Personality: Ren is extremely serious and mature for his age, and has great control of his emotions. He is usually seen with an angry expression on his face, though he isn't really the angry type, he is more quiet and calm than most people. He is quite confident about his power and strength and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants with tough work and determination. Though In his younger years, Ren was a kinder, optimistic child who smiled more often, and had the up most respect for the main family until what happened to his brother, now he wishes nothing more then to put them in their place.
Likes: Ren doesn't like very many things other than training to get stronger, though he has a soft spot for small animals and such he is sometimes seen with smalls birds and such. He also likes stormy nights, though that was the weather when his brother died it fills him with the knowledge that his brother is looking down on him.
Dislikes: Ren has a deep hatred for the main family, as he feels that they have it easy and feels he is more qualified to be in it and how his brother died protecting them. Ren is quite impatient, he hates to wait on anyone, especially if it is his opponent. Ren also hates when people act weak or just plain weak people, though he is kind when he encounters a weak person he gets quite angry.
Motivation: Ren's main motivation is to show that he is the best of the Shichiyou clan and also fill out his brothers wish, by defeating the main family showing that even though he's from the lower branch he's still the best. He also wishes to once again meet his brother.
Fears: Ren isn't the easiest kid to scare, though Ren's biggest fear is disgracing himself and not being able to accomplish his goal, by losing.

Bloodline Ability: This unique bloodline is the ability to create ice on the whim and to travel through it. They can also perform jutsu only using one hand.

Clan History: Generations before the rise of Hyougakure, the Shichiyou was ruled by a man, Shichiyou Tenzou with an aptitude amount of knowledge of how water worked. He developed various skills and techniques that involved ice and all aspects of it. He was famous in his power and capabilities for the area was covered by a frozen tundra. He started to built a shinobi village in the Blizzard Country to create place that provided security against enemies. It was going to be a long long road. Unfortunately, he passed away before he could finish his life's goal.
Luckily, he had a son that continued his legacy. There isn't much information about this. Just that he signed a pact with a demon to gain more power, to increase the speed of his work. There was a certain price though. The demon's power shall run forever through the main family's first son of each generation, giving them red eyes. And the demon would be able to use their body's sometimes causing them to have a split personality disorder.
This man gave birth to three children. Three boys. And indeed the first son had red eyes while the other two had regular blue eyes. These three men eventually finished their grandfather's work. They founded Hyougakure together. All the residents of the local villages moved to Hyougakure. It was a beautiful and amazing place, just like a fairy tale. An enormous village that provided security to everyone.
The three created Shichiyou's Monarch which is Hyougakure's outer wall, the city's thickest layer of protection. The wall was huge. Easily a hundred meters tall and perhaps fifteen meters thick. The wall encircled all of Hyougagakure. It is considered indestructible and is commonly drawn on maps as a terrain feature. It has never been breached. The council mandated that soldiers and sentries would be placed on the wall at all times, with many of them even living in built-in homes inside the wall.
A couple of years later one of the branch family leaders died during the war with Kazangakure. He was leading the a small shinobi squad, nothing more. Kazangakure wasn't a match since they couldn't handle the cold. Heavy winter blizzards constantly pelt the tundra, and unstable ice sheets often gave way under the slightest pressure. The man died with a smile on his face as he crushed several platoons at once saying "You never managed to enter our village." The two remaining brothers were saddened by this tragedy. Shichiyou was left with a main family and a branch family.
Decades later the Shichiyou clan was increased in numbers. The amount of the main family could be counted on one hand. The amount of the branch family was a bit bigger. The main family lives in a palace and are referred to as the royal family of Hyouga.
History: Ren was born in the hidden glacier village, Hyougagakure on July 23rd. Into a house of three, him his mother and his older brother. The day of his birth was also the day of his fathers disappearance. His father went on a mission to another village but never returned. Ren's mother, Mizuki was a nurse at the local hospital, but that wasn't enough to live on so they lived in poverty. Ren's older brother, Hiro had just been promoted to Jounin, which helped with the bills, but Hayato had a grudge against the main family for having the easy life, even so he was a guard for the main family and would do anything to protect them. As a child Ren didn't have very many friends if any, but there was always one person that Ren was handing out with if it wasn't his brother it ways a boy his age named, Syrus. He was a kid who was in Ren's academy class and also his sparing partner. Though he was from the main family, Ren still liked to hang around him though for Hiro it was a different story. Hiro told Ren that he was evil and Ren shouldn't be around him, that no matter what we are just servants to the main family. After that Ren never saw Syrus again, but at least he still had his brother.
Ren looked up to his brother who helped him with his Ninjutsu and Kenjutsu training, which really helped him as he wasn't the quickest learner. As time went by Ren had nearly mastered his Ninjutsu and same with his Kenjutsu. During a stormy night Ren had heard crying from downstairs and went down to see what was wrong. His mother told him that Hiro was killed protecting the main family from rouge ninja. Ren couldn't believe the brother he looked up to and admired would give his life protecting something he hated. With his brother dead his mother had to work more and was barely ever around. As time went on Ren's ninja abilities started lacking as he had know one to help him. The day of the Genin exams he easily passed but didn't feel like he deserved it.
One day when his mother was working, a knock came at his door when Ren answered there wasn't anyone there, but he looked down and saw a letter. He opened it with suspicion as it is hard to trust things in the world, it was addressed to him and read. "Ren, I'm sorry things turned out this way, rather if I am dead or alive I don't want you to look for me, also I'd rather you not tell anyone at all. The hatred I have for the main family lead me to do what I did, I can't live serving under them any longer so that is why I'm leaving, though you Ren have the strength to beat the main family with enough training. I couldn't take them down even if I tried but you just may can. We may meet again and we may not but remember this, it's all up to destiny, so good bye little brother." Ren started getting teary-eyed as he finished, his brother was still alive and couldn't take it any longer, Ren was going to what his brother wanted him to and do whatever he can to defeat the main family. He also wondered if he'd ever meet his brother again and what destiny would have in store for him.
RP Sample: Ren and another Genin from the village were having a training fight. "Gentle Fist." Ren said as he activated his byakugan and started attacking at his chakra network, but not enough to severly damage him. Ren delivered many blows knocking the kid out before he even had a chance. "Man I hope the Chunin exams will be coming soon, I need a good challenge." Rem thought as he wlked off and headed back to his usual training redgament. Ren arrived at home from a long day of training, his mother was in the kitchen as she was nearly done with dinner. "Hi mom, how was your day." Ren asked as he whipped sweat from his forehead. She sighed but didn't answer. "Long day I assume." Ren thought as headed into his room and once again looked at the letter from his brother and sighed. "Why'd you have to do that Hiro, I miss you brother. But I will fulfill your final wish and become a great shinobi even better then the head family." Ren thought with his fist clenched tightly.
