Village News
The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

It was as hot and humid as normal within the forests of Kusamuragakure. Hisame, new to the area and already not a very big fan of the heat, made her way through the flora to try and map out and learn as much as she could about the area. She knew that the terrain of the area would be a challenge, but she never knew just how much of one it would actually be. Between the bugs, the heat and the giant plants and bushes that blocked her path, Hisame really started to wonder how the shinobi of the land could stand it. I mean sure they could just navigate through the trees, but even the the vines and mosses would surely cause some issues. Either way, Hisame wouldn't be able to enjoy the luxury of navigating through the trees. After all, she wanted to get as much of a layout as she could of the surrounding forests of the village, without being seen by any possible patrolling Kusamura shinobi. So being so she just continued forward, making her way further and further into the jungle.

A few hours into her journey, Hisame had just about had it. She was sweaty and exhausted and was running low on water. She had to find a place to rest soon or this jungle would end up being her grave. Being so she decided that a little risk would be well worth it, as she needed to get some higher elevation to see if there was any place to rest and more importantly, refill her water supply. A few powerful and quick jumps upward gave her just the view she needed, as a clearing of sort could be seen just up a head. Navigating through the trees towards the location, the ever so appealing sound of water sounded in her ears. After just a few moments later, Hisame would find herself at the clearing. What she would find there would put her greatly at ease. She quickly scaled down the trees and made her way over to her discovery.

A decently high cliff and flowing waterfall filled Hisame's eyes with relief. The sound would keep away any unwanted wildlife, plus it provided a source of water for her. Not only that but at the base of the falls was a pleasant, circular pond. This was certainly a good find for the exhausted women. Upon closer inspection of the pond, Hisame could see fish swimming around. Certainly she could save some of her food by catching and eating some fish. She patrolled the outer edge of the area, checking for any other signs of human activity. She figured that surely the shinobi of the land knew about the area. After all they lived here and should know most of the surrounding area of it. Being this, she would have to make sure to keep her senses sharp, as to not fall prey to a surprise attack or anything.

Once Hisame had checked the full perimeter of the area and made sure it was safe, she settled down and made camp. It wasn't getting dark just yet, but she probably wasn't going to get any better chance to relax then now. After she gathered what she needed for a fire later, she decided to draw her attention to the fish in the pond. She took off some of her upper layers of clothes, though she already was wearing pretty light clothing to accommodate to the land. Once down to just her undershirt and underwear, she jumped into the water. The cool refreshing feel of the water brought new life to her as she swam around, diving every once and a while to see the whereabouts of the fish. Kunai in hand, she would find footing on some nearby rocks and keenly catch her some fish. After about ten minutes of missing, relocating and retrieving her kunai, she had manged to catch four fish, certainly enough for her to each and probably then some. With that she swam back to dry land, put on her shorts and started to set up her fire. She knew it would be approaching dusk soon, so she would have to get ready before the night set in and hopefully once night fell, her worries of other shinobi would vanish as well.

"Hmm... Almost time now.." Delilah was laying at the base of a large oak tree just outside the village, talking to herself as she looked up into the sky, waiting for the time of day where it was just starting to turn orange. She had it down to a very routine schedule by now, once the sky got orange, she made her way to the waterfall, so that she'd arrive there when it was dark; and not only would no one bother her but she could practice in the refreshing mist under the night time sky full of stars. Then, afterwards, she'd go for a quick swim to bathe herself, and then she would go home to rest. It wasn't like she did not enjoy company, it's just that she felt so horribly awkward around people sometimes, and she never really knew why.

After about 10 more minutes of waiting, Delilah saw the sky begin to turn just the right shade, and she quickly hopped up onto her feet, dusting her bottom off and setting out towards the waterfall that she enjoyed visiting so much, humming a happy little tune to herself. She easily navigated the dense forest, hopping through tree branches at a leisurely pace, not wanting to tire herself out before she even started practicing. She had done that the past few times, and she'd finally begun to learn to pace herself; after all getting there faster wasn't always a good thing. As she moved on through the trees, she took her time to admire the scenery around her, all the flora beautifully bursting with life, and all of the animals going about their standard day to day lives, completely at peace and at the same time fully aware of their surroundings, as if relaxed and on edge at the same time. It reminded her of her sheathe, patience, for a moment, and as she got distracted on the topic of her sword she missed a branch and fell out of the trees, tumbling to the ground. Letting out a loud shriek, she would scramble to catch some sort of vine or branch to save herself with, but she failed to do so and landed firmly on her ass.

