Village News
The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Personal v2

Personality:

General Personality
Rei is somewhat that seems a loner, though has a gift to make friends very easily, but never uses that gift. Although he has that gift, he tends to not befriend people. That may be the cause of his royal status. The smile he gives off is a very warm and calming one, which basically shows most of his personality off. He’s one that never gets angry quick, though when he’s angry, people consider it a ‘quiet rage’; you never hear him complain about something and loves to fight, no matter for which reason, even if it may only be a spar. Other than that, he never shows that he’s angry. The only way you’ll be able to see if he’s angry is through the expression his face has; if his eyes turn even sharper than they usually are, or has a frown upon his face. He never seems tired and always does his best to keep his usual expression on his face. Some people might have seen different expressions of him, but that’s because it’s completely by accident or that Rei has actually chosen himself to; not for any other reason.

Personality towards friends
Rei’s personality towards his friends is not that different at all. He remains calm and collected, though never, even one bit, becomes angry with his friends, since he sees no reason to be angry. In his eyes, friends do engage in arguments every now and then, so that’s part of developing a friendship. However, even towards his friends he doesn’t show weakness. He knows that everyone is better off not knowing, considering he might be betrayed by one of his friends. Even when a friend says something that Rei doesn’t personally like, he stands up and tells him/her about it; he stands his ground and doesn’t let anyone walk over him.

Personality towards strangers
Towards strangers, Rei is usually more on guard, though still seems calm and collected, this is so that the stranger doesn’t know the actions that Rei will perform in emergencies, since most people read someone’s intentions throughout their expression. He does know that, certain strangers, you have to keep on your good side, for your own sake, though he’s completely stubborn about that thought. Considering he likes fighting, he doesn’t mind who he fights, whether it be a weaker or stronger opponent; the result is what amuses him, so he can even have a great fight with a completely unknown figure.

Personality towards underlings (This counts for when he rebuilds his empire – See history)
His personality towards underlings is more strict, of course. But this is because he wants the best for the people that live within his empire. His tone gets all high-and-mighty due to the royalty blood that’s running through his vains, which might get people annoyed, but it’s just the way he is in these kind of situations. The expression his eyes have are sharp and alert, observing every single action that the underlings take, considering even they are capable of betrayal or other kinds of actions that may influence the wellbeing of his empire. The more contact he has with an underling, the better their bond grows and the more different he becomes. Getting in contact the most with Rei will result in him possibly seeing you as a friend.

Likes: He enjoys his carefree moments; the moments where he doesn’t have to worry about a single thing, nor has the feeling that he can be ambushed at any time. He enjoys being in the open nature, though not too sunny nor rainy. Cloudy is more his kind of weather, considering the temperature isn’t too extreme under those circumstances. The other thing he likes is his royal status, though this is unknown to most people. He thinks that through his royal status, he has some importance within the world.

Dislikes: He dislikes people that get in his way of trying to resurrect his empire. This is the only reason that he wants to basically keep on moving forward. To add onto that, he is annoyed by people that try to oppose him and try to win an argument against him. His temper is something that people need to be aware of. He has a calm mind at many times, though that can easily be switched to a more irritating and frustrated one.

Motivation: The motivation is always within his mind; the resurrection of his empire. The very thought of that it was destroyed still haunts him in his sleep and within his mind. He tries not to tell anyone of this goal, unless telling people will actually aid him in doing achieving it. There really isn’t any other motivation.

Fears: There isn’t much that this type of character fears. Though, there are a few. One, for example, is the fear that his pride gets tainted. The other one is dying meaningless, or dying overall for that matter.

Clan Information

Clan name

Bloodline Name: Seisui [純粋さ]

Bloodline Ability: These are just the 'special abilities' that are within Rei's DNA. No one else can have them.

  • Physical age isn’t increasing; this means that no matter how old they get, their body never looks older than 23. Though, their lifespan is as long as a normal human.

