Village News
The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Revenge Can Be a Great Motivator 464bf91b9c5c13fc3cc6da3090521763
Revenge Is a Strong Motivator

Tears rolled down Moku’s cheeks.  He hated having done this to his friend.  He silently cursed the village and all of his superiors for ordering this to happen.  What kind of... who would order a man to tell his best friend that he killed the only person that best friend had left?  He screamed.  Not an angry scream, but one of anguish and mental pain.  Would Ryujin ever forgive him for this?  Moku wasn’t even sure if he HIMSELF would forgive anyone for a similar act, and yet, here he was doing it.  Why...

Right about now, word would be reaching the Ryujin that Moku had killed the boy’s mother.  Everyone that Ryujin would come into contact with would actually believe that this happened.  Moku and some of the village elders were the only ones who would have knowledge of such a truth.  In reality, the boy’s mother was being held willingly, albeit reluctantly as well, in a safe place by a single medical ninja and a squad of ANBU far from her home.  It’d be near impossible for Ryujin to find her, having the trail masked by ANBU ninja.  At the boy’s house there would be a fake crime scene set up by those ANBU which were now guarding his mother.

The shadowy forest emphasized the mental despair that so easily hung on Moku’s face.  If he could try wear his heart on his sleeve, not only would it be so, there would be the blood of evidence shown all over his body.  Tears could be heard to hit the leaves fallen in the Autumn season on the ground as the grown man sniffled, shame filling his heart for lying to Ryujin like this.  Trees were scattered about the area with low density because of the dense canopy above him, making floor vegetation something hard to come by.

It was dark;  not so much so that a Shinobi could not easily find his wits, but it would be truly crippling to the agility of civilians.  The darkness loomed into the Kaguya’s heart.  It grabbed its makeshift illusionary mirror and reflected his emotions back unto the world.  At that point the forest seemed to get darker from the sun moving behind a cloud overhead, somehow seeming to read the man’s heart; his soul even.

All this to train a Jinchuuriki to master his stupid Bijuu... as if Ryujin was simply a weapon against enemies.  The Kaguya’s fist slammed into a tree, peeling back the skin as blood dripped onto the ground.  As a Kaguya, his bones remained unscathed, but there was no denying it hurt like hell.  Ryujin... was not a toy.  He was not a weapon to deploy at the amusement of the village, he was a brave and powerful Shinobi who would bring his village pride; if subsequently came power, so be it.

Wind blew into the Kaguya’s face, pushing his scarlet hair back, downwind.  His wind breaker flapped and it was obvious that stealth was not in his mind.  He stood at an average height of 6‘0“ and a lean, muscular build.  It was somewhat disturbing, how different the man was from the rest of his clan.  They’d have pale skin, white hair and a hideous birthmark on their forehead.  Moku had none of this, possibly traits from his father, or maybe because of his mutation.

He shown no real ninja tools except for 6 bone kunai which he had produced on the walk to his current location in the Elder Forest.  He wore black pants with a red stripe down the side, with a thick but soft material.  He wore a wind breaker of the same style, though even thicker.  Beneath his wind breaker was a green vest made of a light cloth.  He wore a special necklace from which hung a cross with no real purpose and not much known about it.  He had preferred not to research it, valuing it sentimentally over materially.

Pretty soon, Ryujin would be arriving... he’d know where Moku was.  They had spent a lot of time in this area, training.  He’d likely be in a completely rage-induced trance, as though the world around him did not matter.  Just he and his victim.  Moku’s face transformed.  He wiped his eyes with his forearm, and when he removed it, his expression was completely cold.  The reddening in his eyes would ease, though not completely disappear... Moku stood now, as if he was proud if a deed he had never done.  He stood in no fear of a sneak attack or ambush... Ryujin would likely not do so, and more likely, he would ask Moku if he had really done such a thing.  Moku’s answer would of course be yes... the future of the two men could possibly completely cease.