"Ooof! God... I need to stop getting distracted like that...." She said angrily, cursing herself under her breathe for a moment before getting up and dusting her bottom off for the second time in once hour. She was close enough to the waterfall to walk now, anyway, so she just shrugged and kept going along the jungle floor. She also made a point, now, to grab onto her sheathe firmly, as if expecting some sort of attack, but really the sheathe just gave her better focus and clarity then most people even of chuunin rank when ever she held onto it. It was an easy fix to her distraction problem, so she had made a rather large habit of it as of late. "Don't worry, Petri. We're almost there..." She said, smiling over her shoulder and looking straight at the orb of chakra that was normally invisible to anyone but her or other Xanadu. She had named it Petri, decidedly pretending that it was her friend since she didn't really have any to speak of.

She took a deep breathe as she finally arrived at her destination, and surprisingly enough she had gotten there before it was dark, but as she walked towards the clearing with the pond in the middle of it she noticed a beautiful woman undressing in preparation to swim in the pond. Delilah froze, blushing softly and watching as quietly as possible, ashamed of herself for staring at the half naked woman as she got into the water and swam around, diving every now and then. She watched quietly for nearly 7 minutes before she shook her head sharply and waited for the woman to go underwater again. The moment the woman did so, Delilah quickly bolted to the left, back into the forest a little ways. Blushing heavily, she sat behind a tree a little ways out, breathing heavily and gulping a bit. "P-petri! There's someone at our spot! W-what should I do?" She asked nervously, starting to bite her finger nails anxiously as she thought intensely on the subject. She muttered something inaudible to herself, mocking a response from 'Petri', and then smiled a bit, standing up and trying her best to relax at least a little bit. "Alright then, Petri... Let's do it... I'll wait a couple minutes and then go in, like I've only just arrived, like you said~" She said to herself quietly, before walking slowly back towards the pond.

2 or 3 minutes later, Delilah heard the strange woman getting out of the water as she approached the pond, walking at as slow a pace as she could manage. As she peered around the final tree before hitting the clearing, Delilah saw the woman beginning to set up a small fire for herself, with 4 freshly caught fish that Delilah assumed she was going to be cooking and eating. She hesitated for just a moment, an awkward fluttering feeling in her gut making her apprehensive to approach the woman at all now that she was about to do it; but she did her best to ignore the feeling and stood up straight. She took a long, deep breathe, gulped, and walked boldly into the clearing, smiling an awkward, toothy smile that was obviously not well practiced. She wanted to announce her self clearly and in a friendly manner, knowing that some people could get quite violent when they were spooked. "H-hello? Miss? I'm sorry if I'm bugging you, it's just... I usually practice here at night... You don't mind, do you?" She asked, trying to sound sweet and innocent, forgetting to take her hand off of her bladed sheathe, not really realizing that the hand on the sheathe could be conceived to be an offensive stance.

Hisame poked at the fire, getting it to spark and crackle as the flames started up. She tried to remain as calm as possible, as a presence became known to her attention far before the awkward sound of a strangers voice would reach her ears. She looked up from the fire to see who the stranger was. To what she would find was much different then she expected. As their eyes made contact, and her words reached Hisame, she immediately started analyzing the girl. She was a cute little thing, probably standing at an estimated 4 feet, maybe a little taller, she had beautiful blonde hair which would just help draw attention to her pair of crystal blue eyes. She also didn't seem to be too much younger than Hismae, though it was to early to confirm, given how short the girl was. Her attire seemed pretty accustomed to the surrounding area, leading Hisame to believe she was most likely from the village. The blade at the girls side would just further lead Hisame to suspect this as well.

Though it only took Hisame a brief moment to look over the girl, the thoughts that she had to quickly process would be key to how she handled the situation best. The girl before her had a weapon, and what worried her about it was that she was holding it. This confused her slightly since the girl had approached her directly, as if she was intruding on Hisame and not the other way around. Was it that she really had no intention of conflict, or was it a trick for her to lower her guard. Either way, it didn't seem like the girl had any ill intent towards her. If she did, then why would she approach her as she did? She could of had the element of surprise and just attacked right away, far or from above. These factors all seemed to register within seconds of each other, all in the confines of Hisame's mind. Against her typical means of dispatching an enemy quickly, Hisame would settle on the idea that the girl meant her no harm, though she would keep her kunai within reach if need be.