  • After they die, they don’t ‘vanish’ from the world completely. They become a spirit, though in this form, they cannot touch –anyone-, but in compensation, no one can touch them either. So the deceased possessors of this bloodline pose no threat to the living. Other people are, however, able to see them.

  • Boil Release; combination of Katon and Suiton.

History

History:

There is something ‘unique’ about Rei, so I’m going to have to create a history for all the heirs that were before Rei. So, about the other four.

First Heir: The beginning of a lineage (- Heritage: Hair / Body with Eternal Youth)
“The result is the most amusing thing.
When you give up..
The result will be even less satisfying.”

~ First Heir

Before the empire had been built, the First was travelling around the world, looking for strong people to join him along his travels. Although he loved fighting, he didn’t travel around the world just to fight or make strong people join him; he wanted to see more of the world. There were good and bad days throughout the years that he spend in country after country, both sunny and rainy nights, calm and stormy ones; but none of that stopped the First from continuing with his travels. The reason that people chose the join him has been forever been unknown, but they say it was because of his shining personality that attracted people towards him. But then again, the First was just being himself.

During this age, the Empire had been freshly built and was standing strong under the command of the First Heir. Everyone respected him; this is mostly due to the personality he had. He never treated his underlings like his own personal pawns that he needed to achieve goals or lead a perfect empire; each and every one of them he thought of as his own family. However, there was a special ‘gift’ that his birth brought along. That gift was the power of an eternally young body. Whether this was fate or not, it was suiting for the First Heir. His body didn’t reach higher than the age of 23, thus he could continue fighting for a much longer amount of time than a regular human, although his lifespan is just as long as a normal human. Everyony, may it be normal civilians or his underlings, were surprised at this gift, knowing that the empire would definitely last throughout the First’s lifetime.

The First was neither good nor evil, he was neutral. Although he liked fighting, he refused to meddle with other people’s affairs and take them upon his own; in his eyes, the people needed to learn how to fend for themselves instead of begging other people to help them. Deep down, the First knew those guys were pathetic, but his personality didn’t allow him to say that out loud and just kept it bottled up inside and continued treating them like any other decent person. Although the First had built an entire empire, he wasn’t poor nor rich. The empire had been completely hand-built by him, and of course by the underlings that joined him along the way. It was a tough and long goal that he wanted to achieve, but the First wasn’t known for giving up, he was known to push through instead. Even when it was raining, they continued their building to finish it as soon as possible, with keeping their break-time at the minimum.

On a rainy night, the empire had been completely built and successfully as well. The exact moment the empire had been finished, the sky cleared and the rain stopped. It was like the heavens seemed saddened that the people kept pushing themselves to the limits, which could be lethal, and afterwards happy that they made it through to the end without giving up, and actually succeeding. With his head held high, the First walked through his empire, greeting every single human being that passed him along his path.

The underlings and civilians were right with their thoughts; the empire didn’t fade away at all during the days of the First Heir. Everyone was living in peace, no one even dared to attack the empire while under the command of the First, knowing that it would probably be futile to even try.

Second Heir: (- Yellow/Golden, sharp eyes / Boil Release)
The Empire is still standing, though it’s noticeably getting more ancient as the years passed. In the middle of the empire there’s one statue, that is definitely a statue of the First Heir. The statue is even labeled as the ‘First Heir’. The First Heir is to the underlings and civilians right now a true ‘savior’. Although they wonder if the Second Heir can be as great as the First.

The Second Heir has yellow/golden eyes, which are just as always sharp and tough looking. The expression in his eyes never change, not even if he is showing someone his gratitude. This expression in his eyes may be sometimes misunderstood by strangers that have never seen him or even sometimes by his own underlings. The Second Heir doesn’t have long, black/white hair, unlike the First. When walking through his empire, everyone gazes towards him in doubt. The Second noticed this, and it became directly clear to him that the Heirs that came after the First had to actually get closer to them to get their respect. The First built the empire, which meant automatic respect.