~At Long last...~

Rage,Heat,Moistness, Sadness, and Malevolent. All te feelings describing Ryujin. He could be heard screaming with a distorted after-sound. A heat felt all around. Moist. The feeling of a demon. He felt the black chakra cover him. He shook violently at the zenith of the village. This caused the birds to fly from the jungle. Like a king of the jungle mess. But not as...heart warming. He wailed again, this time...one of pure rage. The village shook as the major hill that the young jin stood on nearly broke apart.  The crumbling...the falling apart. Ironic how this was like his life. The village people could be heard screaming as the sirens could be heard sounding. A jinchuuriki meltdown. Like a nuclear reactor the remaining ANBU had the civilians evacuate immediately. All jounin and Chuunin called to the scene. He began to run at his full might. His steps caused the ground and earth to rattle and crack lightly. The black chakra signature heating up. He jumped on the rooftops. He saw a chuunin jump at him...A brutal beating that one got. The chuunin jumped up only to get kicked back down to the earth with a hard axe kick.  This caused more carnal rage to fill the jin. The chuunin needed to be hospitalized. As he got closer to the training area the jounin began to hound him. But since he almost couldn't be stopped, they faltered fast. One jumped to contain Ryu only to have his arm's snapped like twigs and thrown at another chuunin. A carnal scream from him. This time with legible words.

"DEATH TO ALL WHO OPPOSE ME! MOKUNTAKU KAGUYA....YOU ARE NEXT!"

The voice of gravel can be heard. The only key to fully bring out the beast was to have the jin be wounded severely. He soon came onto the training grounds. As the air and ground began to wave. He jumped right in front of Moku. About 10 meters away. His tight purple and green ninja garb showed off the strain on his muscles. The baggy black shinobi pants shook wildly. He had a demonic smirk. His black bang moving from his eyes as the left one was off. It was cosmetic. It, was green. Signalling a robotic scope being put in there. It had a bright green flash. It illuminated his face almosted. And by the way his hair moved, it flickered. The Nanabi began to speak to the boy. Feeding into his rage.

"Well hello again Gaki. I see that you are liking the taste of my power nicely. Like a sort of RAGE brought you here...Join me...and we could make this village a Holocaust in seconds...

The boy was blind. He  screeched loudly. He then came from this, and literally broke the ground as he dashed at the man he once called a friend. Mokuntaku Kaguya. He  came in with a bone crunching punch. This punch, was a hay-maker. This could ruin bodies with this punch. This speed with and bijuu added strength only added to it. He wanted to end him. He wanted to fall into darkness. He wanted...to destroy. He honestly is on the breaking point for his bijuu. He was an inch from losing his light. He was dying inside. He was ready. This punch, if it came into contact, it would most likely punch Moku through the tree because of it's angle, and raw power. The punch would also blow him back. This would be true pain for the jin. His feral rage making him blind in his peripheral vision. And the village ninja  already surrounded the Kaguya and Jin. They began to launch an attack on the jin but he was swift. The attack the shinobi used against the jin was hard hitting, but the jin had already wrecked their starting line with a vicious shockwave of pure aura. They fell down fast.  Like little dominoes almost. He turned his attention onto Mokuntaku. His unbridaled rage shot up. This was a hard shaking feel. He shook hard as he simply stared at his friend. Remembering his face before he gave away his will to Nanabi. He had no light left in him... He lost that with Moku. He snarled finally as he performed a simple c rank jutsu. He perfomed the needed seals. He jumped towards Moku as he opened his mouth. As this happened, got a huge knockback. This, was Suiton: Teppodama. A staple water move. This basketball sized bullet shot at his friend at 65 mph. It had the killing power of a bullet. If Moku took this, it might seriously hurt him.  The knockback was about 5 feet back into the air. He landed on the ground. Causing it to rattle. He only stared. Looking deranged. He stood up on his two legs, and laughed manically. A furious set of rage to cause a calm soul this much change. He tauted the Kaguya. He laughed and pitied the man. He has grown cocky with the strange feeling he was getting. He was slowly losing his humanity.

Get a Grip

Vengeance... the Kaguya wanted to cry as he realized what now drove his student. It was no longer to protect. The normal happy boy was almost completely gone. As if those he needed to protect were gone... but of course, they were. At least as much as Ryujin saw. His best friend had killed his mother. Even if this was not true, Ryujin believed it. Vengeance gripped his student as Moku could see sanity and humanity slipping away. He could tell... it was the eyes. They not only physically changed but their emotional aura was... demonic at the very least.

He watched his student heartlessly destroy so many Shinobi... his FRIENDS. If Moku was not on a very important mission here, he would have turned his head and lost his last meal. The sadness within the Jounin only surfaced in a hard, stone cold face. It was as if he were fossilized in this expression. No emotion. None. The brows didn’t move, he hardly blinked, his jaw was closed tightly but not enough to be considered clenched. The Kaguya was now completely unreadable.

