Ichibi-san? No Reply.

Ichibi? Again, nothing. Rumi let out a heavy breath of frustration as he tossed a rock into the water ahead of him. The beast within him was unwilling to speak to him, no matter what. It had precautions that were unnecessary for anyone. Rumi did not want to hurt the One-Tailed in the slightest. He wanted to learn from him, gain knowledge, gain useful tools. He would never betray the Bijû. Afterall, what happened to the beast, happened to him.

Rumi was standing two meters away from the pond at the end of the waterfall. The heavy water crashed into the pond, making it forever moving, unable to stand still. Droplets that stayed in the air brought on a light mist that covered the earth, barely doing any damage to ones vision, as the mist reached only up to ones ankles as highest. The clear blue water displayed the pond floor with such elegance, and Rumi stared into it in awe. He witnessed fish swim across the ocean floor, and crabs crawl pretentiously, and many other beautiful sights within the waves. Nature never ceased to amaze Rumi.

The legal adult stood still, his fists resting loosely against his hips. His shirt was off (per the norm), and his light blue swim shorts were tightly worn on his waist. Rumis trademark seal was on his right pec, the Ichibis heart and soul bonded within that seal. Rumi stood there, his dark blue hair shimmering in the light that came down onto the area through the tree leaves. A small book rested on a large rock closer to the trees, with the young mans bundled up shirt right under it. He looked into the water, contemplating wether he should jump into the clearness or not.

Delilah was walking through the forest alone again, as she had done alot these days. She didn't know why she did it, it just seemed to her that it was the most enjoyable passtime she had available to her, other than training or going on missions. She let out a soft sigh, a happy one, as she arrived at the waterfall that she had set as her destination. As she looked out over the edge of the fall, she saw someone way at the base of it, or at least she thought she did, and let her curiousity take over. She decided she was gonna go down and see what was up, hoping to make a new friend, this would be her third friend ever. The first being Petri, of course, who she looked up at now and giggled warmly.

"Hey, Petri~ Look down there!" She said, pointing down to the base of the waterfall, as if actually expecting her floating ball of chakra to respond. She imagined a response that was somewhere along the lines of the ball looking down and cooing excitedly, but of course it did nothing. She wondered why noone else seemed to be able to see Petri sometimes, but she never really gave any thought to it. Soon enough, she began her descent to the bottom of the waterfall, climbing down as carefully as possible, taking almost a full two minutes to descend all the way to a safe spot to jump from. From about 3/4 of the way down the cliff, she hopped off of the rock face and landed with gracefully, rolling forward and up into a perfect kneeling position with her hand on her sheathe. This unfortunately may have seemed like an offensive pose, but it was just a habbit of hers to keep her hand on the sheathe, as it gave her a very nice sense of clarity.

Her eyes had apparently not lied to her, as she was now about 10 feet away from a shirtless man sitting at the edge of the pond at the base of the fall. She smiled at the man, hoping to come off as friendly as she stood now, waving hello, both to check if he had seen her yet, and to greet him. She wasn't sure how the man would react to her presence so she got no closer, not wanting to give a bad first impression. "Ummm... Hello, there. I saw you sitting down here by yourself and... Well I guess I was just wondering if you might like some company?" She asked in the friendliest tone she could manage, which still came off as hesitant and slightly abrasive, due to her lack of experience with people in general. Then, as she imagined Petri, the small invisible orb floating over her head, saying something offensive, she looked straight at it with a glare, muttering something about how Petri should just keep his mouth shut sometimes.

Rumi stared into the water, his focus crazily set on the calm waters. He took almost no notice of the female that was near him. He was oblivious as she climbed slowly down the wall. He was oblivious as she walked towards him. It took her words to break Rumi out of his trance. Before that, he didn't hear a single sound, somehow. When he was in focus to something, it didn't take a physical blow to wake him up, it didn't take persistence, it took noise.