Day in, day out the Second started conversation with both his underlings and the civilians, trying to get all of their respect and trying to adapt the personality that the First left behind in each and every one that was under his command. Though, he had a completely different personality than the First. He didn’t really enjoy fighting all that much, so he left that behind him and only fights when it’s really needed, thus not for fun at all. This personality is somewhat cocky and more ‘high and mighty’ than the First Heir. The Second Heir actually takes a lot of pride in his royal status.
Thanks to that pride, he also wishes to protect his empire no matter the cost. However, since the empire barely has any money, the renovations had to be cancelled and the village couldn’t be upgraded with increased defenses, which could also keep the empire standing for a lot years to come. Instead of trying to focus on the wellbeing of the appearance of the empire, he decided it was time for him to put time in the wellbeing of the underlings and civilians.

It was a hard task, but even with his cocky and ‘high and mighty’ personality, engulfed in much of his pride which is easy to be tainted and hated, the relationship with his underlings and civilians slowly flourished and eventually reached a height where even the cocky Second Heir had gained their respect.

On a stormy night, when the empire was attacked by complete strangers, the Second Heir took a stand against them, though obviously outnumbered. Knowing what was in place, he chose to fight alone and order his underlings to stand back and watch the fight to pick up a few things, telling them it is time for a new Heir. During the strong battle that the Second had fought, the underlings and civilians were surprised to see the elemental release he used; Boil Release. Something they had never seen before, and probably the last they would ever see of it.

With his final words spoken, he rushed into the battlefield, into the army of strangers that were strongly swinging their weapons back and forth in order to get through to the Second Heir, thus putting an end to his life. Even though he died in a ruthless battle, people said he died with a smile upon his face; with all of his might and not to forget pride, he engaged into battle in order to protect the thing that was harboring his pride… The empire.

Third Heir: The Haunting Emperor (- Tattoo under eyes / Ability to turn into a spirit after dying)
During this time, the Empire is slowly crumbling apart. Though very slowly, there’s clearly a change beginning to happen within the empire. Even the civilians are catching notice of it and are fearing for the worst. In these days, there is a Third Heir that will look after the empire and try to make it the best empire all around the world. Usually, there was only one statue in the middle of the empire, but now there are two; they added the Second Heir as well due to his heroic deed. The Third Heir neither has long hair nor yellow/golden, sharp eyes. He has tattoos under both of his eyes. He’s somewhat doubtful about the whole fighting, he finds it exciting but also pointless. Unlike the Second, the Third wants to make the Empire wealthy. In his opinion, being wealthy means having that the empire will soon have the best defense and be nearly indestructible. Also, the empire will stop its crumbling.

The Third orders his underlings to instead of walking around the Empire pointless and try to keep everything in order, to take on jobs from various countries and try to get their cash off their hands for performing a perfect ‘mission’. The underlings pretty much understand the Third’s actions, but aren’t necessarily agreeing with him a hundred percent. They all thought he should at least keep a few guards remaining within the village so there wouldn’t be a chaos among the civilians, but the Third told them that that was of no need, considering he’d remain within the village and observe the actions of the civilians.

The money was flowing into the empire’s bank, into the Third’s back. And all he was planning to do with it was strengthen their defenses and perform renovations on everything within it. Upon hearing the stories, about how the Second died, he thought it would be smart to take no risk with the current state of their defenses, hoping that he wouldn’t die the same death as the Second. The Third’s sense of pride wasn’t as strong and didn’t want to pretty much die in a battle. He envied the death of the First; remaining the empire’s respected leader and dying peacefully.

The bank has reached its limit of capacity, thus the money had to be spent, all of it in renovations right now. Using the money, the underlings bought supplies from other countries, supplies that they’ve never seen before but rumored to be very effective. Through even the most stormy and rainy days, they continued their renovations. It seemed like the age of the First all over again; the same willpower flowing through the veins of both the Third and the underlings of the Third.