He turned his head now, to his comrades; “All of you. Get back, or I’ll kill you too. I want the runt. I have not been found guilty of this murder and if you disobey me I have the authority to kill you where you stand for insubordination.” Heartless... cold... he nearly shivered at the malevolence in his own voice, almost frightened by how evil he sounded. Slowly, the attacking Shinobi retreated. Some reluctantly, some angrily, and some so full of fear that by the time Moku had said “get back” they were gone before he finished his phrase. It was for their own protection... whether he let them know that or not.

He did not speak, but he heard his thoughts as loudly and as clearly as if he were. “Come on Ryujin... take control... YOU are the Jinchuuriki, tell that damned Nanabi who’s boss. I believe in you... you have the willpower, you have the drive. You just need to find the purpose. Find a purpose within yourself and you can overpower that thing.” The Kaguya’s fists clenched. It would not be long... the men had moved back. The Jinchuuriki’s only target or distraction was now Moku.

Was it... fear he felt? As his friend stepped off and the ground beneath him broke, was this sensation within Moku’s gut... was it fear? Why was he scared? He’d seen Jinchuuriki go on their rampages before. The first tail was never too bad, and Ryujin had not even completely reached this point yet. So why was he afraid? Was it because for the first time, he had to fight his own friend who was directly intent on killing Moku? Or perhaps it was simply for the fact that containing a Jinchuuriki and killing one were two entirely different stories. Everyone knew containing was more difficult.

It was as if everything happened in slow motion. His heart pounded. He could hear his breath distinctly. He felt his senses heighten, his awareness of the surrounding area spike. It was adrenaline. He recognized the feel perfectly. He had never felt this much without physically stimulating it with his Tansososa. He felt his blood pump in his ears. The pure desire to survive. That’s what caused adrenaline to pour itself into your bloodstream. Fear. Survival. Competition. He felt all three of these emotions, each known to pump this hormone into your bloodstream.

Now. It was time to take action. Ryujin sprang at Moku, the ground cracking beneath the Jinchuuriki’s feet. Moku’s expression remained constant, unchanged. Now? No. Wait... wait... the Jinchuuriki was nearly upon him before Moku felt it time to move. He lowered himself with his knees bent into a ready stance. He saw the arm of the Jinchuuriki raise itself to strike. Waiting until the very last second, the Jounin sprang backwards, moving so quickly that he could hardly keep himself on the ground.

Just as he stabilized himself, the next attack was flying through the dust at the Kaguya. It wasn’t a threat. The distance worked for him, and with his A-Ranked speed, he was easily able to hurl himself around the basketball sized spitball. He heard it slam into a tree behind him, not turning to look, but he assumed it would brutally damage it. The power of Jinchuuriki was immense. It was hard to contain such power, and it was even harder to use it with precision.

Moku now slowed to a walk. He was walking counter-clockwise around his pupil at about seven meters away. He was seen to have his guard down, however in his mind he was prepared for anything. Suiton, physical attacks... he even strained his ears and senses for a possible attack from behind or from the side. He spoke directly to the enraged boy; “You know... this small level of speed... it’s why it was so simple to kill your mother. You’re moving recklessly. If you can even hope to not wind up like her, you are going to have to get a grip.” Moku’s right eye, the one that could not be seen by the boy, released a tear as he thought about what he was saying.”

~To Add Insult To Injury~

Now, the tree that got hit with the c-ranked suiton jutsu, with the added strength due to the Nanabi's shear chakra, snapped like a twig.  The sound of the snap resonated. It repeated in his head. It wouldn't stop cracking. It wouldn't stop...irritating him. The snap brought the jinchuuriki into his mind. The 7 tails already looking grim. Like "the jig is up". The boy remembered his once good friend...how he would train into his clan's Kekkei Genkai. The warm heat. The sounds of the bone morphing, snapping,  changing. The boy reflected on this. He first saw when he was a small boy, how he would sit in the trees and watch Mokuntaku. Then it flashed into when he had been inducted into the academy right after Moku graduated. The next, how he finnally became a genin. How Moku was already pressing into the Chuunin exams. Then, when he barely triumphed over the final round. All without Nanabi's help. Then, most recently, when he saw Moku and the Jounin council  finally accepted him as a Special Jounin. He went back to remember how distant he was made to the village...How fellow Kaguya didn't take him for notice. How he pursued on...to finally find true peace. Peace of mind. Peace of Heart. Peace of body. And Peace of Soul.  He always wanted to find true understanding. This, is where he began to hold a more...sentimental conversation with the 7-Tailed-Beast.