He jumped at her words, his head snapping to face her, his eyes narrowed at the person who had interrupted his thoughts. He hated it when people did that. Enjoyed looking into certain aspects of things, trying to figure them out on his own, before going and searching in a library or something of the sorts. That was why he always had a book with him. His thirst for knowledge was never-ending. This trait was the only similarity between him and his hidden friend. Or so it seemed.

He looked the girl over, and his face went back to its original position, slightly bored, but attentive, and he turned back to the water. She seemed interesting to Rumi, but he wasn't going to show it. At least, not yet. She seemed about his age, maybe a bit older. It would take some conversation to really figure that out, but Rumi wasn't one for conversation. He was more of a listener, of sorts. He waved his hand over for her to sit next to him, his eyes on the clear, blue water.

"Come, come if you want. Company is always welcome for me."

While not necessarily true, Rumi did like to talk to people who shared his level of love of intellectual things, and intelligence. He hoped this girl would at least share this quality with him. Though, apparently, according to what he could hear (The faint mumbling to some unseen force), she may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Jojo was in the training of some of the most normal times of the year, a nice cool breeze filtering through the trees as she transverse through the area with a steady look to her eyes and a grin to her lips. The village of the jungle seemed to be holstering more shinobi recently, and now she wanted to keep her mental capacity with some of what she had to focus on. Her eyes looking about and there in steadily keeping a segmented thought of her own ideology in her mind as she would find herself mounting a thought on all those shinobi that were recently graduating from the academy. She would walk out and from the areas around her until her golden eyes spotted two individuals. A girl and a boy, both of which she had known were from a very different time of the academy than her just by the looks of them. Yet she was interested in just how different she was from them.

Jojo would only keep her mental capacity in her own notion with which she would pop her neck and then with a steady glance of her eyes she would focus upon these individuals. She would hop down from her position up at the top of the waterfall, gliding down the water until she would look at the two more closely, greeting them kindly, “Hello there you two, having a good day so far?” She was curious of this while her own eyesight would look at them and with which she would move towards them. She was clothed in a pure white stress suit, a suit holding plenty of buckles of which the suit itself was one for a strait jacket body suit. Her long green hair integrated with small braids and feathers while adorned on her neck was the headband of the village. Entry peaceful, that was all she really cared about.

Delilah smiled awkwardly as she was invited to come and sit with the man, for a moment over-analyzing the situation and trying to think of how she should approach, how she should sit, what she should say next, if anything at all. She didn't really realize until a few moments of thought had passed that she didn't really need to go through all of this, and that she should do her best to just act however she was comfortable with. Still, this was difficult, as it was hard for her to feel comfortable with anything when it came to social interaction, normally. Giving Petri one last glare, she sighed under her breath and tried to put on a more relaxed smile, walking forward slowly and sitting on heels next to the man. "So, what is your name?" She asked, speaking in a rigid pattern and avoiding contractions as much as possible for the time being, in a strange attempt to be very clear with her words, not wanting to give off the wrong impression, even though all she was asking was the man's name.

Then another voice rang in her ears, asking if the man and her were having a good day. This took her by surprise, and in a moment she was on her bottom and facing the direction the voice had come from, having flipped over very quickly to stare at the person she hadn't noticed coming up to them when she was too busy over-thinking the current situation. It was a rather pretty woman, and for some reason Delilah had an intense feeling that the person looked familiar, but for some reason couldn't seem to sort out who the person was in her mind. She gulped after a bit, her voice shaking slightly as she spoke, "U-umm... Yeah, I'm doing alright today... I'm not sure about him though. I came down because he looked lonely..." Then, as she spoke, her eyes drifted off to the side, staring at her imaginary friend 'Petri', who was really just a ball of her chakra existing outside of her body. She stuck her tongue out at it, making herself look rather strange in the process, and then, under her breathe but still audible, said "You don't have to be so rude, Petri!" Before looking back at the young woman who had approached them. "And how are you, m-miss?~"