With the few moments that passed, Hisame would look back down at the fire and poke it a few more times to make it spark up a bit more before turning back to the girl. Trying to seem as friendly as possible, she smiled lightly and spoke. "Oh no trouble, I'm merely taking the time to rest from my travels here, so by all means, do as you wish. After all, I would hate to take away the chance for you to practice." With that said, she returned to the fire and blew on it a bit, allowing it to finally come to life. With that done she would be able to cook the fish when she was ready to eat. So with that done she stood up and walked over to a nearby rock, which the rest of her clothes and pack were located. She sat down and leaned up against the cold, hard stone, allowing herself to be gripped by both its chill and the warmth of the fire. She then turned back towards the girl as spoke once more. "Matter of fact, I hope you don't mind if I watch? It has been a while since I've ran into another person along my travels, so the extra liveliness would be a nice change." She smiled again, trying to once again, come across as friendly as possible. After all she seemed to be pretty lucky that this young women didn't want to try to harm her in any way and Hisame wanted to try to keep it that way.

For the brief moment that Hisame took to size Delilah up, she bit onto her lip, shifting awkwardly from one foot to the other and desperately trying to maintain a friendly appearance for the other woman. She wanted to make a good impression, though she wasn't really sure why. All she knew was that she wanted this person to like her. As Delilah waited awkwardly in place for a response, though it didn't take long to get one, a sudden, sharp realization came into her head like someone chucking a brick at her, and she couldn't help but blush brightly as she quickly removed her hand from her hilt and bowed deeply as a silent apology, the realization she had being that her hand on the sheathe had to look somewhat offensive to this strange woman. She didn't speak, and this awkward display would be difficult to decipher, however one could assume, in the end, that she was apologizing for arriving with her hand on her weapon since she made such a big point of removing her hand and then bowing.

Another strange movement that Delilah made now was to bat sharply at the air off to her side a little bit, her lips forming into a pout and her cheeks puffing up for some reason. What she had smacked was the invisible ball of chakra she called 'Petri', pretending that it had said something rude. This was more as a tactic to relieve the awkward feeling deep inside her as she stood still in front of the stranger. With a soft gulp, she shifted her weight again and brought her left hand up to grab onto her right arm, rubbing it softly. She couldn't figure out why she felt so uncomfortable, but she didn't like it one bit. Listening closely to what the stranger had to say, her head perked up as she heard that the woman was some sort of traveler, her eyes widening just a bit with intrigue. "Well, I'm glad you don't mind!~" She said, her voice cracking awkwardly as she spoke, her excitement and awkwardness showing very obviously at this point, making it very clear that she was actually quite uncomfortable for some reason, "And p-pardon the intrusion... but you said you were a traveler, yes? Where do you... Where do you come from? Where are you headed?" She was very interested to learn more about the strange traveler she had never seen before, despite how awkward and uncomfortable she felt. She was a curious person anyways, and she thought of this as a good way to practice her social skills anyway, so she was giving conversation a try, no matter how bad she was at it.

Delilah was watching the woman curiously as she walked over to a rock that was sitting nearby, sitting down and leaning up against it. She reflected for a moment on how it would feel to be against the cold stone while the heat of the fire warmed you at the same time. She figured it must feel pretty nice, and as she heard the woman speak again she shook her head, realizing she had allowed herself to get distracted by meaningless details again. Standing up straight as she was addressed by Hisame, she cleared her throat with a quick forced cough, nodding a bit. "No, not at all.... I don't mind if you watch... but... I'm not that great, really... I'm only just a gennin, after all... And I'm terrible at molding chakra. So don't judge me too harshly!" She exclaimed sharply, almost as if she was barking at the woman, her awkward feelings making her feel overly defensive for a moment, but then she quickly corrected her snappy response by bowing deeply once again, only adding to how awkward she looked; it was almost as if the poor girl was falling apart just trying to talk. "S-sorry! I didn't mean to snap like that..." She then sighed with exasperation and shook her head, punching the side of her own head in a comedic manner as she tried to get back on task, pulling out her kunai and two shuriken and going to a nearby tree that had a target carved into it from the previous times she had practiced here. She began taking her frustration out on the target, chucking the weapons at the tree and quickly retrieving them over and over, her accuracy quickly improving over time as she got used to the angle she had to throw at in order to hit the center of the target. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" She muttered at herself angrily, puffing up her cheeks again.

Hisame could only chuckle to herself. The display this young women had managed to put on for her was very much entertaining, not to mention a bit odd. From the very start to finish, she seemed completely out of sorts. Nervous, awkward, disorganized with her thoughts and emotions. No matter how much Hisame picked up on the girls feelings, she couldn't figure out as to exactly why she was feeling that way. Was she really just that clumsy around strangers or others just in general? Hisame wouldn't be able to know without asking, however she certainly didn't want to hurt the poor girls feelings. She was already doing a great job of making a mess of herself without Hisame pointing out strange behavior. Instead she figured she would just go along with it and maybe even make her feel a bit at ease.