"I sense your pain....gaki. I see your drive...your passion, and I now feed upon your rage. Why is that? Because you are the most simple-minded, dim-witted, agonizingly similar to me, and most of all...Passionate. But, you must know your path...just as I know with mine. Our paths, do not go te same way. One of us must take control. I will not cease until I am at peace with what you do. But don't falter, or else I might succeed in taking control of you, destroying you, and that little village of Kusamuragakure...

Yes...quite deep. Beauty in the words of a mad-man in a shell. Shell-shockingly so. No pun intended. The jin, now frozen. Frozen in each passing breath. He was honestly confused. His body, now in control of the Nanabi. Like a puppet. In the boy's mind..a slight orb of gold. Much like his heart. He took notice of the orb's brilliance in mere seconds. The orb represents the drive, the will, the passion,....the heart. Things that the Nanabi hadn't touched yet. Things that he still had control of, and could use to regain control.

"I-i see...I-i see..love....One mustn't have hold love without the risk of hate...I fell for the latter...I must use my mental will to purge this monster of control over my body. I didn't need him before...and I don't now...."

~The On-coming Assault...~

The jinchuuriki, nay, his body, covered in the demonic charka of black. The ground, trembled in his wake. His demonic, other-worldly gaze upon the Kaguya. A chakra added spark of movement it started with. Matching the speed of a B-rank user. The burst however, only happened due to the burst of chakra applied to the feet of the young man. This, came with a hard, momentum packed kick towards the Kaguya. From the next part of the assault, a hard impacting head-but. This, aimed at the Kaguya's nose, was meant to stun the Jounin. This, was a war on the inside, from the tailed beast point of view.

So...this man...caused Ryujin pain...Much like I have....Strange....

The tailed beast pondered ever so slightly as he came in with a fast rush of punches and kicks, all aimed to hurt the Kaguya. This assult is started with a swift kick towards the Kaguya's spine, done by a right roundhouse kick. Then from there a fast, hop step knee shifted the weight from his right leg to his left leg aimed at the Kaguya's stomach. Then from there a hard, downward elbow towards the Kaguya's shoulder blade, aiming to toss the man off balence. Soon after this vicious assult, a thick, dense tail of black sprouted from the jin. The full one-tailed-chakra-cloak.

So I finally pushed the boy to bring out the tail. Nice...Now to cause havoc.

Now, in a feral stance, the jinchuriki stood. Maddening on the insides as his mind was being corrupted. The Nanabi's mind and the vassals minds began to fuse at this point. Painful since Ryujin is an individual.

Revenge Can Be a Great Motivator Rayne_render_4_by_moonlighdance-d3i0z6z
Emptiness
It was all slipping away.  Emotions.  Fear, anger, sadness, guilt... it had all flooded his brain, not allowing for rational thought to break through.  It all... simply began to fade.  He discarded anger, discarded grief, and focused primarily on the mission at hand;  training a Jinchuuriki of Kusamuragakure to be able to at the very least communicate with the Bijuu inside.  The cost that it took to complete this mission left his mind and for this moment, for this very split second, he was an emotionless machine programmed to make his friend think he was going to die by Moku’s hands.

Fears going unforgiven after the completion of this mission quickly began to disperse and in their place, the simple programming and manual override system kick-started inside his brain all that was before him was a Jinchuuriki named Ryujin.  He didn’t know this man.  He was not a friend.  He meant nothing to Moku, he was just another objective for just another mission.  Is he an android?  No... throughout the years Moku seemed to enter this little trance when he became overridden with emotion.  The safety of his comrades was no longer in consideration for his actions, and the mission objective was all that lay before him.

It took Ryujin ages to lift his foot.  It took ages for the foot to once more pound against the ground, and it took ages for him to bring the other forward, lifting it and pounding it against the ground.  The process continued, until after what felt like lifetimes later, the Jinchuuriki arrived at his target:  Moku.  He’d been preparing a defense however... his chakra lay in the ground beneath him, and from the ground beneath him erupted bone.  Not just any bone;  the feared bone of the Kaguya clan.  In a four corner form, bone which at it’s widest point was a good 2 feet thick and at it’s thinnest point resembled the tip of it’s needle erupted into a tipi form in each of the Cardinal Directions of his opponent, making a dodge while still on ground near impossible.

Because of the fact that his opponent was on one foot in an attempt to kick Moku, being impaled by the points of the bone pillars was going to be difficult to avoid.  They were aimed to strike at near chest level and erupted very quickly and immediately, making any and all maneuvers already requiring to be well-executed;  being on one foot wouldn’t help, and taking the time to re-plant his foot to maneuver was time his opponent would fairly likely be deprived of.