Eventually, they all finished the renovations, the empire now looking as good as ever, as if it was completely rebuilt. However, something unusual was seen when looking towards the Third; he was sweating. No matter how much the Third worked, he never broke a sweat, though now he did. His breathing also got heavier than normal and the pupils in his eyes were slowly fading away, as if he was reaching the brink of death. It just took a few seconds before he collapsed upon the ground and the only options that was left was to get a doctor to the scene. The doctor carefully and patiently investigated the Third’s body, while finally coming to the conclusion that a lethal virus had worked its way into the body of the Third. Even though the Third wasn’t satisfied with the death he was given, he died with a smile upon his face, reflecting back upon the things he had done for the empire, not even a single drop of blood hitting the ground, not a single fight that broke out, but all that was done make things a lot easier for the next Heir, thanks to the newly strengthened defenses.

Both the underlings and the civilians watched the Third, as the skies began getting cloudy and the rain drops were falling from the heavens, upon every single underling and civilian, as well as the Third, though no one even flinched or looked up at the sky. All eyes were aimed at the dying Third, who slowly closed his eyes, never to open again.

What people didn’t know, however, was that the Third continued roaming around the empire, looking down upon every single human being that was walking those grounds, though not as a mortal. The Third lived on as a guardian, a spirit that would keep himself out of sight, though hope that nothing would happen to those happily living people.

Fourth Heir: (- Eternal Smile / Katana)
Thousands of voices are being heard from within the empire, the people seemingly having a great time, even after all those years and the events that the empire had been going through. Children playing in the streets, parents having a night out or just teenagers going to clubs. The Fourth Heir had complete control over the people and his underlings, presumably because of the so-called ‘eternal smile’ he possessed. His smile never seemed to fade and always gave off a very warm and calming feeling towards those that he was talking with, or even merely looking at. Without ‘forcing respect’ off the civilians and underlings, he kept the empire at perfect peace. Thanks to the constant smile he had put up on his face, the enemies barely knew what was going on in that head of his; is his smile merely a cover-up? Is he planning something or is he just being carefree? This is something no one would be able to tell.

The Fourth stood in the middle of the empire, sitting in front of all of the statues; First, Second and the Third as well. His eternal smile looked towards each and every civilian that passed by him, no underling of him to be seen. He almost never ordered one of his underlings to walk around the empire and see if everyone was behaving like they should. He had faith in his empire and hoped that no one would betray those feelings of his. And this was the perfect test he had put up for his civilians. Clouds were slowly moving around in the sky, every now and then covering the sun to engulf the empire in shadows. Even though the civilians and underlings may have given the Fourth their respect and trust, the Fourth didn’t really trust them just yet, hence why he put up this test.

Slowly he stood up, walking back to his own palace and sitting down upon his throne, his smile not even fading just a little bit. As time passed, his eyes slowly closed as a sign that he was either tired or was entering some sort of meditation process that would require the utmost of concentration. His breathing remained steady and no underling of his even dared to interrupt him.

Since he had closed his eyes, his hearing abilities had gotten even better. On the background, he heard footsteps and voices nearing the village, no idea what their intentions were, although he did have one simple guess, just from hearing their loud ‘battle cries’ with each step that the unknown figures took. Civilians were speaking loudly amongst each other, yelling out that mysterious figures were nearing the village. The figures were holding up a flag from their country. Possibly they were either here to destroy or take over the entire empire. Once the Fourth took notice of this, he jumped out of his throne and walked outside of his palace, only to see the gate getting broken down and falling over upon the ground with a loud thud that scared most, or pretty much all of the civilians away. They were all screaming even louder once the mysterious figures entered the village.