Normally, kindness and socializing were not within Hisame's character. She often pointed out people's flaws and within a sharp, insulting manner. However, the girl once again, needed no help in making herself feel like a fool. She seemed quiet aware of her mistakes, though never really catching them before they made their appearance. The biggest of them being that she revealed that she was a genin. Normally a shinobi would never want to share such information, especially with a stranger. One never knew when they could be giving away information that could alter the scale of power in an enemies favor, giving them just the slightest edge come a conflict. Hisame, being such an experienced shinobi, knew this all too well. She brought her hand up to her lips and gently rested it against her lower lip, shifting it over to her cheek and resting her head on it. She considered a thought for a moment. Well she certainly seems rather clueless. Poor little thing, she really must not have a whole lot of experience. Though I guess it really isn't surprising, since she is just a genin. Hisame then lifted her head up off of her hand and continued to watch the girl, realizing that she was doing the very thing the silly young women had asked her to not do, judge her. She shook her head ever so slightly at her own disregard and made her decision. Though the girl would never know what Hisame was thinking at a given moment, the fact that she did bothered her. So with that she figured that answer the girl's questions really wouldn't be a big issue, even if it was completely out of character.

Hisame thought back to the first thing she had asked before going on her little emotional marry-go-round. She asked about the details of Hisame's travels. Normally she wouldn't reveal such information, being she really didn't want to take the chance of someone hearing about her, however this girl seemed like she really wouldn't  be the type to know about such details, especially when they weren't very well know of in general. As she continued to watch the girl she spoke, telling her a few details and leaving the obvious ones that were best left unsaid out. "Oh I really don't have any destination in mind. I kind of just continue to wander along at my leisure. As to where I came from, well... I was in Tsukigakure before this. I actually spent a good bit of time there, but figured it was time to move along and check out someplace new." As she finished talking, she wondered for a moment if she had said just a bit too much but quickly dismissed it, figuring she was being just a bit too paranoid. She already settled on the fact that the girl was no threat, however her training also taught her to never underestimate someone, no matter how they come across. This topic would just battle on through her head though so she figured she would try to change the topic and her thought process.

With the night setting nicely in, Hisame decided that it was probably a good time to eat. She poked the fire and threw a piece of fire wood on it to pick the flame up a bit and grabbed the fish. She then turned to the young women, still training away and said. "Hey why don't you give that a break and come eat something? I have plenty of fish here, far too much for me to eat all by myself." With that said she motioned for the girl to come sit by the fire with her, so that they could talk as Hisame prepared the fish for them to eat.

On about the 5th or 6th retrieval of her weapons, Delilah paused for a bit, taking a long, deep breath and putting away the kunai and shuriken. Then, she regained a calm state of mind by doing her best to ignore the presence of Hisame, using her high capability to focus and concentrating fully on a small, tight grouping of trees. She placed her hand firmly on her sword then and calmly pulled her sheathe out of her belt, the thin blade coating the sheath twinkling slightly in the starlight. She then held the two weapons, sword and sheathe, as though they were a single, connected two handed sword, one hand at the base of the sheath and one at the mid-way section of the handle of the sword. She crouched down slightly, holding the sword back behind her for just a brief moment before dashing into the grove of trees, leaving a large gash on the first tree that she passed by cutting it with the sheath. She followed this up with a spin that struck all the trees around her, leaving several more gashes in the wake of the sheathe. Soon, she was attacking in a seemingly random pattern, striking everything around her, but with a closer analysis of her technique one could tell that she almost seemed to know where she had to strike in order to hit her target, regardless of where it was or how fast she was moving, how much she had spun. She was striking with intense ferocity and impressive (for a gennin) accuracy and purpose, showing that her 'random' movements were all completely intentional. She didn't quite match a chuunin or a jounin, but at the same time she was inexperienced, making this very impressive.