As if this was not enough, Moku was already drawing the kunai he’d made of bone and gripping it tightly in his hand.  Were his target to escape in the form of a jump or dive, Moku would hurtle the bone kunai at his opponent, attempting to strike whichever vital point was closest and clearest given the circumstances.  Neither attack would kill the boy... but he’d likely pass out and be unable to take active movements for awhile, perhaps a few days.

Emotionless... empty... was this what was left of the Kaguya’s legendary Mokuntaku?  Complete and utter willingness to maim the man that could have been considered a friend before his emotional transformation?  His eyes were contempt.  Comfortable.  This was his most effective state of mind;  his deadliest, and that which produced the best notable results in his missions.  This was the state of mind that kept him alive and safe, that gifted him life and success.  Perhaps in this instance... it would deprive him of love.

~Can Sea Lions Roar?~

Stabbed. Impaled. Kabobbed. Skewered. Ryujin Takashi looked like he was stuck in place by the several bones poking from him. All around. His leg was still up like a ballerina manikin. His face covered in pain and grimace. Though his voice came off with gravel and pain...he spoke harshly. His demonic eyes piercing a gaze at Mokuntaku. Ryujin had a deep down hatred in him now. He wanted to ruin Moku like he did him. So much rage... So much demonic chakra. The constant drip of crimson blood. Body heating up due to the blood coming. His pupils began to glass over a bit.

"I hate you.....Moku.....you ruined my life.....You! You took.....the....final key to my lock.....and destroyed it....I breath this black....I speak these words....of my own ACCORD! I WILL BECOME A GOD AMONGST MEN....AND I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING YOU HAVE AND HOLD DEAR!....Just like you did to me..."

The heavy breaths... The beading crimson. Dripping from the skin of a once mortal. Now a demon at heart. The darkest part of being a jin hasn't been scratched by this change. But this change is indeed a drastic one. The final glimpse. He is losing sight. He is fading slowly. The black chakra like a slight whimper. His body has reached it's present limit. The eyes....the transformation...the rage.....began to fade way. Like the waves hitting a sand bar. He lost consciousness...

His mother. He could only remember her face...her love...her resolve. Her beauty. Her masterful Shurikenjutsu skill. Things he only scratched to achieve. How he practiced every day. How he paled to her prime usage.  He sighed in his sub-conscious. He saw how hard and how far he came. How the Nanabi impacted his life. How his father left the world. How his friend...turned his back on him. How he watched his friend train every day when he was a small boy. How he watched his friend perform so well....something he tried to emulate. But no more....

The Conclusion
The flash of possible death before him. So real yet so untrue. His face shattered. Realization dawned upon him and his expression while looking at his friend, impaled, could make one think Moku had just discovered him. As if he had no part in anything that had previously occurred. Moku was just arriving at the scene. The monster who’d done this was gone now, and what was left was Moku, the real Moku, staring at a dying friend. Nothing passed through his mind. He was blank. Empty. Was it awe? Was it trauma? No? What then..?

Slowly at first, then faster. Then so fast that Moku could swear someone wrung his brain out like a wet towel and pushed it through a paper shredder. It all came back to him. What he’d done. What that monster who he refused to believe was Moku had done. The sin. The deathly choice of both emotionally and physically destroying the only person he could call a friend. Then the emotion came back. The fear, the sadness, and... anger? Was he angry? Why was he angry? Was it the village elders? Ryujin even? Was he angry with Ryujin for actually having a... mother?

Mouth closed. Teeth clenched. Muscles tightened and blood pumped. Awareness was coming back and he could once more feel his body. Before him was a dying friend. Why was he still? The bones produced from Shikotsumyaku: Erupt retracted back into the ground and Moku was moving. He scooped up the Jinchuuriki with gaping wounds in his body and hurtled through the Jungle. Stumbling. Tears trailed behind him and multiple times he slammed into surrounding trees, blinded by the sudden moisture in his eyes. Damn him... could he never keep a grip on his emotions?

Gradually, more and more scratches began to line his face. His arms and legs were not excused from the torture as he ran, his bleeding friend in his arms. He was moving almost subconsciously, unaware at first as to where he was going, before it dawned on him that he was heading toward the location of the medic ninja and the boy’s mother. Trip. Stumble. Bang. Cut. As he tore through the Jungle his body was abused, tortured. He collided with the ground multiple times, but somehow no matter how much his body took, his friend remained untouched by the dangers of the Jungle.

