Personality: Proving to be extremely intelligent in what he does Hojo proves to be a great genius second only to Hisame herself. Because of the comments he gets from the other members of the clan he often tries to be a rebel against the elders of the clan simply so that they would not place to much expectancy on him. However by doing this he also tends to make himself stand out more than he actually would like.
Even with the praise of the clan and peers he is still a very humble person. Feeling that he is not worth of the praise only because he has yet to do anything noteable to be known as a great person. With determination and quick wit he wins every challenge placed in front of him, be it a fight or a simple test of the mind.
Likes: Being raised in a clan that stuck so close together Hojo was one that deeply loved every member. However to say that he liked the clan head Hisame would be wrong, Idolized would be a better term which is why he strived so hard to be as great as her if not greater. Outside of the clan he has a deep weakness for cats.

Dislikes:  Hot places are a major thing he chooses to avoid as it just makes him grumpy, mostly because of the effects fire has on him. On top of his hatred for hot places he hates to be in loud areas. After only a short while of being in a loud area he gets a throbbing headache then begins to look for the source to tear it to shreads.

Motivation:  On top of his urge to be a great member of the clan and raise it to greater heights his other motivation is to be as great as his cousin Hisame. Even though he can not use all of the clan jutsus he still trains with the motivation of one day being as great as his cousin and maybe one day fighting with her on the battle field to avenge the once great clan.

Fears:  Failure is always haunting the back of his mind at every moment. He fears that he will fail his family and friends. Even though he has not failed often he still feels that even the smallest failure would end up with dishonoring not only his family name but getting a disapproval from his cousin.

History:  
7 years after the purge of the Metarumasutā Clan a baby was born to Toru Metarumasutā acting head of the Clan. Proving to be skilled at his clan abilities even at a young age he was able to protect himself from harm subconsciously. As he grew up through his young child hood he was taught in the ways of his clan to control his ability a bit better beyond the subconscious self protection. As time went on he proved very skilled in controlling his clan jutsu however could not in any way use the more powerful clan ninjutsu. As such his family did not think much of it and instead began to train him in very basic Taijutsu. This being something he picked up very quickly the family once again smiled at the greatness that had come from their clan. Yet even as he slowly approached the age to when he would join the academy nobody knew tat very soon his entire world would be thrown into complete chaos.
As time went on Hojo grew into a very intelligent young boy, though he had a hard getting along with the other children he did however grow fond of his cousin and idol Hisame. Even at a young age he understood strength amongst the clan members and to him she surpassed everyone, even his own father. When the time finally came for Hojo to join the academy he surpassed everyone's expectations in knowledge. Passing every test with relative easy people began to think he would be a great ninja. However for every great ability he had he still lacked in areas. Though he had the knowledge he was not very skilled in the ninja art Ninjutsu, and just barely able to perform genjutsu. As such he began focusing on the ability of taijutsu, with hand to hand combat and the ability of his clan he perfected a form of combat that would be deadly to his enemies later on down the line. However things would not always be perfect for him. As he turned 9 a horrible moment happened for him, As was his fathers job he went out on one of his many missions for the village. Though he was acting head for the clan he still wished to keep relations between the village and the clan tight. However on his latest mission he was ambushed by a large force of Shippuu ninja. With his fathers death Hojo felt devastated however with his father now dead it was now left to Hisame to take her rightful place as clan head. With her now in charge of the clan he felt that he had to now prove himself to the clan and his cousin that he the son of Toru Metarumasuta was great enough to be a member of this clan. With that he began to train even harder, in his free time he was practicing with his Hagane kawa to be used in his taijutsu. While he was in class he was learning everthing he could about the world and the jutsus that existed within it. In that moment he became a sponge for knowledge that was eager to absorb as much as he could. However his time at the academy quickly came to an end when the teachers found they could no longer teach him anything that he did not already know.
As he graduated from the academy Hojo was excited to finally be just like his cousin, a ninja. As he started to take on missions he slowly began to feel anxious to do real missions and be more like his cousin. As things stood his cousin had now taken over as clan head. With her now in place Hojo lacked the chance to see her as often and when she disappeared he could only feel a sense of something missing in his life. However he continued on to prove that is clan was the greatest in all the world. Performing his missions as quickly as he could he slowly earned a small reputation amongst his peers as a skilled fighter and very skilled at adapting his lack of skill in ninjutsu. With his travels as a Genin he slowly began to learn more about the world as well as the many jutsus that were kept within it. He took every chance he could to learn something new, anything that could help him with his dream of bringing is clan back to its former glory. When he reached the age of 16 he was offered the chance to take the Chunin exams, excited to take a step up in the world and gladly accepted. With the skill that he had attained from countless training sessions and missions he performed he proved himself higher above most of the others taking the same exam, and with that he was happily accepted into the rank of chuunin. Now with the rank of Chuunin under his belt he finally felt that he had something to strive for, not just to prove himself to his clan members or to make his family proud but to acutally prove to the world that his clan was the greatest that has ever existed. However what kind of clan existed with out a head to lead them? It was at that moment that Hojo made a descision, he would find his cousin Hisame and bring her home to lead them to greatness with him at her side after helping her bring it to its former glory that he had heard so much about.