Her sudden burst of focus and concentration began to fade, however, as she found herself thinking of the woman who was currently watching her, thinking of how pretty she was in the water and the sight of her in her underwear and a t-shirt. She tried to shake these thoughts, cursing herself gently for being so easily distracted before she suddenly froze, blushing heavily as she looked down at her hands. Her suspicions were right, her hand was still firmly placed on her sheath, 'patience', meaning that the only explanation for her to be thinking of the woman right now was some form of genjutsu or mind-altering drug, or she actually wanted to think about the woman. She found herself acting sloppily all of the sudden as her focus was drawn to the woman rather than her own practicing, her intense levels of focus leaving the training and setting itself on thoughts of how beautiful the woman was, how mysterious the random traveler thing seemed, and how much she wanted to strive to talk to her more, so when she was invited to come over to eat with her she nearly squealed with joy, before putting her sword back in her belt and covering her face, her eyes wide with embarrassment. She shook her mind free of all of the thoughts she was having before and awkwardly shambled over to Hisame, taking a seat next to her, maybe a little bit closer than was appropriate, but still not too close for comfort. She was still blushing, and now she was giggling and shifting nervously a lot, occasionally digging her nails into her own leg in a vain attempt to snap herself out of the silly and embarrassing behavior. "Th-thanks.... I'd love something to eat. Sorry, I'm not normally this ridiculous... It's really embarrassing... I don't know what's wrong with me, really. I'm usually really good at focusing and not getting off task, but... I'm having an off night I guess.." She said, honestly not understanding what was going on in the slightest, which was possibly what frustrated her most of all. Why was she feeling this way? It was annoying and counter-productive, it made no sense, and it made it so hard for her to even talk to the woman. "W-what did you say your name was? Sorry, I'm Delilah.."

Hisame smiled as the girl eagerly made her way over and sat next to her. She sat a little closer than Hisame expected, but she wasn't about to complain. She notice the girl seemed even more nervous and fidgety then she was previously. Was she embarrassed and if so, what for? Her swordsmen ship was pretty good for her level of skill and it's not like Hisame had said anything to really embarrass her, or at least she didn't think she did. Perhaps it was the fact of welcoming she was, especially for someone who was a complete stranger to the girl. She may never get an answer, well at unless she asked. As she was about to speak, the girl started talking, all giggling and nervous. She thanked her for inviting her to eat and also apologized for seeming so ridiculous. It became clear that she had no better an idea then Hisame did as to why she acted in such a way. This would save Hisame the need to asked her question, so instead she changed up what she was going to say.

"Oh no problem, everyone has a rough night once and a while. I just figured you were a little nervous because I was watching you practice or something. After all, you come here to practice by yourself, no?" As she asked her own question, she continued to prep the fish for them to eat. She took out all the bones and slide each fish onto the stick she had for them. She then would just set the stick onto two other sticks she has stuck into the group, making a short of little open fire grill. The fire was pretty low, which would allow the fish to cook safely without burning. She estimated probably a good ten to fifteen minutes for the fish. This wait would hardly seem like much of one though, since the two had each other to converse with. While Hisame was setting up the little cooking set up she had, the girl introduced herself and gave out her name. Delilah. It was a cute name, very warm and bright. Hisame would make note to remember it. The next request was for her name though, which for a very brief moment, Hisame's training and paranoia struck. Should I really just tell her my name? The moment past though and she leaned back from the fire pit so the fish could cook and looked at the girl. She smiled and said. "It's a pleasure to, Delilah. My name is Hisame." With that she poked the fire, making it spark and rise a bit more, which would keep the fish cooking at a decent rate, couldn't let them get cold or cook unevenly after all. She once again leaned back and turned to the girl once more, to keep their conversation moving. After all it had been a while since Hisame had some an actual conversation with another person after she fled from Tsukigakure. Though she generally liked being on her own, even someone like her needed someone to talk to from time to time. "So you say you usually come here to practice. I'm guessing this place is pretty special or just not well known of?"

"That might have had something to do with it, too... I don't know, hehe..." She said shakily, in responding to Hisame's comment about thinking her nervous behavior was due to her being watched. "Yeah, I do... I honestly don't mind though, especially with how beautiful you looked when you were swimming..." She said, forgetting that she had not revealed herself until after Hisame was already out for a little while. She didn't catch her mistake, though and simply continued on as if she hadn't said anything, though it was hard to tell whether or not she actually caught the mistake due to her already embarrassed, fidgety and blushing appearance. Delilah watched intensely as Hisame prepared the fish professionally, smiling at the smell rising from the small campfire. She realized a small pang of hunger deep in her stomach as she waited, but she ignored it as much as possible and focused on more important things, like being a shy and awkward little person. Anyway, as she watched she realized that in no time at all she was back to day-dreaming again, though since it was night it would probably just be normal dreaming? Whatever the case, that's what she was doing, thinking deeply about every moment she had watched Hisame in the water, the sight of the water glistening on her skin, her wet t-shirt clinging to her..... This time Delilah nearly slapped herself so hard she fell backwards, however she managed to catch her balance, rubbing her cheek lightly and pouting angrily. "Shut up, brain!" She said, giggling a little bit afterwards and simply smiling sweetly at Hisame with her eyes closed most of the way.

