Description: The Chikyu-jin is elegant in design, its blade seemingly made of hard steel with three squares towards its base and just below it, a sideways 'L' though the blade itself is dull but does come to a sharp point at its tip. The guard of the blade is silver in color and a full circle used to protect the wielder's grasp. A white cloth wraps just under the guard and just below halfway toward the handle. The base of the handle is made of the same silver as the guard and two more rings wrapped above this.

The scabbard is just as elaborate as the weapon, having one side of seemingly normal made while the top side of the upper portion of the case jets out like a wave or wing. The feather's spread out along just a bit lower and into a stylish design of it own. There is a repeat of the lower handle of the sword on the tip of the scabbard and just above the rings is a solid metal plate with a small, thin rope strapped from its top to its bottom. There are two more rings just after that. The weapon is about 1.2 Meters long including the 30.48 cm hilt and weighs 2.25 lbs.

Abilities: The blade of this Seiwa Tsurugi is able to be coated in doton style chakra (the blade looks as if it is covered in rocks) when the user slams their palm against it. This increases the weight of a struck object/person by double the weight of any object it strikes as well as the sword itself. The ability can affect both inanimate objects and living beings, and is cumulative (For example, the first strike on an opponent wielding a 10 lb sword doubles the opposing sword's weight to 20 lbs and the weight of Chikyu-jin doubles to 4.50 lbs. If it strikes the sword a second time, the weight of the sword doubles to 40 lbs and Chikyu-jin goes up to 9 lbs. Ectect). This ability takes one post to activate and stays active for three posts after, before needing to recharge which takes eight posts after deactivation. These effects last for the duration of the topic they were used in or until Chikyu-jin is sheathed.


History: The Chikyu-jin Sword is the Seiwa Tsurugi of the five sword legend. Kazangakure retrieved this Seiwa Tsurugi by unknown means but was with the village for sometime. The village used was seen producing devistating results at so they could use it freely but soon, the blade was given to skilled swordsmen to attack the villages opponents instantly and without remorse.

The sword was soon lost when Kazangakure turned to ruin and this weapon quickly extend its reach to many different countries and retract itself to the long distant ice lands of Hyougagakure, soon to find itself controlled by a novice's command, but soon found itself in the hands of more and more capable warriors as time passed, soon revealing its secrets slowly. The sword was even used against massive beasts and monsters alike but soon went into secret and not heard of for many years.

After the sword re-emerged from within Hyougagakure, its powers not fitting in within the icy tundra and water using shinobi. It was passed along from one swordsman to the next as it was before till someone would hold onto it for a more permanent wielder.

Not a problem. I'm just not sure as to what.
I did the same thing as the Raijin did with lightning. It's just that Earth release is all about increasing/decreasing. That's why I just picked the adding weight over both. And it goes in intervals over just whatever I desire, gives it a bit of a drawback.

I would allow it if the weight increased the weight of the sword itself too. That would allow it to become more of a "last resort" weapon to use since you already have two extremely powerful weapons. This is for balance purposes. So, just add in that the weight also affects the sword itself, meaning every time you use the blade to increase an object or person's weight, it will increase its own weight by the same intervals and is cumulative.

Edited and done. The weight of the sword doubles along with whatever/whomever is being struck to balance out its power.