Someone stepped forwards, while the other remained in the background. The one that stepped forward was assumed to be the leader. Without even speaking a word, the mysterious figure raised his weapon and pointed it towards the Fourth. Everyone remained silent, so did the Fourth. The civilians all ran away, knowing what that meant and entered their houses, closing their windows and doors completely, though that wouldn’t help so much. After a very long moment of silence, the mysterious figure slammed his weapon into the ground, his forces spreading out and crushing everything that they saw within the empire, all the houses slowly crumbling apart, the people inside of those houses getting buried under the houses.

Like expected, the so-called ‘Eternal Smile’ of the Fourth had finally vanished and entered a stage of ‘quiet rage’. No one would be able to tell if he was actually angry, even if his blood was boiling from the inside and urging to defeat that certain opponent. The Fourth ran back inside of the palace, grabbing a katana that was sealed away in a cabin, barely used by himself, only in his younger days. Once grabbed, he ran outside and unsheathed the katana, pointing it towards the mysterious figure. He didn’t shake at all, since he’s used to battle.

He dashed forward, engaging the mysterious man in combat, the empire slowly crumbling apart as their battle reached higher and higher stages, after a while, they both stabbed each other, though the Fourth didn’t get hit at a vital spot, the mysterious man did. No matter what the mysterious man did, he slowly bled to death, the other people watching in awe as the mysterious man collapsed to the ground, no more tomorrow for him. The Fourth grabbed the spot that he was stabbed, the blood flowing into his hands. His katana slowly slid out of his hands due to some of the blood, with the point of it so it got stuck inside of the ground.

The Fourth’s vision was slowly fading. The mysterious man’s army just stood in a circle around the Fourth. He had lost. Not the battle, but everything precious to him, the things he and his predecessors wanted to protect.. In one last attempt, the Fourth eyed the entire army with the eyes of a near-death man, barely able to see. Without grabbing his katana and without thinking, he dashed forwards, but once he got near, he got stabbed with multiple weapons, completely impaling his body. He coughed blood, followed by collapsing upon the ground and his vision completely fading. His breathing had stopped, his empire had been destroyed..

Will there be someone chosen to be the next heir and want to resurrect the entire Empire? Only time will tell.

Fifth Heir: Déjà vu.
Rei Go Cryptic. A boy born with several gifts. Not normal gifts, however… From the beginning of his birth, he had flashbacks of people that he had never even seen before. And seeing the surroundings in those flashbacks, it definitely must’ve been from many years back, maybe even a hundred years. He never understood why he was seeing those images flashing before his eyes and always wondered why. The flashbacks seemed to go in order of happenings.

He stayed up day and night in order to figure out what was going on. Were they just imaginary people? Or have they actually existed? He did notice one thing strange, however.. Every person seen within the images has the same physical traits as himself. One of them had long, black/white hair, the other had yellow/golden eyes, another one had tattoo’s under his eyes and the last one he witnessed was someone that had a constant smile, which was obviously like himself as well.

In order to find out why these images were flashing before his eyes, he decided to travel to each and every area that the people in the images had been to. He dressed himself with his black/red robes and walked outside of his house. He didn’t have anyone to say farewell to, considering he almost never befriended people. On his own, he left for his travelling decision, walking deep into the horizon, not turning his back towards the people within the village he was residing in. His clothes were moving along in the wind’s flow, his yellow/golden eyes seemingly looking just in the future, aside from the random flashbacks he had from the previous Heirs.

From the images flashing before his eyes, he could somewhat determine the first stop he had to take in order to follow the order of his flashbacks. He walked for many, of course, in order to get food, he stopped every now and then to get some, maybe bring some for along the road, but he didn’t want to lose any precious time. This is the first time in his life that he tried to travel around the world, so it was a major event for him.