She shook her head quickly as Hisame introduced herself, biting her lip softly before speaking, "No, no~ The pleasure's all mine, really!" She said, before pausing for a moment and looking down ponderously, as if trying to figure out if she had said the right thing in this situation. Eventually she just shrugged and looked back up at Hisame, her cheeks still red, one more so than the other from the slap she had given herself, and her mouth still forming into several different awkward shapes that looked like they were either meant to be smiles or grimaces of discomfort, or a weird combination of the two. Poor Delilah was trying so hard not to come across as some sort of weirdo, but this stuff was truly difficult for her, more so than any of the ninja training she had done, due to her lack of any social skill at all, or at least what she called a total lack of it. "Well... It's special to me, because I always come here... And that pond is where I end up bathing sometimes... I always take a swim after practicing, and it's usually naked... but this time I can leave that part of the equation out. Don't wanna make it more awkward... Heh.. Other than that, it's really just that people don't come around here at night a lot. When they do they're only just passing through, so it's ok." She said, either the worst part of her embarrassing maelstrom of emotions and social failure mixed together was over, or she had just hit the eye of the storm for now, but she seemed to lighten up quite a bit, talking more freely and only cutely chewing on her lower lip most of the time, though she never made eye contact.

Hisame went back and forth, listening to the strange, amusing girl next to her and the fish. She wanted to make sure they didn't burn or anything, however she didn't want to miss anything the girl was saying either. As rare as it was, Hisame actually was really enjoying the bit of company and conversation that the overly embarrassed and awkward girl provided. She thought to herself within the back of her head how this girl could grow on her. Hisame never really had any friends, not being one to socialize. She did however have one that she regretted having to distance herself from. An old rival and friend back in Tsukigakure. With him in her thoughts she turned and looked at Delilah. Maybe this girl can be the one who fills that spot now. She thought to herself. At that moment of weakness within her mental barrier, Delilah's words rung in her ears and echoed through her brain. One part in particular. Especially with how beautiful you looked when you were swimming.. Now one would think this would bother Hisame, however it didn't. Instead she actually felt a bit embarrassed, blushing a bit as the thought went through her mind. She couldn't understand it. Why was it she felt this way? A mixture of feelings that were so foreign to her that she just couldn't wrap her head around it.

Hisame focused her attention more on the girl now then ever before. She had to figure out just why she felt so strange, so open with this person. She was always a shut in, keeping everything to herself, never really trying to get close or socialize with others, never wanting to enjoy their company. Now though, she wanted that connection it seemed. Could it have been because she was forced to flee her home and all that she knew, or was it just that somehow, this awkward and embarrassed girl, managed to peak her interest so much that she was willing to cast away all the methods in which she were accustomed to following for these kind of situations? Her curiosity peaked, she relaxed and just continued listening and talking with Delilah. She studied her odd little behaviors that went along with her awkwardness and enjoyed every little embarrassing moment that she performed. She studied as Delilah nibbled on her lower lip, getting the incredibly odd desire to do it for her. This just furthered Hisame's confusion of her own mind and feelings. Never before had she had any such desires beyond her initial goals, so why now was this changing? Was it something that the girl did? A genjutsu or something, no that wasn't it. Hisame was a very skilled shinobi, if she was trapped in a genjutsu of some sort she would have noticed. So why? she asked herself. Why?

Hisame tried to get her thoughts to settle, though she would fail miserably at this, she still attempted to. She tried distracting herself with the fish, checking on how cooked they were. She knew they would still need a bit more time, however she really didn't care. They could have been done and on fire and she still wouldn't give a damn. She just wanted to keep focusing on Delilah and allow the weird feelings to continue to flourish within her. Something other than just pain and anger, paranoia and fear, it was refreshing yet slightly terrifying at the same time. Hisame didn't want to think about it though. She just continued to sit there and listen to Delilah talk. How she would always come to this spot to train and take baths. Such a simple little schedule but it was hers and that's what mattered. Hisame though of what she would normally do. Train, fight, get stronger by any means she could, all for the sake of revenge and self preservation. It saddened her a little, to think her life even now was so based on the anger and hate she still couldn't let go of. However, Delilah didn't seem to be that way, so maybe that's why Hisame had such strange and foreign feelings while being around her. She certainly wouldn't know unless she asked so..."So..Delilah, do you mind if I ask you something? You say you usually come here to train. Obviously it is to become stronger, no? Why do you do it? What is your motivation to become strong?" Hisame blushed a little bit when she asked the question. She didn't know why but she seemed a bit a silly asking such a personal question. She fidgeted a bit, biting down on her lower lip slightly, awaiting the response of the girl that she now so wanted to understand, if only to understand herself a bit more in turn.

