up with this and decided he would help the two see how that experienced could help them move on to become better shinobi. The dark time was exactly what the grandfather said it was; something that should have been taken care of awhile ago and not let to grow.

The start of a regular life

After the talk between his teammate and sensei they had reach an agreement, to not let the death of comrades keep them done. Even though this was their sensei's first team it would seem he had learned from them, and taught them good things. As the days went on Mingo came to understand more and more on what a shinobi was and what they did. Even though he didn't agree with some of those things he put his duty first and never went against his duties as a Tsukigakure shinobi. Recently he has passed the Jonin exams. But he had Rikki and his Sensei to help him grow better as a shinobi. Time passed and everything was good, despite the things shinobi go through. The most recent and important thing in his life is his involvement with many people in the village. What he does is volunteer his help for free to anyone that really needs it, when he doesn't have anything else to do. How and why he started doing this was really for personal gain as it was to get closer to a women he liked. As he tried to impressive her by showing he was a powerful shinobi but also a kind one, but one day she moved. Since Mingo kinda liked helping others and wanted others to follow what he was doing he didn't stopped. But that is the only thing that is interesting about Mingo at the moment, as he is still young and life has merely just started for him. Some day his story will grow and spreed through the lands as if he was just a myth. Well that's what he puts in his journal every night after spying on women at spas and other places he shouldn't be. Also for a strange reason he has pronounced himself as the rival of the current kage, only because of his jealously. He feels that someone of great power and stature could be his only rival and one day he would accept that. But though he respects that kage he thinks that someone like him, a pure taijutsu user, could be something new and great at being a kage. But at the same time isn't with dealing with lots of paperwork the kage goes through, thinking it will dull a persons skill if all they did was paperwork. Mingo didn't honestly know at all what the kage did only that they were the strongest and had no equals to shinobi below other kages.
