Mission Title: Catch that cat!

Location: -set-
Reward: 20,000 ryo
Objective: It seems that a little noble girl, by the name of Kimi, has lost her oh-so-sweet Mister snugglywugglycuddlypoofy-kins. The long haired cat has been spotted across the village, sighted by multiple people. Her parents have posted a nice reward for bringing the cat back.

One thing. The cat is an escape artist. No matter your rank he will escape from you at least twice, clawing your arms and shoulders up getting away. The second time he escapes he will flee up a rather tall acorn tree, taking pleasure in knocking the acorns off onto your face and head. After a few minutes the cat will realise that he is stuck in the tree, and you'll have to get him back down.

If the feline is harmed in anyway you have failed the mission, and you will not get your pay.


Mission: Skychi began walking through the town as he normally would, his arms behind his head, as he walked through the street. He came across a sign on a poll which read "Lost cat, Long hair, name: Snugglywugglycuddlypoofy-kins. Reward: 20,000 ryo." He thought to himself "20,000 ryo for a cat?! Geez, maybe I could claim that reward!" He then began to make his way through out the village, asking the locals here about the cat, fi they have seen it, what it'd look like, stuff like that. He then decided there were three thinks cats liked, playing, food, and milk. So he then sent off, creating a toy for a cat out of a stick, some tread, and a hollowed out acorn with a little rock in it to make sound. He then looked around for the cat, assuming if it was out here, it would stay close by the village.
When he was about to lose hope, he spotted the feline, sitting by a tree. He then proceeded to sneak up behind it and wrap his arms around it. He obviously failed, ending up with cat scratches on his cheeks and clothing. Furious, he decided to collect himself, and try the cat toy. The cat had already climbed up the tree, so he began to bounce the toy back and fourth on the thread. The cat crawled down the tree slowly, and then pounced at the toy once he reached the ground. While in midair, Skychi dropped the toy and caught the cat. The cat once more scratched him up, on his face and clothing, being released and climbed back up the tree. Skychi decided it would be best to try food, so he went back to the village to find some food for the cat.
Skychi came back about an hour later, seeing the cat still up in the tree? Odd, but he dismissed it. He placed some food that he had found in a trash can on the ground, and walked a few paces away from it. He noticed the cat was meowing, as if it were in trouble. He would jump into action, immediately, climbing up the tree to the first tree branch. The cat had been on the thrid tree branch, so what he figured was the cat was too scared to get down. He would then climb to the second branch, knowing he could possibly scare the cat, he bagan speaking softly and kindly to the cat. "Don't worry, Snugglywugglycuddlypoofy-kins, I'll get you down from here and back to your owner, safely." Skychi said in a calm and appealing voice, as if to sooth the cat.
Skychi made it to the third branch the cat was on, continuing to sooth it with his words as he came closer to the cat on the branch. The cat began to walk further down the branch, away from Skychi, hissing and growling. The cat then would make it to the edge, about to slip. Skychi knew if the cat was harmed, he wouldn't get a reward, so he decided to hurry up and try to grab it. The cat jumped back, as Skychi attempted to grab it, and slipped off the branch. Skychi would jump after the cat, catching it in midair, and turning around, his back facing the ground, as him and the cat fell. He landed on the ground, on his back, letting out a soft groaning sound, but seeing the cat shivering in fear in is arms. He softly pet the cat, saying to him "It's okay, kitty, you're safe now." with a soft smile. The cat softly licked his cheek, as Skychi pet him.
Skychi began to walk to the Noble childs' home, and knocked on the door. The door openned, a servant standing at the door "Yes, how could I help you, Sir?" The servant said to Skychi. Skychi looked down at the cat, then up to the man standing in the doorway "I found this cat, which had flyers all around town posting a reward for his return." Skychi replied to the man. The man looked at the cat, then nodded, getting the owner of the home. The owner comes back, spotting the cat immediately. "Oh, my daughters' cat, thank you very much, she has missed it so much! Here, I got the reward for you, thank you so much, this will mean a lot to her!" The man said to Skychi, taking the cat and handing him a bag of Ryo, containing 20,000 ryo in it in total. Skychi would smile to the man "Thank you, Sir, and I hope you have a wonderful evening!" He then began his journey to the ramen house.