Delilah noticed Hisame starting to blush and giggled to herself a little, but she tried not to make it too obvious what she was giggling about. She liked the look on Hisame's face, and she didn't really know why. The red color painting her cheeks giving it life and color, making it even more beautiful as Delilah began to stare at it without realizing what she was doing. Her hand was, as a habit, resting on her hilt again by now, and as she watched who she considered her new friend, even crush, she realized two things. First, this person was in fact her new crush, and if she let Hisame leave before saying something she'd probably never see the woman again, and that deeply bothered her, in a way she didn't know she could be bothered. It was something yanking suddenly and sharply at her heart, so uncomfortable that she put the idea off to the side, promising herself that she'd say something soon, before Hisame had a chance to leave her behind. Second realization; Hisame was feeling something too. Delilah couldn't possibly know what Hisame was feeling, but all of the information her mind was now gathering, with it's added focus and understanding due to her sheathe 'patience'..... It was suggesting that there were at least some sort of emotions inside Hisame just like there were strong ones inside Delilah. Good... I'm glad. She thought to herself, and then smiled a truly happy smile, one that broke her normal awkward mold and showed how glad she really was. Though she still didn't know what feelings Hisame had, she would have been happy even if they were just friendly feelings towards her. So she was glad.

Then, as Delilah tried to form words in her own head to express how she felt for this strange woman, hopefully in a way that wouldn't make her seem too creepy, she heard the woman speak and brought her hands up to her face, resting on them and letting go of patience again. She was focusing completely on Hisame now, not wanting to miss a single word. She enjoyed the woman's voice, thought it was quite lovely, in fact, and felt she could listen to her talk for hours and hours, and never even feel the need to say anything in return, out of fear of breaking the woman's concentration on what she was talking about. The question that the woman asked, however, was rather unexpected and caught Delilah off guard. What was her reason to train, and get stronger? It wasn't really something she shared with others, and it surely wasn't anything she'd been asked before... But she knew the answer. She'd thought about it a lot in the past. "M-my reason to get stronger? Well... I guess you could say..." She began, starting to blush again and crossing her arms in discomfort, in her own mind trying to figure out how to say this, now. Wow... I didn't expect.. Ok, so how do we say this, brain? C'mon, make me look decent this one time, and I'll get you plenty of sugar later! She said to herself, the thought process making her giggle awkwardly again, still chewing on her lip.

Ironically enough, Delilah's motivations were so far off from Hisame's, that one could compare it to a yin-yang relationship. Rather than hatred and revenge, or any of those dark things, her motivations were very admirable and actually quite joyful in nature, untouched by cruelty though that wasn't to say she hadn't experienced any. She simply kept going no matter what happened, boldly moving along without changing her ways just because others wanted to ruin her day. "My motivations are foolish, maybe... But all the same, you asked, so you can't complain about them!" She began, giggling again as she purposely mocked her precious comment about not judging her, before continuing, "What motivates me is to perfect my Kenjutsu and to become respected and recognized across the entirety of the shinobi nations! But no, not just that... I want to be recognized for helping all of those in need, bringing peace and happiness to all those who have not known it, and for being a friend to all those who are friendless! I want to be respected for how strong I am, no matter what my disadvantages or issues might be. And... Well..." At this part of Delilah's speech she started to freeze up, shifting awkwardly in place as she felt embarrassment overwhelm her at what she was about to disclose to a complete stranger, but she still wanted to say it. Heck, it might even increase her chances with the woman. "A-and... and... My goal is to find love! I want to meet a woman one day that I can love and who will love me, a-and who I can spend the rest of my life with, working together in our days as shinobi, and as old retired women, always loving each other through it all!" She exclaimed, then closed her eyes tightly and turned her head downwards, to embarrassed to say anything more on the subject as she squirmed near constantly now, as if no matter how she sat she wasn't quite happy with it.

Hisame sat there and listened intensely as to what Delilah was saying. She nodded slightly as her motives filled Hisame's ears, informing her just a little bit more of who the young women was. As she had guessed, Delilah was as pure and kind as she was awkward and jittery. Hisame found this to be amusing as well as a bit adorable. It would never cease to amaze her just how many people in the shinobi world could think as Delilah did. Hisame always used to think that those who believed in such things were fools, simply blinding themselves from the truth of how the world really was. That hope was just a word that people would rely on too much when they needed it most. However, none of these thoughts came to her as she heard it from the young women in front of her. For some reason or another, she really believed that the girl would be able to do it. This made sense to Hisame in the back of her head though. Why was it that she believed so much in the this women? Why did she feel like just accepting everything she said,no matter how much it went against her own beliefs. After all, Hisame was never a very optimistic person, nor very kind. But with a smile on her face and a supporting vigor in her voice she said. "Foolish, why would you say they are foolish? Those are great dreams and motives to have and follow. Not many people wish for such things anymore. They are too focused on what they can gain." Hisame, a women plagued by sorrow and hate, was smiling and encouraging someone else. It was such an odd thing that even Hisame wondered what she was doing, being so out of character. If only someone from Tsuki could see her at this very moment. They would probably think it be an impostor or some sort of strange dream.

