Members of the subordinate house clan have a special seal, a deadly curse seal planted on their foreheads though, normally green in color. Location: Tsukigakure Clan History: The Hyūga clan is one of the five noble clans of Tsukigakure, the others being: Kyuketsuki, Hachurui, Ookami, and Metarumasuta. All members born into this clan possess the Byakugan, a kekkei genkai that gives them extended fields of vision and the ability to see through solid objects and even the chakra circulatory system, amongst other things, and expel chakra from any of the tenketsu in their body. While not much is known of the clan's background, they are considered to be one of, if not currently, the most powerful clan in Tsukigakure. Their notoriety and prowess stretches far and wide, leading others to both praise and covet their abilities. During the latest Shinobi World War, an enemy-nin noted that they had a hard time against them during a previous war. The clan is separated into two parts, the main house (Sōke) and the branch house (Bunke), a system that protects the secrets of the Byakugan from outsiders. The main house runs the family while the branch house protects it. The members of the branch house are branded with a cursed seal upon the third birthday of the heir to the main house. This seal gives the main house members absolute control over the branch members, because they can destroy the branch members' brain cells with a simple hand seal, or cause them great pain to punish them. This seal also makes sure the secret of the Hyūga's Byakugan is safe, because it seals the Byakugan after the wearer of the seal dies. Because they are essentially servants, simply because of their birth order or heritage, some branch house members are hostile to those of the main house. Clan Abilities: The Hyūga are renowned for possessing the highly coveted Byakugan, a kekkei genkai feared for the great visual prowess that it grants its wielder. The first ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. The second ability is being able to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person, and can be improved. However, the Byakugan cannot see through certain barriers, such as the Four Black Fog Battle Formation. The third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, its flow, as well as the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail. Members of the clan are instructed in the use of the Gentle Fist style, which uses the Byakugan to view the opponent's Chakra Pathway System and deal precise blows to disable and impede the flow of chakra. Due to training in this style, Hyūga clan members tend to have excellent chakra control. This is emphasised in techniques that utilise this chakra control, as well as the nuances of the Gentle Fist Art. It is said that this clan possesses more than one kekkei genkai, one of which grants them the ability to expel chakra from every tenketsu in their body, allowing them to fully utilise chakra with attacks. Duration: Depends on Rank. To keep it active, the jutsu will cost 10 chakra each post it is active. So, this will be 15 Chakra originally, and then 10 Chakra each post after that.
Cooldown: Depends on rank. 3 posts at S-Rank ninja, and a solid example would be plus 1 for every rank less than that. So, pretty much 4 posts at Jounin, 5 at Special Jounin, 6 at chuunin, and 7 for Genin.
Description: The needed technique to use any Byakugan based jutsu. The rank of the jutsu depends on the user, as it must be their highest jutsu slot. This allows the user to to see further distances, depending on the rank, able to see through objects, and able to see the Chakra Circulatory System. This also arrives the user to use Gentle Fist, a special type of fighting style. By focusing the chakra to their finger tips or palms, they can press the tenketsu or chakra pressure points of their opponents body. When the finger nears the tenketsu the chakra is forced out, collapsing the targeted tenketsu for a period of time. The tenketsu serve as the connectors and exit points for the chakra pathways. So when they are stopped by the Hyuga clan member, the ninja greatly loses his or her ability to utilize their chakra for jutsu.
The distance a person can see depends on their rank.
Genin: 40 meters maximum. The user will also be able to sense low key things, like leaves or medium sized bugs. If there were 8 birds behind them, the user would be able to see 2 of those birds. If stuck in a smoke screen, the user would be able to see a target's feet.
Chuunin: 80 meters maximum. The user will be able to sense larger things like kunai and shuriken. If there were 8 birds behind them, the user would be able to see 4 of those birds. If the user were to be stuck in a smokescreen, they would be able to see a person's feet and up to their knees.
Sp. Jounin: 120 meters maximum. The user's Byakugan will be average. They will be able to sense way larger things, like clones or people. If their were 8 birds behind them, a user would be able to sense 5 of those birds. If stuck in a smoke screen, the user will began to see up to the person's groin area.
Jounin: 160 meters maximum. This is the maximum of most Hyuga's Byakugan. They can see a great distance, more than three times that of a Genin Hyuga. If there were 8 birds behind them, the user will be able to sense an almost perfect 6 birds. If the user were stuck in a smokescreen, they would be able to perfectly almost make out the person, being able to see up to bust level.
S-Rank: 200 meters maximum. This is the rank where the most elite Hyuga's can see. Their vision is to the point where they can see exactly all of the 8 birds. If stuck in a smokescreen, they can perfectly make out the person.

Description: Once Byakugan is activated, Hyuga's are now able to use the special fighting style known as Gentle Fist to a greater measure. Without Byakugan, a user can still use Gentle Fist, but it won't be able to attack Chakra Pathways, and be more of a regular fighting style.
It inflicts internal damage through attacking the body's Chakra Pathway System, subsequently injuring organs which are closely intertwined with the area of the network which has been struck. To do this, the user surgically injects a certain amount of their own chakra into the opponent's chakra pathway system, causing damage to surrounding organs due to their proximity to the chakra circulatory system. Even the slightest tap can cause severe internal damage, hence the name "gentle" fist.
Targeting the tenketsu can enhance the havoc and control a Gentle Fist practitioner can impose upon an opponent's chakra network. These special nodes, 361 in total, are key gate keeping interceptions in the chakra circulatory network, thus forcibly opening or sealing them in whatever manner the Gentle Fist user sees fit is a powerful tactical option to have.
Because the chakra pathway system is invisible to the naked eye, the Byakugan is required for this style to be used effectively. Since the Byakugan is unique to the Hyūga clan, it has become their signature style of combat.

Description: The Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms technique is a manoeuvre of the Gentle Fist fighting style. It is essentially a halved version of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, but seems to be no less effective. This technique is used to close off the flow of chakra through thirty-two chakra points of an opponent's Chakra Pathway System for 2 posts. This eliminates their ability to use chakra for quite some time and makes it difficult for them to move.
Once someone is within range of the field of divination, the user assumes their
Gentle Fist stance and begins to deliver her attack:
First, two consecutive strikes to make two.
Second, another two consecutive strikes to make four.
Third, four consecutive strikes to make eight.
Fourth, eight consecutive strikes to make sixteen.
Fifth, another sixteen consecutive strikes in succession to make a total of thirty two. To use this technique, Byakugan must be activated.

This technique is used to close off the flow of chakra through sixty-four chakra points of an opponent's Chakra Pathway System for 2 posts. This eliminates their ability to use chakra for quite some time and makes it difficult for them to move.

Description: The Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms is a manoeuvre of the Gentle Fist fighting style. It is essentially a doubled version of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms performed at twice the speed. This technique is used to close off the flow of chakra through one hundred and twenty-eight chakra points of an opponent's Chakra Pathway System for 3 posts. This eliminates their ability to use chakra for quite some time and makes it difficult for them to move. Alternatively, it can be used to hit a great number of targets very quickly. 20 Gennin leveled ninja, 15 Chuunin level ninja, 10 SPC Jounin leveled ninja, 5 Jounin leveld ninja or 2 Seinin leveled ninja.
Once someone is within range of the user's field of divination, they assume a Gentle Fist stance and begin to deliver the attack that doubles starting at two and by the seventh, another sixty four consecutive strikes in succession to make a total of one hundred and twenty eight strikes in total.
