Cornelia walked into the office of the Kanetsukage with a small handheld scroll in hand. She had just graduated from the ninja academy and was ready and willing to put herself to the grind. She wasn't like most of the other genin who were thinking of grand dreams of going off to fight single handed wars, she was more down to earth. She knew that starting at the bottom was something she was going to have to do. She opened knocked several times of the door to the kage and entered and once inside, she walked up to only a few feet in front of the desk. She would hold out her hand for the kage to take the scroll.

The kage sat at his desk, doing his usual paperwork when the genin entered. He only briefly took his eyes away from his paperwork to notice but quickly went back to work. There was a moment of silence till he looked up to see her holding out a scroll. He would stare at it and take it, opening it and then, reading it over. It was a mission but upon seeing the rank, he rolled it back up in silence. "By all means, help yourself." and he would then go back to his work.

Cornelia would blink several times before taking the scroll, he did not even have enough time to properly look it over. She would take the scroll and then leave. There was a cat to find.

Cornelia returned to the kage that she had left only a few hours prior, this time, he would know why as the mission for saving the cats had brought her back to this very same office. A mission was a mission and she was sure that she would be seeing more of him more often.