The other thing that the girl said would take Hisame by even more surprise then her own behavior and feelings. Delilah, utterly embarrassed and with her head lowered, had spoke of her desire to find love. This was something that rattled her a little, for deep within her core, she too wanted to one day find love and have a family and live on after her vengeance was invoked upon those who had taken so much from her. She had usually repressed this desire though, for it was so much of a fantasy that even she never thought it would actually happen. The women who was so filled with hate, living happily and with a family, preposterous. Yet the spark of that dream surfaced a little within her heart and for a brief moment, weakness over took the women. Without thinking she gently set her hand under the girls chin and lifted her head so that their eyes would meet and she said with a gentle and surprisingly affectionate tone. "I believe that you will obtain that dream some day."

Delilah, caught off guard herself for a bit as Hisame seemed to renounce the idea that her dreams might be foolish, paused for a moment. She was frozen, not sure how to respond, but soon enough she blinked once, twice, and let a wide smile come over her face. Wider then she'd smiled in a very long time, happiness and excitement coming over her as she couldn't help but letting out a delighted squeal, giggling and drawing her arms in to her chest, as if trying to hold in an explosion coming from her torso. She managed to keep her head down though, still too embarrassed after revealing her dream of finding a woman to love. "Y-you really think so, don't you?~ I-I'm so glad, I was so worried you would think I was just some idiot gennin with her head up in the clouds... Y-Yayyyyy!~" She exclaimed wildly, unable to control herself with how happy she felt. Someone was supporting her! She was always used to being alone, so this was a very exciting experience for her. No one had ever supported her before, and now someone flat out told her they were great ideals to follow.

Upon the day of the rising moon, one got up with a style of waking up. From a tree, sleeping upside down as her eyes would slowly open with a calm collection of thought as she would awaken to the rising sun. The sun of which her eyes would close against with a steady bloom. She was training, simple as that and as it so happened it had been a training week for Jojo and Eden, two future kage of their select villages, granted Jojo did not know of Eden’s possible promotion and vice versa. Nonetheless, Jojo did not stop to focus on such pretenses, rather she trained and trained hard for the jutsu she was learning and the jutsu she could selectively gain. Her eyes upon the ground as she would awaken fully, her body would steadily focus as she tensed her muscles, shattering the tapestry cloth that tied around her.

Falling towards the ground eleven stories down while flipping with a smile, before lashing her hand out and with a grip of a vine she slid downwards and felt her hand scraping the vine covering off of them itself. Her smile going off as she would continue to move downwards with such a smiling face. Pushing herself down towards the ground with gravity before finally increasing her bone density to that of iridium as she fell, her metallic body taking the strength of gravity and steadily landing before reverting back to its origin. She would move towards the rendezvous point, steadily practicing techniques that were ideally something for her and at the same time something she can utilize to the utmost best. Her smile sweeping his happiness as she would generate the currents of the Shikotsumyaku through her body. The bones sweeping through her and the densities formulating with effective power.

Jojo would run, rushing forwards as she would channel such things all the while the mark on her forehead glowed purple while the red tattoo itself was in the shape of a V. The tattoo along her forehead glowing, the tattoos of burned chains along her forearms and the dragon on her back semi hidden as she wore a very unique kunoichi outfit. One that which revealed half her back, stopping at some midriff wrappings that held the front clove up that tied around her neck. The outfit itself was one that special officers of the AnBu would wear while she would only smile and continue to move forwards. She enjoyed this training session and as it were she was going to have plenty of fun guaranteeing her capability against this opposing individual. Her body moving forwards as she would jump from tree to tree until finally a leg adrenalized by momentum would wind up swinging above some individuals’ heads.

"No rest for the wicked."

Kusamuragakure and the land of the dense jungle. The country was so vast that it was difficult for even I to grasp the fact that I had passed through this very country in my years as a child for my training with father and Saigai. It felt as though it had been so long since that time, though I couldn't bring myself to forget its dense forestation and intense humidity. Such would most likely be impossible for any being who traversed through Jungle Country, including its native inhabitants.

(OOC: This is a WIP. I will finish it very soon. Within the next 24 hours, my post shall be up. Sorry for the extremely long wait.)

(OOC #2: Once I post, Jojo will be out of this topic, and the posting shall begin once again after the others have returned from their absences. The order will be: Hisame, Delilah, Eden.)