On rainy and stormy days, he took shelter somewhere under the nearest tree; although it’s dangerous to be there with lightning around, or maybe in a pub if he was lucky enough to get to one soon enough. After a lot of traveling, he finally ended up within the Death Country, the place where one person built an entire empire. He took a look around, wondering where the empire was actually standing many years back. Slowly he made his way through the Death Country, taking a good look at everything, now using the images flashing before his eyes as a guidance. In the distance, he noticed objects that seemed like collapsed buildings. Without a second of thinking, he just continued walking towards it, like he was in trance. Nothing around him seemed relevant anymore. He finally reached the place where he noticed the collapsed objects; and his feeling was right. This was the place where the empire was built and eventually collapsed. He walked around, looking from side to side, the wind blowing through the area which caused some dust to fly off into the air and circle around Rei. Within the center, there were the collapsed statues of the Three Heirs; the Fourth Heir’s statue was never even to be added. Right now, the images of the moment where the Four Heirs were dying were flashing before his eyes, as if something was connecting within his very mind.

Once the connection had been found, the light in his eyes had changed, his ‘eternal smile’ of course upon his face. He took a final look around, noticing the katana stabbed into the ground, which belonged to the Fourth. Slowly he walked towards it and grabbed its hilt, placing it over his shoulder. The clouds continued slowly moving around in the sky, them slowly darkening as it seemed that it would begin to rain and possible lightning rods crashing down upon the Earth. As soon as the first lightning rod crashed down, he remembered everything that happened in the previous Heir’s lifetimes, as if he was them. Right now, his immediate goal was obvious.. To resurrect the entire empire. Also, he remembered the special gifts the Heirs had.

First Heir: A body that didn’t age beyond age 23.
Second Heir: Boil Release
Third Heir: Ability to turn into a spirit after dying and roaming free.
The Fourth Heir didn’t have an ability, but a precious katana that would surely help Rei along the way of resurrecting the Empire. At least, with every special ability within his DNA, and the Katana of the Fourth, it seems like all of them worked together to create an entire new Empire. Possibly even better.

Years passed. Obviously Rei was older than 23, but his body didn’t even age one bit. It just seemed like he was 23. Even now, he’s residing within the Death Country. Even though it isn't exactly his place, he is now living among the Missing Ninja. Although it may just be a temporary place to stay, he can plan anything related to resurrecting the empire here, hopefully without any interruptions. Of course, he isn't leaving it with this. Even now, he's looking for strong people who would wish to aid him to help rebuild the Empire. With his smile on his lips, and his confident eyes, he just continued looking in the future, but even now, sometimes, looking back into the previous lifetimes, for wisdom and experience.

RP Sample: Virtue, who had recently visited Shippuugakure and supposedly went missing, was finally ending up back on the road towards Kusamuragakure. He decided to pay a visit to the village he previously belonged to and was actually the leader of once. Although he had no intention of taking the village over again, under his wing, he wondered who the new Kage was and wondered if he could possibly be of any help in further developing the village in order to make something even greater. His crimson red eyes were scanning the horizon as he got into a small boat in order to cross the ocean and step once again on dry land. The sun was shining down upon the water making it look like pure crystal, though not being able to see the bottom due to the ocean being so deep. After a while, once he got on dry land, he walked for a decent amount of time, making his way through the forest that was not too far away from the ocean, considering Shippuugakure and Kusamuragakure are neighboring countries. Hopefully the alliance he had made with Dominic Edrick wasn't in vain when he stepped down from the throne of Kusamuragakure's Kage.

Eventually, after a while of walking, he finally emerged from behind the bushes within the forest, standing in front of Kusamuragakure's gates. Without the guards even taking a good look towards the person standing in front of the gates, they immediately let him inside. They obviously knew that it was Virtue, the previous Kage of the village. With a quick greeting towards the polite guards, he made his way through the slight opening they made for him, closing the gates again afterwards. And so, he finally once again entered the village, searching for the current Kage.

Rei Go Cryptic Empty

Ok, after thorough reading, I will attempt this application. The history is more than qualified, due to the word count, and Arechi doesnt have an official S Rank position. I will, for the sake of the site, give you this position in the Missing Ninja Village, since this was the first attempt at someone trying to take the S Rank position for the country.

Everything is clean, APPROVED.
