Description: They look like basic hand wraps, much like the picture .

Abilities: These hand wraps are capable of changing color based on the user’s preference. Much like hand wraps these provides proper protection for the user when punching and blocking. These hand wraps are pretty basics until the user begins to use his/her chakra or activates it alone by channeling 10points of chakra to it. Once activated the wraps will have the protective qualities of steel (like that of a sword) and can be used to block swords, projectiles, and other weapons or form of attacks.

Because of its hardness it has an innate ability of making taijutsu based techniques and attacks one rank higher in terms of strength. What gives these hand wraps there name is its uncanny ability to capture and completely bind opponents. Upon activation six (each hand) loose strings from the hand wraps will dangle from the user’s forearms. Originally each string is about 3 inches long, making it extremely difficult for close opponents to grab and pull. At will the opponent can cause these 12 strings to act like tentacles or limbs and shoot out at an opponent which they can locate at 50mph with a range of 12 ft. These limbs as well as the hand wraps itself can be regenerated so long as the user has at least a small piece of the cloth in each hand.

These wraps can also reach great lengths, cutting themselves if the slack gets passed the desired length for the user. At this time these hand wraps will attempt to bind the opponent(s) by any means possible so it is crucial for the opponent to not make contact or even extended contact(like hitting it with a sword) that wont aid them in avoiding or slicing these limbs that are of steel quality. Once one limb wraps around a part of the opponent’s body it will pull them closer allowing the other 5 to catch up and completely cocoon/coil the target in a thick layer of hand wraps. The cocoon is a tight wrap preventing only a small amount of space for hand seals to be done, but not even for the flailing of the opponent’s arms. The cocoon is too tight to be stretched and leaves no room to move your limbs, only hands meaning that once captured even a weapon capable of cutting clean through steel will be of any good unless the user can forcefully create space with a futon element jutsu of A rank quality (will cause half damage to themselves and then use their sword or any other innovative way which doesn't require a proper swing. Once captured within the twelve foot range these wraps can cocoon anything of any size, height and power because of its sealing properties. While the victim(s) are within the cocoon(s) they are capable of feeling all physical based damage from the outside. Some ways of getting out are as following. These hand wraps are still made of cloth all though it’s special cloth. Therefore it is still weak against fire based techniques of A rank or higher.

An A rank fire based technique from the inside will cause the whole thing to go up in flames (inflicting half the burning damage to the victim within it). Slicing based wind style techniques of S rank quality can rip through the cocoon and cause no damage to anyone within it. While within the cocoon the victim is vulnerable to physical attacks and fire based attacks from the outside (which can possibly free them if it slices or burns the wraps) and additional Fuuinjutsu seals. Other than that they are immune from the possibility of being drowned, burned, and any time of none physical attack with the exception of the few mentioned. Otherwise the victim(s) are trapped for 5 posts unless removed by the user. These wraps can do this ability once every 10 posts after a declared capture. It will cost 10 points of chakra every time the hand wraps are regenerated (5 points each wrap). Regeneration only works for the wraps that are still around the users hands, not for the wraps around the victim(s). The user can capture two people at most and if one person is captured by the end of the capture post and the other isn't, it will take 5 posts in order for the user to attempt another capture.

After much debate and fixings, I'll throw in my approval. Though I'd like to hand you these you'll need to wait for A) le monies and B) Another staffs approval. I'd like to have someone else's opinion on these.

As it is in fact an S-rank item/weapon, 3 points of chakra is too little to enhance the handwraps to steel in hardness.

Also, not all chakra natures can harden an item or part of a person's body. Specify what each chakra nature can do to the handwraps in terms of enhancement.

It is an ability. I don't really see any weapons on this site needing any chakra for activation period. That's just curtesy on my part, ill make it like 10 chakra.

Also it doesn't use chakra affinities it just needs activation. Hardness is part of the weapons personal abilities

Oh, okay. That makes sense. It is only the chakra itself that enhances the handwraps and not any specific elemental affinity, yes?

Yes. Its abilities come when chakra activates it. Otherwise its just hand wraps that change color