High-ranked ninja from Kusamuragakure trailed behind him and projectiles whizzed past his face constantly. On top of generally being a very fast Shinobi, the adrenaline, the emotion, and the fear pumped through him and he moved faster than he ever had. Or maybe he wasn’t, and the emotion was just playing with his mind. Either way, the organ behind the eyes of the Jounin saw the trees whip past at lightning speed, unsure of exactly how far he’d traveled. He’d be completely lost if it weren’t for the extensive planning and training for this mission, the location was drilled into his head.

He was convinced his legs stopped of their own accord. As if his mind had no part in the motions and functions of his body, his legs somehow carried him and stopped directly outside his destination, leaving him staring at what anyone else would call a completely featureless landscape. There was in fact a small wooden door laying across the ground opening way to a cellar beneath the ground. It was all masked in Genjutsu and even Moku could not tell where the door was. He racked his brain, struggling to remember the signal he was supposed to send for the men below to release the Genjutsu. No avail.

Maybe they’d heard him. It seemed as if a Kusamuragakure ANBU materialized from beneath the ground before the false leaves beneath him seemed to liquidize and melt away into reality. There was the smallest door beside the feet of the ANBU Shinobi. Moku noticed it just before the Shinobi across from him ripped Ryujin from his arms. His unconscious friend seemed dead. The gaping holes and blood all over the place could deceive even the most aware individuals. There was screaming around him, but he couldn’t make any of it out. There was a confrontation between the ninja pursuing Moku and the ANBU guarding the boy’s mother. Moku was probably screaming too, but he was completely unsure and unaware as to whether he was. There were female screams beneath him too. Probably Ryujin’s mother freaking out about seeing her son so damaged.

It’d be an easy task to heal Ryujin. Not hard, simply time consuming. That was when Moku tore aware. Horrified at his betrayal, he flung himself through the Jungle, now so aware that he could easily travel through the tree-tops with perfect coordination. He hurtled toward the village to report to the council of the completion of the mission. It was not smart to allow an entire village of high-class Shinobi to believe he committed a murder for too long. He’d be tracked down and out-manned soon enough... it was inevitable.

~Un(common) Misconception~

Wind. The passing wind blows. The feelings of shaking. Tumbling. Moist air. Pollen. Humidity. Moistness. He seemed to be a warrior in the roughest of seas. At least...in his mind at least. He was tormented. The world, spiraling in. His world began to cave and crack at the seems. He lost his best friend, his mother, and now his life. At least this is how he thought. He began to drift on the seas. He saw a light. He was coming to. He was surrounded by many medical ANBU and a figure. She was to far back to make it out. His blood loss made his view haze. He only caught a fast glimpse. His consciousness tended to making him flash between blackness, a slow....flash of white light (a flash that is truly a true beauty. The beams of the coming light would dance regally. A waltz of pure comfort and....closure.) the tailed beast, and....the forever changing sights he saw. Mostly of medical nin. Was he....mortally wounded? He heard faint cries. True...blood curdling screams. Another flash. To the Nanabi. The scene that Ryujin sees now...is the beast. Sitting in front of him. The area, a library. Various poems and other books are streamed along the bookshelves and floor. The beast, wise yet....sadistically staring at the young man. It indeed began it's belittlement here.

"Hello Gaki! How is your....mother....Dead? Risking my life like that... YOU IMBECILE! You and your pathetic body couldn't keep up with my demands.....FOOLISH! WORTHLESS HUMANS!"

The constant echo. The repetition of the same words.  He searches...deep inside the library. The library of his mind. The techniques...the beauty....the food....the jokes....the poems and rhymes... His creativity. In a sudden flash... he saw the ideas and beauty corrode and fade. Burning like many religious books. All now of ash. Or of the millions of Jewish bodies. Mental Holocaust. He watched horrified by the final sight. His body. Stacked upon the many books and psychological bodies. This...corroded Ryujin Takashi's mind. He awoke in a new state.

~Metamorphosis~

He awoke. His sight, though a bedside of fellow shinobi and his mother, he seemed...disjointed. As if he had gone through...a Metamorphosis. A Dark one indeed. He saw his mom and nearly jumped out of his bed.

"M-mother!? Y-you are alive......How...."

His mother however, soon got into a coughing fit. She waved to her son as she moved away to avoid coughing on him the sleeping medication....slowly....slowly.......slowly......kicked in.

~Goodnight~
