Personality: Jinsei is definitely what one would call a "phantom". He's serious, calm, and has little to no presence due to his nature to stay quiet. His face has almost no expression on it at most times and he was taught as a child to abandon emotions altogether. That being said, Jin is actually quite the caring male.

Although he usually remains cold and blank on the outside, ever since he was a child Jin has been an outsider within his clan due to his refusal to let go of emotions. He can be sad, angry, and happy just like any other person however he chooses not to display it. He always retains his monotone voice whether incredibly amused or infuriated, but when pushed too far his physical features will change slightly. When angry his eyes would darken while his teeth will be clenched and when happy he'll be able to let out a grin or two.

Likes: Although he poorly shows it on the outside, there are several things in this world which manage to bring a small smile on the Kagani boy's face. This list includes dogs, breezes, running, and above all, freedom. When in the presence of a puppy or large dog alike, he'll always become excited. When a breeze rolls by he'll close his eyes and feel at peace, and when he runs he feels truly free. Running also coincides with his final like: freedom. Ever since he was a child, Jinsei was forced to live a certain way, but now that he's out on his own he cherishes freedom over everything else.

Dislikes: There are few things that Jinsei actually "dislikes". The only things in this world which he finds to his distaste are: pain brought upon the innocent, and slavery. As a child he kind of experienced both in a way, which is why he hates them so much.

Motivation: Jinsei's one and only goal is to be free, however at the same time he does not wish to simply traverse the world aimlessly. That is why he has decided to be a Shinobi. Always sent out on missions from here to there, besides having to obey orders from their superiors the lives of Shinobi display exactly what Jinsei believes true freedom to be.

Fears: There are only two things which actually chill Jinsei down to the bone. In the presence of a swordsman who is more powerful than even him he'll often start to quiver in fear. And in small, underground areas he'll begin to feel locked up (claustrophobia-underground only).



Bloodline Name: Kami no Tōken (God of Swords)

Bloodline Ability: Every member of the Kagani clan has the innate ability to imitate and master any swordsman style with ease. This could take anywhere between a day to a year at most, depending on the level of difficulty of said style. When starting, a member of the Kagani Clan can adopt one of three basic swordsmanship styles which includes the swords themselves:
~Itoryuu (One-Sword Style)
~Nitoryuu (Two-Sword Style)
~Santoryuu (Three-Sword Style)

The Jutsu-Component is the ability to modify one's blade(s) to match the appearance and weight of another, in other words, a cloning jutsu for weapons. The catch is that said shinobi can only modify the blade(s) they started with, for they have created a spiritual bond with one another. Depending on the rank of the jutsu, the cloned weapon's strength can differ.

Location: North-East of Shippuugakure in a village located on a cliff-side.

Clan History: Far to the North-East of Shippuugakure, a humble, blue-haired swordsman lived in a forest. His actual name still remains unknown to this day, however he went by the alias of the "God of Swords". The reason he was referred to as a god was because of his mastery of every swordsmanship style known to man. He lived his life fighting every challenger which would visit him, and eventually he found his match: a female shinobi going by the name of Kagani. After the battle ended in a draw the two decided to mate with one another in order to preserve such amazing natural abilities, and that's how the Kagani clan was born. Each and every descendant of the original pair has passed on their natural affinity for the blade. The village of the Kagani now resides on a cliffside to the North-East of Shippuugakure, in which the current members reside.



History: Our story begins far to the North-East of the Hidden Hurricane, on a village atop a cliff. Here lived a clan of fairly small, blue-haired men and women who mostly kept to themselves. Each year on any month the youngest male and female would mate with one another and bear a child. Now a planned, yearly pregnancy may seem odd to some, but to the Kagani clan it was purely for the conservation of their race. In fact it was a good plan too, for each and every member of the blue-haired clan held an amazing skill dubbed the "God of Swords". This ability had been passed down through the generations by the original God of Swords himself, and it allows every Kagani to imitate any swordsmanship known to man. Now this was a rare trait just to begin with, which is why the clan lived in such a secluded area, far from civilization. However it would all change when one child was born.

A prodigy just like all of his relatives, Jinsei Kagani was known as the troublemaker in his village; however he was not the same type of trouble that one would think. From birth onward, a member of the village would be taught the style of the blade and to throw away all emotions from the get-go, however Jinsei was an exception. He shared the exact same traits with all of the others: blank face, blue-hair, short height and all, however one thing stood out: he decided to feel emotion. He never displayed it outwardly, but every member of the Kagani clan could tell because of the fluctuations in his attitude. Sometimes he'd refuse to train, while at others he'd simply fight as if his life depended on it, and for this he was shunned, even by his own mother and father. Hated by his entire family, he decided to stir things up a bit by outwardly presenting his emotions, however it not only took a toll on his psyche, but his body as well. Beaten down, bruised, and whipped by the elders in his village, Jin eventually learned to do as they said, but a small grudge would forever linger within his body...

On a stormy, gloomy night, Jinsei's life changed, and possibly for the better. He was taken outside by one of the elders of the village who especially despised him. Once there, said cruel man beat Jin till he was numb and bruised all over. He was referred to as "broken" and "a disgrace to the Kagani race", which finally made something within his mind snap. Taking hold of one of the two blades on his waist, Kagani fought back and eventually killed the elder. Without packing his bags or saying a final goodbye to his "parents", he left the Kagani Village that night, never to return again.

At the age of 10, Jinsei's travels brought him to the Hidden Hurricane itself. Once there, he enrolled in the Shinobi Academy for the next five years, which is just when he graduated and became a Genin. Now simply living his life as a normal Shinobi, Jinsei Kagani could literally do anything he wanted to, at least within his superiors' orders that is.
